Made this subreddit recently basically on a whim. I have been watching this dude make videos for a while and was shocked to see that he doesn't have a dedicated subreddit. Hopefully this will become a decent community where fans of Etika can chat about stuff.

2024.05.22 15:24 DocWatson42 Ghost Busting and Monster Hunting Anime

I'm compiling a list, both for its own sake and possibly for submission as a theme in the ANN Encyclopedia—what anime series are focused on ghost busting/monster hunting (dealing with and disposing of supernatural menaces, often with extreme prejudice)?
[A] theme should represent a core element of the story; for example Princess Nine has tennis in a few episodes but it is not an anime about tennis. Ask yourself if you would watch this title only for the X, where X is the theme you want to add.
(Emphasis in the original.) Hentai is fine, but again the focus should be on the ghost busting/monster hunting, not being captured and turned into sex slaves (especially in the first episode of a multi-episode series >_<). Japan-only series are also fine. This is, however, not a list about fantasy RPG–type dungeon crawls, but supernatural creatures.
The list in absolute alphabetical order, with the initial articles "A" and "The" ignored, and spaces coming before punctuation, which comes before numbers, which come before letters. The initial title in a franchise stands for the similarly-titled part(s) of that franchise. E.g., Devilman and its spinoff/reboot The Devil Lady are listed separately, but Yu Yu Hakusho represents the entire franchise.
All links are to the Anime News Network Encyclopedia, or where that is not possible, to Wikipedia. = The title is linked to the manga entry in order to cover all of the anime portions of the franchise.
This list may not be definitive (though I hope to make it so with your help); what did I miss, and what needs correction?

Completed TBOGT what a fun ride it was.
I know helicopter missions sucks but other than that the DLC itself is so much fun ngl some new weapons and that shotgun with fire shots is badass, also that NOOSE tank is my favorite I use that to do some shit in the liberty city now i will try to complete each mission with 100% as i have already completed 60 drug wars, also paragliding.

2024.05.19 09:05 KaleidoArachnid What are some fun anime series that are not afraid to push boundaries?

I ask as I was looking back at the TV show called Ishuzoku Reviewers as to me, it was a very fascinating show for how it managed to constantly blur the line between hentai and ecchi so much that even to this day, I still cannot believe that it was allowed to air on mainstream TV, well sort of.
My point is that I miss having anime series that challenged networks by constantly testing what was acceptable to air on again mainstream TV, and while the aforementioned TV show Ishuzoku Reviewers may be forever prohibited from ever returning, I still greatly miss those kind of shows anyway.

2024.04.21 06:07 Cute-A-Lingous Does anyone know if they plan to Remaster Ranma 1/2?

I just went back and re-watched Ranma 1/2 and it still holds up well TO THIS DAY. Some of the social concepts that were put on display such as gender identity, being comfortable with feeling like a guy and a girl at the same time, Female equality in physical combat... which were very controversial subjects in 1990 are very relevant and just starting to be talked about NOW. As well as one of the first non-Hentai animes to feature female (and partial male) nudity. That show was DECADES ahead of its time in terms of culture and story telling.
It's very sad because people have not talked about this show in 20 years, It never got put on Toonami or any easily accessible American network that I'm aware of. This show needs to be remastered immediately. But as far as I can tell some of the writers have died and there is no effort to remaster it.

2024.04.10 18:48 Beneficial-Pay9518 What Happened to Teletoon was Inevitable

Canada had a whole decade to prove to the United States that Canadian animation wasn’t as bad as they think. The replacement of Teletoon's English feed with Cartoon Network, however, is symbolic of the fact that Canada had proven the Americans right. But that’s just in the realm of children’s programming; the truth can only be found in adult animation.
The Delta State predates Amazon’s Undone & Adult Swim’s Dream Corp as one of the earliest shows to predominately use rotoscoping. It also comes from that rare breed of non-Japanese adult animated dramas that, as demonstrated by the cancellation of AMC's Pantheon, struggle to co-exist in a market ruled by sitcoms. Delta State is an example of what happens when adult animation is done purely for the art.
The show was produced for Teletoon, which launched in Quebec on September 8, 1997; the English version would launch a month later. Back then, Teletoon was a joint venture between various Canadian companies, and was producing shows for multiple demographics. One such investor was Corus Entertainment; a broadcaster that has since monopolized both the children's and animation industries in Canada. By 2011, Teletoon was a 50/50 partnership with Astral Media, the former owners of Family Channel; Teletoon would become wholly owned by Corus in 2013.
In the decade since, Corus has produced four adult animated shows: Night Sweats, 2 Nuts and a Richard! (Les Grandes Gueules s'animent!), Doomsday Brothers (Les Frères Apocalypse), and the recent Psi Cops. All four shows have received largely negative reviews from English audiences, and the first thee never produced more than 30 episodes. In the case of Night Sweats, Doomsday Brothers, and Psi Cops, of which I have seen several episodes of each, I can say, in my opinion alone, that these shows bring nothing new to the table.
These shows instead use the tired template of shock value made famous by Fox’s Family Guy & Comedy Central’s South Park. Rather than try to do something new and innovative, these shows cling to the outdated notion that all adult animation have to be raunchy comedies. The reason why South Park won a Peabody award is because the show, in its current form, uses extreme content in-service to meaningful social commentary. The difference between Comedy Central's revival of Futurama, and every other show created for the network, is that Futurama excels at storytelling; while other shows, more often than not, take from South Park’s offensive content, but don’t do anything of substance to supplement it.
In my opinion, Night Sweats, Doomsday Brothers, and Psi Cops are akin to the many failed attempts by Comedy Central and Fox to create quality animation on par with that of Netflix, Adult Swim, and now, Amazon's offerings.
Netflix Originals, such as Bojack Horseman, F is for Family, and Disenchanted, ushered in a renaissance for adult animation in America because they were among the first major TV shows to break away from 90s sitcom template and do something new. Meanwhile, Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty needs no introduction at this point. For as turbulent a time as it has become for Adult Swim’s parent company, shows like My Adventures with Superman, Unicorn, Primal, and even the polarizing Japanese anime co-productions show that Adult Swim has evolved beyond their “stoner cartoon” status quo. And then there's Amazon's Prime Video; which has been the dark horse of the industry despite the critical acclaim of Invincible and The Legend of Vox Machina. A 2023 Polygon article was on the money when it called the latter show "an animated and serialized fantasy show about adults, for adults."
Nowhere on traditional, Canadian television today will you find anything on par with the American shows that I just name-dropped. When you compare Corus’ offerings to what you see on Netflix, Adult Swim, and Amazon, it can be concluded that Canadian animation has institutionally failed its audience. The only reason I’m using American examples is because the the U.S still has room to grow compared to where Japanese animation has been; and don't get me started on the clear drop in quality that "modern" anime has gone through over the past decade. If Canadian adult animation can’t do better than the U.S., it’s pointless comparing them to dime-a-dozen slice-of life shows, cookie-cutter isekai, and harem shows so unoriginal you'd be better off watching hentai instead.
Where Canada has failed in adult animation, children's programming remains a lucrative business. But without a modern, critically-acclaimed, multi-generational hit on par with Cartoon Network’s offerings, Teletoon would become a comparatively, irrelevant brand. The relaunch of Teletoon’s English network as revamped Cartoon Network is a reflection of the fact that it’s the latter brand’s programming, and that of Warner Bros Animation as a whole, which drives its viewership. It’s not farfetched to assume that the original French network, and streaming service Teletoon+, will also eventually fold under the Cartoon Network brand at a later date - a date which will mark the true death of Teletoon.
I’ll leave you with this: the next time Canadian media giants complain about foreign streamers stealing away their audience, remember that these are the same giants that decided to create Netflix clones which required a TV subscription. The same giants that used revenue generated from American shows, not to create better Canadian shows, but to buy more American shows. The same giants that got television laws and regulations abolished just so they can turn iconic brands like MuchMusic into import farms. Even the CBC, with all their government money & commercial revenue, couldn’t save one the biggest Black Canadian drama in existence from cancellation because it was a co-production with the biggest African-American network; the same network where anything not made Tyler Perry doesn’t last more than three seasons.
Canadian television sucks for a reason.

2024.04.07 20:06 Thisvthat Think of the Children: Hidden Cameras, Video Stores, & Adult Anime

Here's a link to the video [06:56]

Transcript:

Anime’s popularity was growing rapidly in the United States in the late 1990s. And this increase in popularity also came with an increase in scrutiny. Columnists from various mainstream outlets were covering its rising popularity. And even if the articles themselves weren’t explicitly negative, there seemed to be a common observation: that these Japanese cartoons appeared to be a lot more violent, and sexually suggestive, than their western counterparts–even after localization. However, at the time, it looks like most people either didn’t know or didn’t care. Even in the now infamous Wall Street Journal article, they note that Cartoon Network hadn’t received any complaints–from either parents or advertisers.
But this wouldn’t be the end of it. Just over a year later, the issue of adult content in anime would be brought back into the news cycle in a new way. One that was not only critical of the content itself, but the places where fans purchased it.
On January 28, 2001, if you looked on the front page of The New York Times, you’d find what appears to have been the catalyst of what was to come. An article by Times columnist Jim Rutenberg entitled, “Violence Finds a Niche in Children's Cartoons.” It starts with three descriptions of violent scenes from anime that aired on Warner Brothers (WB), Cartoon Network, and Fox during children’s programming blocks. After touching on anime’s increasing popularity and a muted response from parents and media watchdogs, he compares it to classics like Roadrunner and Tom & Jerry–noting an increase in the level of violence.
After turning to page 19, you’ll find descriptions of two more violent scenes–one from both Dragon Ball Z and Digimon. The next section focuses on how anime is influencing a new, more violent, wave of western animation. Citing the WB’s Batman Beyond. An interesting note is that the article also has comments from executives at three large networks. The executives at Fox and WB both said that anime was more than senseless violence. However, Nickelodeon didn’t want anything to do with it. With the network’s executive vice president and general manager, saying, “It's more violence for violence's sake than I've ever seen.”
The article closes with a section on how views about violence on television are changing, and another wondering whether anime would be able to sustain this level of popularity. But the thing that seemed to stick in people’s minds was the notion that children were viewing things that they really shouldn’t be. In their response to the article, ICv2’s final statement would turn out to be prescient. “...with grittier, harder-edged anime like Outlaw Star making a splash on the Cartoon Network … anime is going to get more visibility at a time when the entertainment industry is an easy target of ‘bipartisan’ political opportunity. Evidently there are plenty of otherwise rational people who want to ‘pablumize’ children's television. This front page article in the New York Times may just be the overture in a symphony of bloviation to come. Stay tuned…”
Our saga begins in early February at the famous Golden Apple comic shop in Los Angeles, California. Reporters from the local television station KCOP-TV sent three boys into the shop to buy adult comics–after wiring them up with cameras and microphones. The kids were able to walk out of the store with some adult books without much trouble. The report appears to have ended shortly after they tried to interview the store’s owner, Bill Liebowitz, and were quickly shown the door. This incident only aired on local television so most people, even within the state, probably had no idea that it happened.
But a similar event would take place less than a week later. This time, it took place in Cleveland, Ohio, and the local news station was WEWS-TV. This story was inspired by one of the network’s producers. She was surprised by the adult content in the cartoons that her 16 year old son was watching. In order to show everyone just how easy it was to obtain, they wired him up with a camera and sent him into a couple of video store chains. And, at least one location, he didn’t have too much trouble. While the report didn’t name the stores, ICv2 found out that one of them was Suncoast. In their recap, ICv2 notes the apparent difference in objectives between the two hidden camera stories: “Unlike the TV undercover operation in LA that targeted Golden Apple, the Channel 5 story appeared to be more about enlightening the general public that adult cartoons are out there, rather than about skewering any individual retailer. The key message of the Channel 5 report was that 'a lot of what's available in the video stores is a long way from what you see on television.’” While the report did include comments from the Citizens for the Protection of Children in Medina, a county in the greater Cleveland area, it also spoke with the owner of an anime video store. Now if one story is a coincidence, and two make a pattern, then three…
Another report was released on February 13 by WTAE-TV, out of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Like the previous story, this one focused on how easy it was for children to obtain anime with adult content. The reporter sent in a 12 year old with instructions to buy something explicit, and he returned with a tape that, “Contains violence, strong language and nudity.” However, at the end of the report, she noted that the tape didn’t contain hard-core pornography and that it wasn’t against the law for the store to rent, or sell, it minors. There wasn’t a whole lot more to the report, other than quotes from the director of the Pittsburgh Coalition Against Pornography and an “anime watcher.”
The last report takes us back to California. On March 1, in San Diego, KGTV released their investigation. The report begins by describing anime’s increasing popularity, using the East Lake High School anime club as an example. They then speak to a concerned mother who’s never heard of anime before. They show her clips that, according to the reporter, are, “...so sexually explicit we can't even show you parts we showed her.” She called the footage “X-rated” and didn’t appear to leave with a good impression of anime as a whole. “It has no benefit. There's no redeeming value to it whatsoever. I mean, it's just shocking, shocking to me.” They then sent her 13 year old son into two video stores: Suncoast and Tower Records. At Suncoast, he was able to purchase the hentai OVA Dragon Knight with any resistance–and this seems to be the anime that they showed to his mother. At Tower Records, they tried to purchase two tapes: one marked ages 13 and up, and the other marked ages 18 and up. After being asked to verify his age, he was only able to pick up the tape marked 13 and up. But an employee noted that things do slip past them when they’re busy.
However, even though he was old enough to buy it, they were still critical of the content–citing violence and nudity. They spoke to a police officer about laws that restrict the selling of harmful things to minors, but he said that there was no definitive legislation on the issue and that they’d be looking into it. They also spoke with a representative from the Citizens for Community Values of San Diego who called for retailers who sold these materials to kids to be prosecuted.
As for the East Lake High School anime club mentioned at the beginning, it ended up getting suspended. While the school didn’t believe that they had shown any explicit content, they suspended the club pending investigation. ICv2 reached out to the school after the report, and found out that the investigation didn’t uncover anything. However, a policy required students to obtain written permission from their parents to view videos on school grounds. So, at the time of their report, the club’s future was still uncertain.
This report seems to have received a lot more push back from anime fans. In addition to discussion on news sites, fan groups, and blogs, there was a much more positive anime-focused article released by a parent in Cleveland, as well as a petition going around asking KGTV to release another report to clarify that not all anime is violent and pornographic.
While the petition doesn’t seem to have gone anywhere, the KGTV report would mark the end of this short trend. But was this really just a coincidence? In their coverage of the Pittsburgh investigation, ICv2 gave two reasons why this trend could continue. The first was that a lot of local television stations are owned by the same company, and can share stories with one another. But, at the time, each station was owned by a different company.
  • KCOP (News Corp.)
  • WEWS (The E. W. Scripps Company)
  • WTAE (Hearst)
  • KGTV (McGraw Hill)
The second was that news directors will look at other stations in order to get ideas for new stories, which is definitely a possibility.
Regardless of the reasons behind it, this episode gives us an interesting look into how anime was viewed in the early 2000s. And while fans may not have appreciated the way anime was portrayed in these stories, it doesn’t look like they did anything to slow its growing popularity.

  • Availability of achievements
  • Localization into several languages, including Russian
  • Game for “adults” with 18+ content
  • Bright anime heroines
  • Smooth animations
  • Presence of “erotic” sounds
  • The presence of “improvements” and “sex toys” that will allow you to quickly pleasure your heroine
  • 5 sexy beauties for your choice
  • Simple one-handed operation

Did not like:
  • Clicker
  • Created with UE5
  • Quite useless “improvements” that do not have a particularly strong effect on the number of “points”
  • One tune for the whole game
  • Just two or three “erotic” sighs for each girl
  • If you exit a level BEFORE all stages are completed, the game progress will be reset
  • No visible changes on characters when using upgrades and sex toys
  • Lack of interactivity with character models
  • The “final stage” of the image does not appear at the very end of the score, but ⅓ before the end
  • “Gallery” mode - does not have change keys to view all completed stages of the character
  • “Gallery” mode - to view characters, you need to switch and activate the viewing function for each character separately
  • “Gallery” mode - to change and view completed stages for characters, you again need to complete the game in the “clicker” genre
  • “Gallery” mode - no training on managing image viewing
  • Missing “Options” key in the main menu/game
  • The absence of the “Exit game” key in the main menu of the game
  • Using neural networks to generate images

Conclusion:
“FREE GIRLS!” - a small indie clicker from the young developer of erotic games “Hentai Puzzle”, which focused on the use of neural network images. In this game you have to mercilessly use the left mouse button to score maximum points and view small animations of sex - generated using AI.
The game boasts a nice visual anime style for its female characters, no visible generation artifacts, and smooth animation scenes. Unfortunately, at this stage all the positives end.
The relative disadvantages include the boring, monotonous and monotonous gameplay - in which your only task is to click the left mouse button, occasionally using “improvements” - which do not particularly affect the progress of gaining points, or the interactivity of game scenes.
It is also worth noting the paucity of musical accompaniment, consisting of playing one single melody throughout the entire game. And also a minimal set of “exciting” moans from the main characters, which are limited to two or three sighs of pleasure, repeated ad infinitum.
As a result: “FREE GIRLS!” is a rather mediocre clicker with a minimal number of characters and gameplay, which can occupy some teenagers aged 12 to 16 years - those who do not know about the possibility of using erotic sites, as well as fans of “quick” and “simple” achievements.

2024.03.13 01:00 hijoput4 What the fuck happened in gog-games.to ??

Did a teenager kidnap the admin?
The site is getting hentai games and visual novels all the time and there are no filters available. There is no single day without at least one or two in the frontpage.
...or its a sexual fixation in the western hemisphere showing up even on games?
Damn, one day I will check cartoon network and will see bugs bunny giving a blowjob to elmer fudd!
WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING?!

2024.02.24 14:16 Blackwhite35-73 Reply of the Soldiers of the 101st Airborne 'Screaming Eagles' Division of the Middle North American Region to Chief Nikonus(The March for Unity AU series)

Well, thats a bit quick innit eh?
I was inspired by this which was further inspired by this.
This was something silly that I thought of.
Enjoy!
CW: Profanity
Historical Text distributed and supplied by The Zarkyevian Central University
Introduction:
October 24th, 2136 was the pivotal moment where the Zarkyevian State, its allied species consisting of the Venlil, Arxur, Zurilians, disparate members of the Gojidi Union and the Yotul had delivered a deadly warning towards the now-destroyed Galactic Federation and its members which many historians and AI consider it to be the true start of the State-Federation War or 'The Great Galactic Schism' by more local institutions.
This would also mark the moment when Cilany, investigative journalist and recently appointed 'Martyred Hero of the State' (though she never accepted the title due to feeling responsible for much of her species Harchen population being placed under Isolation and the population forced to accept the offer to repay the damages owed by the State for their contribution to the Extermination fleet) was able to discreetly livestream the truth of much of the Federations true history towards the rest of the population.
After the eventual capture of the Kolshian Shadow Caste's underground subterranean city and the planet as a whole, data measuring to almost 1 RB (ronnabyte) was recovered by State Intelligence Personnel with assistance from several coordinating AI systems (most notably 'Skywatch', an Earth-based AI system, informally referred to as 'Skynet'), multiple divisions of the Zarkyevian Cyber Cohorts, Military Intelligence Cohorts and various other then newly-established alien Intelligence Agencies.
Out of all the data meticulously cycled and parsed through, one manuscript stood out when a Yotul seconded towards the Zarkyevian 47th Forward Intelligence Regiment was going through any records pertaining to post-broadcast digital activities within the mid-tiers of Kolshian leadership.
The single-page document had apparently been sent on the 1st of November, 8 days, 17 hours and 16 minutes after the broadcast revealed from an unknown location towards Nikonus' personal computer that Kolshian Intelligence services were unable to locate.
The document was intended for then-Kolshian leader Nikonus before his assassination by 'Martyred Hero of the State' Slanek, a prominent Venlil soldier. The senders revealed themselves as soldiers of the 101st Airborne 'Screaming Eagles' Division, by way of the 'Dauntless Many'
Note that this Division was, at the time of the document being sent was route and split towards securing multiple colony worlds responsible for the procurement, processing and refinement of raw material for the Federation alongside several other Zarkyevian State Armed Forces and allied species fleets.
Warning:
The following document contains strong profanity. Do not read if you feel that you will be easily offended.
To: Chief Nikonus of the Cthtulu Tentacle Hentai Squid-Karaage Fuckboy DAMN FEDS, ALWAYS THE FEDS Femmy Femboy Pussy Ass Not-Star-Trek Federation
From: The proud Men and Women of the 101st Airborne 'Screaming Eagles' Division of the Lower North American Region, of the Dauntless Many.
Greeterlings, O mighty, wise and totally benevolent leader of the Federation, Nikonus AKA George Orwell's Wet Dream, the poster child of manipulative squid/octopus monsters, stupid eyed frog-squid mutant, trophy child of Mao Zedong, Kim Jong Un, Kim Ju Ae, Joseph Stalin, Idi Amin and many more tyrannical leaders.
What kind of leader are you, to so easily reveal the deepest, darkest veils of Federation secrets? Like a Saturday cartoon villain revealing his plans to the cartoon hero, like a baby willing to give candy to a candy-stealer, like an antagonist from a 3/5 video game and like an antagonist from an action film of old.
You will not, you son of 'The Bitch', make charred skeletons/gene-modded/fragmented people/mindless animals of Earth and her people, Mankind. All our gods: Holy, Demonic, Pagan, all shit upon you, and you and your entire Federation weeps and eats.
We have united through blood, sweat and tears, through heartfelt moments and the blackest of days, through peace and soon war. We have no fear of you, your schemes, armadas and armies; by Sea, Air, Land, and Space we will battle with you alongside our new friends and allies.
Fuck your mother, your father, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and children.
You Sivkitian whore-monger, Arxur medic, Somalian peace activist, healthiest man in Russia, Zurilian hangman, known pedophile in a public prison, blue Gojid, bravest Venlil, Muslim pork-eater, toilet cleaner of all the Federation and beyond, bastard child of Frog and Octopus, conniving shitstain under everyone's shoes, least of the least of the Kolshian species, Kratotl bird-shit, least queer Japanese cross-dresser, atheist Yulpan, blood-drinking Drezjin, land-loving Thafki and the crick in our dicks!
Yulpa's snout, Axrur's teeth, unwashed ass, scat-fetishist, slaughterhouse good-for-nothing shit-for-all. Fuck your own mother, father and your entire family! Even the children too!
So will the Americans of the 101st declare, lowlife! You won't even be leading so much as a forum discussion poll for the 4channers. Now we shall conclude this message on Halloween's day, for we know of the date and of our calendar. The many stars are in the night sky, and the year is dark but the blacker the darkness, the brighter the Light of the State shines!
The day's pretty much the same as it is over there; for this kiss our hairy primate asses!!
End Document
It is currently unknown whether Chief Nikonus actually read the message or not but what is known is that upon investigation towards the 101st for how they were able to penetrate the long distance in light-years, somehow be able to tap directly into the heart of Federation data centers and be able to even directly access Nikonus' personal communication network, the investigators were left with multiple shrewd facial expressions, humourous snickering and a few people muttering 'The power of Marine-Issued Crayons' and ''Crayons' are a helluva drug.'
How this correlates with the Mid-American Marine Divisions is unknown and evidence has never been properly gathered enough for continued investigations.
And that sums up the second part of The March for Unity!
This will be sorta covering short snippets from various points in time in no form of order.
I plan for it to get dark as I elaborate on the lore of the Zarkyevian State, how it effected the galaxy's peoples and how it seems for the State to frequently alternate between the black and white.
In the meantime, you can ask me questions in the comments.
See ya!

2024.02.14 03:00 Dsto97 I joined and I want to tell my story (with complaints)

Hi, I'm Dsto97 and i would like to tell my story in this world of schediafilia, almost 5 years ago, I was just starting to watch some anime (I think the first one i watched was sewayaki kitsune no senko-san), and since then I got more and more into anime, i watched overlord, SAO, konosuba, blend S, and many more, sometimes I didn't sleep because i watched so much anime, as time went by, i started to watch anime recommendations on youtube, and summaries of several (i still do), and among the recommendations there was a video of "hentai anime recommendations", i watched it, and looked for some that caught my attention, i watched them in hentaila, there in a commentary i found out about the existence of doujinshis, and nhentai, this almost 3 and a half years ago, and 3 years ago I created my account, I created it with the intention of keeping a doujin that in my opinion is amazing, the code is 349390, here was where I saw her, her name Karen Hashimoto, the context although somewhat basic and requires reading previous works of the author to understand the first pages that give some context, it is understood, obviating this, I felt attracted to her because of (although it sounds silly) her personality, kind, happy, cheerful, something that is emphasized in the second part (399649) especially in the last pages, always supporting others, always trying to help them, and she has a good heart, something that makes me happy for the fact that she is happy, maybe something strange but it doesn't matter.
however after the release of the second volume of Karen, a new doujin of the author came out, that only the fact of remembering it bothers me, first a little context (spoilers), saimin kanojo (as the name indicates) is the saga where suzuki (the protagonist) installs an app that allows him to hypnotize people, he uses it with Iori Takanashi, his classmate (and the "cannon couple" of the story), after the fourth installment where Iori is the protagonist, a volume comes out with Haruka Maezawa (second couple) and his sister, and after the fourth installment where Iori is the protagonist, after the second installment of Haruka, Karen Hashimoto, of whom I have already spoken, comes out, all of them are hypnotized by the protagonist for sexual purposes, however (end spoiler) the fact that I am telling this, the protagonist after being discovered by Iori's mother being with her daughter but not yet understanding the hypnotism, is also affected and ends up being another one of "his harem", this fact has increased my annoyance with the author, since I have always disliked the fact that Karen is, so to speak, her third choice, and I understand that the author has every right to do what she wants with her work, but this has made me feel depressed with the release of a volume where Karen and Iori are the main characters, knowing that Karen is not so important, I feel frustrated, because of this, but I can't stop thinking about her every time I turn on the monitor, and I remember that I spent hours and hours searching in the author's networks, new or old things about Karen, I keep a folder dedicated to this, and I guess it is already noticed that I am obsessive with her, but I got to the point of renaming myself in my account of already almost 4 years of osu! , I paid 4 dollars just to change my name to Karen Hashimoto, for her, and my profile picture in steam is her (edited so I don't get banned for nsfw content), and ending, I want to say that I wrote all this as a way to vent, express myself in a space dedicated to this kind of paraphilia, which I discovered a little less than a year ago.
I thank whoever read this for putting up with my complaints and sorry for my bad english (used google translate).

2024.02.12 07:07 Different_Drama_5166 Fuck zodiac signs. What networks are you part of? Why ? Are they still active?

Advocate is the obvious unquittable default one. But what else do you play in ?
I play in IMC because of the name, and because sometimes the chat comes alive and is full of funny bullshit.
HENTAI for the memes, the happy hour at a convenient time, and the chat which is at times hilarious.
FURRY because despite not being one, you have no idea how fun it is, seeing people getting mad in the chat because they got killed by someone that is supposedly a furry.
ROMANIA, I joined hoping to find other pilots closer to home, but it's a dead network aside from me and someone else.
ETC (european titalfall community) is completely dead. I'm still in it in for the happy hour, never hurts to have more options.
That's it for me I guess. What about you guys ?

Test yourself in puzzles - for speed! Collect images of beautiful anime girls kindly generated by the neural network - and get a bonus nude image as a prize!
Are you ready to show off your right hand speed, not just when watching porn?

Liked:

Did not like:

Conclusion:
"LEWD GIRLS: Hentai Puzzle" is a puzzle game for adults. It includes a combination of neural network images in the style of “anime”, with elements of erotica.
In the game you are invited to collect various puzzles consisting of fragments with images of girls that have two display modes: in clothes, and also completely naked. You need to place the puzzle pieces in the correct order to get a complete image - without seeing the original canvas.
In addition to the complexity, the timer for all images is the same, which is why you have to nervously move puzzle pieces on “complex” images, forgetting about “relaxing” and “erotic” thoughts.. The faster you complete the task, the more stars You receive - and therefore can open more images in the future.
However, it is worth noting that the game contains explicit content and is intended for adults only. If you do not like or are not interested in erotic content, then you can disable the “nudity” function and enjoy collecting images without the “shock” content that irritates you.
Overall, "LEWD GIRLS: Hentai Puzzle" offers simple but definitely not relaxing gameplay for fans of the puzzle genre and erotic content.
It is worth noting that the game lacks the usual “humor” and visual style inherent in the developer’s previous projects. Which makes it seem like KG/AM created this project just for the sake of money. This is evidenced by the extremely poorly created puzzles, the use of neural networks in development, as well as a few problems that still remain active, despite the instructions of the players.

[GUIDE] How I Earn Almost $200 Monthly with Kuro-AI with Only 500 Followers
Hello Hello Kuro Gang!
https://preview.redd.it/xzhypci61wgc1.png?width=3652&format=png&auto=webp&s=b04d2d75f5d23b022bf08b51f92bff663263ec8d
First and foremost, I want to say that this can be done completely for free, without the need to buy anything; you simply contribute and get contributions in return. Here, you will earn monthly subscriptions, meaning that as long as people remain subscribed, you continue generating passive income, in this case, 20-25%.
I will be documenting here how my journey as an affiliate for Kuro AI went and will do a step-by-step on how I did it and how it works, since Kuro AI allows us all to grow and doesn't just focus on themselves. Thanks to not being a multinational and growing as a community, they afford everyone the opportunity to grow, and here I contribute my grain of sand.

CREATE AN ACCOUNT:

First step: Create an account on Kuro AI https://kuro-ai.com
Second step: Once created, access https://kuro-ai.com/affiliate/ and at the bottom where it says "Start now" click on Affiliate.
Start Now
Once inside, click on "Apply Now".
Apply Now
And you accept the terms, which include having a PayPal account for payments and generating a minimum of $20 for the payments, payments are made on the first of the month monthly.
Last Step: Once inside, you take your link, click on Get your link button.
Get your link button
Affiliate link
In my case, it's https://kuro-ai.com/?wpam_id=97, with this link if a person enters and purchases a membership or Krystals, you will have a 20% if you are a free user and 25% if you are premium.

Add PayPal:

In your profile, affiliate tab don't forget to add your PayPal Address:
https://preview.redd.it/r87gsx2c5wgc1.png?width=518&format=png&auto=webp&s=c61dde9a05cb232bb3e8ffbf6ca66751a91bb840

STADISTICS AND EARNINGS:

With this, you can earn:
  • Basic Membership: $5 x 25% = $1.25 per sale monthly.
  • Premium Membership: $15 x 25% = $3.75 per sale monthly.
  • Ultra Membership: $28 x 25% = $7 per sale monthly.
  • Krystal Packs: Earn 25% commission on packs ranging from $5 to $100, up to $25 per buy.
That is, with 20 people purchasing the Ultra and staying subscribed, we would be generating about $150 monthly. Below I put my statistics so you can see that it is more than possible.
Stadistics
I'll explain! On the top right, you can see that I achieved this with 20,000 visits, these are direct visits to the link and there were 46 purchases, with this I made a total of $178.10 and I was paid $155.35 through PayPal. Below are the last 3 referrals, which gave me $7 + $3.75 + $7, these were passive because I spent some time without advertising anything, my balance this month in 5 days was $22.75.
With 20,000 visits, $178 is a lot! And this is the main reason why I am making this guide encouraging you because I believe that gradually this will become big and well-known. Now I will explain a bit about my modus operandi, I have X (Twitter) and Reddit and I use both, I have to say that I lean more towards NSFW content because it's easier.
Some communities like /KuroHentai/ were born thanks to having this partnership with Kuro AI.
You can generate the images on Kuro AI or you can use any image that is generated by me or by 'NKX' on the web or Discord. From here, I encourage you to join our Discord and meet people, if you get along you can share content and if you like the idea we can try to enable a channel on Discord with copyright-free images for affiliates.
What I recommend the most is consistency; it's better to create a few images a day and use them on social networks than to do a lot of work in one day and end up not posting anything. Gradually, by making a few daily posts, you end up achieving more than if you burn out in a day. If you take it easy, who knows, a little extra income is always nice, or even a full income if you have a large audience.

MY PLAN:

First on Twitter, what I always do is post in communities, as instantly your posts are seen by all the members of that community, it's like having an instant account with 100,000 followers!
Personally, the one I use the most is https://twitter.com/i/communities/1617498397753376770 and for SFW content, it's https://twitter.com/i/communities/1470913825125937164
There, you can upload your Kuro AI creation along with your link and gradually reach more people and make your own plan.
X/Twitter Post
Here you can see how I do it, you can create your own style, since everything is suitable.
Another way is on Reddit, using posts and other communities just like Twitter, I personally use onepiecehentaiz and /funpiece/ but as I said before, it's all about finding your style.

Reddit Post
The post in question is https://www.reddit.com/onepiecehentaiz/comments/1959a2h/boa_hancock_at_the_onsen_4k/ so you can see there's no trick.
And in the comment, I add the source of where I made it, which in this case is Kuro AI, but I include it with a hyperlink with my affiliate link, so when they enter, I can get my commission.

Another way to do it is with TikTok, something I'll start trying soon. I'll leave you with another artist who tried TikTok and did well: https://www.tiktok.com/@cosplaymakin/photo/7283180290460224800
With Kuro AI, they created characters from League of Legends with the Kuro AI Realistic model and uploaded a comparison image with the real character, and this can go viral very quickly. These and 1001 more strategies you can set up over time, and who knows, maybe you'll find a really good one.
I hope you liked the Guide. From here, I encourage you to use the link properly and responsibly, not to spam it, and to follow the rules of the sites you participate in, always without bothering others!
Thanks and welcome to KURO!

2024.01.19 19:17 Block-Busted MMW: Disney will completely cease to exist early this year.

You see, two very well-respected investing firms named Ancora and The Pershing Square Foundation, led by a very well-respected investor named Bill Ackman, has joined forces with Peltz/Trian/Perlmutter, all of which are most beloved and best-respected folks among Disney investors/shareholders, in Disney proxy war, meaning that the chance of Peltz/Trian/PerlmutteAncora/Ackman completely taking over Disney and becoming majority shareholder or even taking every single Disney shares is now at 100%:
Nelson Peltz’s Fight for Disney Board Seats Gets New Ally in Investment Firm Ancora Holdings
The boutique firm issued a public letter supporting the activist investor’s efforts
Nelson Peltz has a new ally in his efforts to get a seat on the Disney board: the activist investor Ancora.
The boutique investment firm, which typically focuses on family wealth and asset management, penned a letter to fellow Disney shareholders supporting Peltz and his firm, Trian Fund Management in the quest for access to the boardroom.
“We believe Disney is saying the right things about restructuring and transforming the enterprise,” Ancora Holdings Group Chairman and CEO Frederick DiSanto and Ancora Alternatives President James Chadwick wrote in the letter dated Tuesday. “Nonetheless, the addition of a shareholder representative or investor-designated directors to the board can help ensure that these efforts are carried out in the most effective way.”
Hoping to “avert an election contest following a year of distractions and disappointing performance” the letter called for shareholders to encourage the board “to pursue a viable compromise” with Peltz and Trian, the letter said.
Disney last week roundly rebuffed Peltz’s latest effort to obtain board seats for Trian, maintaining that the effort is rooted in former Marvel Entertainment chairman Ike Perlmutter’s “longstanding personal agenda” against Disney CEO Bob Iger.
Perlmutter has joined his considerable stake in Disney stock, about 25 million shares, with Trian’s holdings of about 8 million shares, in the campaign to place Peltz and allies on the board.
Peltz renewed his fight with Disney after the company’s quarterly results were released last month, after backing off in February, when Iger announced sweeping cuts of $3 billion, including 7,000 layoffs at The House of Mouse.
But despite a fiscal fourth-quarter report that showed gains in Disney+ subscribers , revenue growth of 5% and earnings per share that topped Wall Street expectations, Peltz and Trian found continued fault with Iger’s leadership and the languishing Disney stock price.
Ancora, which has previously joined other activist campaigns, has now joined the fight, even though it did not disclose how much Disney stock it holds.
“A degree of shareholder-driven change is certainly warranted in Disney’s boardroom following an extended period of absentminded governance, ineffective succession planning, polarizing actions and sustained value destruction,” the firm’s letter states. “Many of Disney’s current directors and executives bear responsibility for lapses that have undermined the company’s positioning in the exceedingly competitive and ever-changing entertainment world.
“While it has been argued that challenges largely stem from the tenure of Bob Chapek, the board was in the driver’s seat before, during and after that time,” it continues. “The upshot is that Disney shareholders have incurred meaningful losses,” and the company has “dramatically underperformed the S&P 500 Media & Entertainment Index” the letter states.
It also accuses the board of overseeing “a deterioration of what was once the most unifying brand in the world,” by “allowing Disney to devote shareholders’ resources to a number of politicized initiatives.” It does not specify what those initiatives are, but the implicit suggestion is Disney’s fight with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
“The Company is increasingly dividing – rather than delighting – a growing number of consumers,” the letter states, citing a recent poll that found Disney is the fifth most polarizing brand in the world, right behind the disgraced and collapsed crypto exchange FTX.
“Disney’s board faces a number of pivotal decisions over the next 12 to 24 months as it rebuilds consumer trust and oversees a complex transformation that includes an optimization of the streaming segment, a direct-to-consumer pivot for ESPN, the evolution of the Company’s film studios and a growth plan for parks,” the letter continued. “The board will also once again need to engage in critical succession planning. Having a sizable owner in the boardroom to bring the market’s perspective and serve as one of many voices would only benefit shareholders. While this type of director may not always be needed at Disney, we contend it is the right addition at this key moment in time.”
The letter also slapped back at the investment firm Blackwells Capital, another large shareholder that last week urged Peltz to end what it called his “ego-driven campaign.” Ancora called the firm’s principal, Jason Aintabi, “a publicity-seeking greenmailer with a questionable personal and business history” who opposes Peltz’s efforts despite having “made billions of dollars over many decades” through shareholder activism.

Bill Ackman Jumps To Musk's Defense Over Anti-Semitism Controversy, Pledges To Stay Invested In X: 'Earth Is Fortunate...'
Tesla CEO Elon Musk, recently criticized for endorsing anti-Semitic comments and lashing out at advertisers choosing to pull out of advertising on his social media platform, found support from fund manager Bill Ackman.
What Happened: Ackman, expressing his views on social media platform X, owned by Musk, defended the billionaire entrepreneur’s commitment to free speech and praised his recent interview at the New York Times DealBook Summit.
“Musk is a free speech absolutist which I respect,” Ackman wrote.
Ackman said his firm, which invested in Twitter’s privatization via The Pershing Square (OTC:PSHZF) Foundation, intends to maintain its interest in X and support companies advertising on the platform.
“Whether we make a profit on our investment is not important to us as we never intend to sell our interest.”
In the interview, Musk criticized advertisers who abandoned the platform over the anti-Semitic content controversy, asserting that he and X were being treated unfairly compared to other social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
Ackman argued that X is targeted due to its perceived competition with other media organizations and because articles mentioning Musk, especially amid controversies, attract more clicks. He said that even Walt Disney Co (NYSE:DIS) suspended ads on X under media pressure, despite its heavy investment in Chinese-owned social media platform TikTok.
“If Bob Iger would carefully examine the facts, he would likely continue to advertise on X, but Disney caves to public pressure rather than do the right thing,” Ackman said. “I am sure Nelson Peltz can fix this when he joins the Disney board.”
Addressing Musk’s response to the anti-Semitic post, Ackman, who is Jewish, stated that Musk did not exhibit any anti-Semitic intent. He supported Musk’s clarification during the interview that Jews often support oppressed groups due to their history.
“And he [Musk] is correct in saying that Jews should rethink support for organizations that seek their elimination,” he added.
Ackman expressed gratitude for X’s insulation from external influence. ” “Earth is fortunate that @X is owned by an individual that is largely insulated from financial and other influence,” he said.
However, he suggested that a “carefully governed trust” could be a more suitable long-term owner.
While Musk thanked Ackman for his support, X is expected to incur losses of $75 million in advertising revenue by year-end due to the suspension of ads by some advertisers, according to a New York Times report.

But Peltz’s effort does have its share of supporters. Bill Ackman, the influential hedge fund manager and founder of Pershing Square Capital Management, was seen at the Dealbook Summit carefully listening to Iger, Elon Musk and other interviewees. Iger’s remarks about Disney pulling its ads from Musk’s X (Twitter) seemed particularly troubling to Ackman, who has expressed disapproval of “Disney [caving] to public pressure” regarding X while investing heavily in TikTok.
“If Bob Iger would carefully examine the facts, he would likely continue to advertise on X, but Disney caves to public pressure rather than do the right thing,” Ackman wrote on X. “Meanwhile Disney invests heavily on TikTok, likely alongside videos of kids teaching other teenagers to be anorexic and worse. I am sure Nelson Peltz can fix this when he joins the Disney board.”

It's obvious that literally every single Disney investors/shareholder are supporting Peltz/Trian/PerlmutteAncora while BlackWells Capital is barging in as well:
Disney Inks Deal With ValueAct While Blackwells Capital Nominates Board Candidates Amid Peltz Proxy Battle
Disney and CEO Bob Iger secured new support from activist investor ValueAct Capital in the company’s proxy fight with Nelson Peltz.
The Mouse House also got an unsolicited vote of confidence, in a roundabout way, from Blackwells Capital, which said it is nominating three candidates to the board to rival those picked by Peltz’s Trian Fund Management in a looming proxy fight — although Blackwells called the media company’s agreement with ValueAct “a disappointing defensive move by Disney that does not solve for anything.”
Disney on Tuesday announced an “information sharing” deal with ValueAct, an investor in Disney, which ensures the investment firm will support the company’s recommended slate of nominees for election to the Disney board at the 2024 annual meeting. Under Disney’s confidentiality agreement with ValueAct, the media conglomerate will provide information to the investment firm and consult with ValueAct on “strategic matters,” including through meetings with the Disney board and management.
Separately, Blackwells Capital, another Disney shareholder, announced that it will nominate three candidates — Jessica Schell, a former Warner Bros. and NBCUniversal exec; Tribeca Film Festival co-founder Craig Hatkoff; and TaskRabbit founder Leah Solivan — for election to the board of directors of Disney, which is expected to be held this spring. In announcing the trio of candidates, Blackwells slammed “Peltz’s reprise of a contrived campaign that is disconnected from the needs of Disney stakeholders.”
Disney confirmed that Blackwells Capital provided notice of its intent to nominate the three individuals for election to the company’s board at the 2024 annual meeting of shareholders. Disney said the board’s governance and nominating committee “will review the proposed Blackwells nominees and provide a recommendation to the board as part of its governance process.”
In late November, Peltz renewed his proxy battle with Iger and the company’s board and announced plans to nominate two directors. That came after Disney named Morgan Stanley CEO James Gorman and former Sky chief Jeremy Darroch as new directors.
Peltz’s Trian hedge fund subsequently announced it would nominate Peltz and former Disney CFO James Rasulo as candidates for directors of the Disney board at the annual shareholders meeting. Trian controls about $3 billion worth of Disney’s shares, 78% of which are owned by former Marvel Entertainment chairman Ike Perlmutter (whom Disney alleges has a “longstanding personal agenda” against Iger).
Jason Aintabi, Blackwells’ chief investment officer, said in a statement, “We call on Mr. Peltz to end his peacocking so that Disney can focus on its bright future, and not be dragged backward in time. Disney’s current leadership is invaluable to its shareholders, and our three exceptional candidates are being nominated along with a business proposal specifying that any incumbent director outvoted by Blackwells’ nominees be immediately added back to the board following the 2024 Annual Meeting.”
Blackwells’ campaign “provides shareholders a necessary alternative to what would otherwise be a solipsistic sideshow,” Aintabi added. Blackwells owns about $5 million worth of Disney shares.
At the same time, Aintabi called Disney’s agreement with ValueAct “a disappointing defensive move by Disney that does not solve for anything. Bringing all shareholders a real and better choice for directors is the necessary act that will support the future success of Disney.”
In response to the Blackwells announcement, a rep for Trian said in a statement, “Trian welcomes other shareholders attempting to help fix this iconic but wayward company. We believe long-suffering Disney shareholders need Nelson Peltz and Jay Rasulo as independent voices and catalysts for much-needed change on what’s been a chronically underperforming board.”
To that, Blackwells’ Aintabi responded, “We are gratified that Trian sees the merit in Blackwells nominees given they are independent, have the relevant experience and present themselves without an agenda. Our view remains that Disney shareholders do not need Nelson Peltz or Jay Rasulo on the board; if anyone is needed it’s the Blackwells’ nominees.”
ValueAct, in announcing its agreement with the Disney board, touted its “extensive experience investing in media and technology companies navigating significant business transformations,” including Spotify, the New York Times, 21st Century Fox, Nintendo, Microsoft, Adobe and Salesforce.
Iger said in a statement, “ValueAct Capital has a track record of collaboration and cooperation with the companies it invests in, and its co-CEO Mason Morfit has been very constructive in the conversations we’ve had over the past year. We welcome their input as long-term shareholders.”
Morfit added: “Disney is the world’s leading entertainment company. It has the best intellectual property, sports brand, and parks and experiences assets in the industry. As legacy technologies transition to digital platforms, we believe Disney can lead the media industry forward. We could not be more excited to partner with Bob and the board to help create long-term sustainable shareholder value.”

...and that's why Peltz/Perlmutter will easily take over Disney since they're the most beloved folks among Disney investors while ValueAct/Iger are the most despised. In fact, here are conclusive proofs of that:
Bob Iger gets 'C' rating for Disney return: Analyst
Bob Iger's return to Disney (DIS) is one of Yahoo Finance's top stories of 2023. Since reclaiming the helm as CEO, Iger cut costs and restructured the business into three divisions —Entertainment; Parks, Experiences and Products; and ESPN —as he looks to make Disney's streaming business profitable.
Needham & Co. Senior Media & Internet Analyst Laura Martin, who covered the stock during Iger's first tenure as CEO, said she would give the media executive a 'C' for his first year back at Disney.
“It's hard to see him stumble in the first year… but in fairness to him, mostly what he's been doing is reversing things Bob Chapek did the prior two years,” Martin told Yahoo Finance Live. “It’s unclear he's been able to move forward at all rather than undoing the one bad decision he made in leadership, which was to hand the reins to Bob Chapek.”
Watch the video above to hear Martin discuss Iger's return, Peltz's battle for the board, and what the company could do to change her 'hold' rating on the stock.

And Laura, a near-term issues seems to be all of these activist battles. How should Bob Iger approach handling someone like Nelson Peltz, and perhaps others. LAURA MARTIN: So I think what's great for public shareholders about somebody like Nelson Peltz is when Bob Iger comes out and says, we're going to spend $60 billion on the theme park over 10 years, that might be great for him. But public shareholders care about this year and next year because they're going to be retired in 10 years.
So I think what Nelson Peltz forces Bob Iger to do is justify the cost structure at the entertainment assets and the TV assets, compared to the revenue growth, which is single digits to negative. And it really forces him to cut costs. I think it's a primary reason they're going to cut a lot of content costs on the streaming side because they can't cut them on the sports side because their rights fees keep going up.
So I think what Nelson Peltz does is force Bob Iger to, basically, fire more people, which unless he can grow the revenue faster on the, let's call it the core business, the traditional business, he needs to cut the overhead here.
SEANA SMITH: So Laura, it sounds like, if I'm hearing you right, you think that maybe some of the changes that would be enacted by Nelson Peltz would actually better position Disney then for the future, and maybe make you a little bit more positive on the name.
LAURA MARTIN: I would say that Nelson Peltz is far more short-term oriented than Bob Iger who's a business builder. And I think public shareholders are more aligned with that kind of time frame.
BRAD SMITH: So with that considered, Laura, I mean, we've heard Disney talking about the thousands of acres of land that they could develop on, building out more of the parks, resorts experiences in other parts of the world. That still looks like money going out the door. So at what point do you think Disney is ultimately going to be able to deliver on this, and perhaps satisfy some of the investors?
LAURA MARTIN: So I think this is a tale of two cities right now, meaning that the parks are really healthy. So I think Wall Street is supportive of investing money in the parks because the return on capital of money into the parks is going to be positive. But I do think the traditional, like ESPN linear business and the studios have had underwhelming results, meaning, when the market's giving them capital, they're not actually over delivering the cost of capital.
So in order to do that, you have to cut costs. So I just think that the economics of the streaming/linear TV business are broken right now for the whole industry, not just for the Walt Disney Company, for the whole industry. So the industry needs to consolidate. It needs to rip out costs. It needs to spend less on content. And I think getting out of India is going to help Disney. They've announced that reliance. And Disney are in, I guess, a handshake deal right now. I think that's helpful. And I think, when they launch ESPN, the app, that's going to be helpful also.

...and Peltz has literally turned every single Disney investors/shareholders to his side with his ideas aside from ValueAct:
Nelson Peltz states his case for joining the Disney board
KEY POINTS
  1. Activist investor Nelson Peltz is stating his case for joining Disney’s board.
  2. Peltz’s Trian Fund Management, in formally nominating Peltz and former Disney CFO Jay Rasulo to the media giant’s board of directors Thursday, made a list of initiatives and performance targets they’d pursue if elected.
  3. The proxy battle comes as CEO Bob Iger tries to streamline the sprawling media company to rein in spending and make its Disney+ streaming platform profitable.
Activist investor Nelson Peltz is stating his case for joining Disney's board.
Peltz’s Trian Fund Management, in formally nominating Peltz and former Disney Chief Financial Officer Jay Rasulo to the media giant’s board of directors Thursday, made a list of initiatives and performance targets they’d pursue if elected.
In a proxy filing, Peltz and Rasulo promised to “finally complete a successful CEO succession,” alluding to CEO Bob Iger’s consistent delaying of his retirement date and his return after the firing of former CEO Bob Chapek.
Trian also said it will “align management pay with performance,” calling out Iger’s $31.6 million pay package last year while Disney stock was little changed, underperforming the S&P 500 for 2023.
Trian also aims to target and achieve “Netflix-like margins” of 15% to 20% by 2027, with Peltz adding that he thinks Netflix is Disney’s biggest competition.
The proxy battle comes as Iger tries to streamline the sprawling media company to rein in spending and make its Disney+ streaming platform profitable. Iger has instituted broad restructuring, including thousands of layoffs.
Peltz reiterated in a CNBC “Squawk Box” interview Thursday morning that he believes Disney’s current board oversight is “awful.”
“They said I have no media experience — I don’t claim to have any,” Peltz said Thursday. “But I will tell you, I don’t think they have much media experience.”
Disney has thus far rejected Peltz’s push to join the board.
In the proxy filing, Peltz also touched on the future of ESPN, which he called the “crown jewel” of the company, with the goal of creating a solidified and detailed payback period and business plan for building out the platform. Iger has previously said Disney is prioritizing turning ESPN into the “preeminent” digital sports platform.
Peltz called for a board-led review of studio creativity to “restore leadership accountability” and reclaim the company’s leading box office position.
Peltz and Rasulo aim to execute a clear vision for the brand’s theme parks, targeting “high-single digit operating income growth,” according to the filing.
Peltz told CNBC on Thursday that he paid a visit to Disney World last week.
“It was fascinating because … we didn’t have any special passes. We didn’t have any tour guides. … Everybody was nice. I mean, Magic Kingdom and the Hollywood Studios — terrific,” he said. “All the employees were smiling, and that’s probably in large part because they didn’t own any Disney stock.”

Nelson Peltz on Disney proxy fight: The company is not being run properly, board oversight is awful
Nelson Peltz, Trian Partners founding partner, joins ‘Squawk on the Street’ to discuss the latest developments on the Disney proxy fight, his thoughts on CEO Bob Iger’s performance, and more.
https://www.cnbc.com/video/2024/01/18/nelson-peltz-on-disney-proxy-fight-the-company-is-not-being-run-properly-board-oversight-is-awful.html
Nelson Peltz is launching a blitz on Disney. Here’s what he says is next in his proxy fight
KEY POINTS
  1. Trian will release a dense white paper explaining its full case for why investors should elect Nelson Peltz and former Disney CFO Jay Rasulo in the coming weeks.
  2. Peltz said in a CNBC interview that he and Rasulo will be like “Batman and Robin” if they get elected to the Disney board.
  3. Earlier Thursday, Peltz spoke to CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street.”
Disney and its investors are going to start hearing a lot from activist investor Nelson Peltz.
In the coming weeks, Peltz’s Trian Fund Management plans to post on X, formerly known as Twitter, and add content to its website RestoreTheMagic.com as a crescendo to launching a dense white paper explaining its case to add Peltz and former Disney Chief Financial Officer Jay Rasulo to Disney’s board. That paper will be released in a couple of weeks, Peltz said in a CNBC interview after appearing on “Squawk on the Street” earlier Thursday.
In February, Trian plans to meet with proxy solicitors Glass Lewis and ISS, after which it will begin lobbying shareholders through March and up to Disney’s planned annual shareholder meeting. Trian expects the gathering will be in April. Disney’s annual meeting last year was April 3.
Trian filed a preliminary proxy statement Thursday, which outlined some of the reasons Peltz believes Disney shareholders should elect him and Rasulo to the board as they push to boost its stock performance. Those include getting Disney streaming profit margins to 15% to 20% by 2027. Disney’s streaming business currently loses money and won’t break even until later this year, CEO Bob Iger has said.
Trian wants Disney to be more transparent with its businesses. Disney plans to launch a direct-to-consumer ESPN service either later this year or in 2025 as the sports network’s traditional cable subscription model fades. Before it debuts, Trian wants specific short-term profitability targets to ensure it’s a viable business.
“What they really need is accountability,” said Peltz.
After it reports earnings Feb. 7, Disney will release its definitive proxy materials, which include the date of the annual meeting.
Typically, both Trian and Disney will then make their arguments to proxy advisory services Glass Lewis and ISS, followed by solicitation of shareholders and recommendations by the firms. That advice is critical because it can sway large investors and index funds. Neither side usually knows who is winning until days or hours before the annual meeting because those massive investors often vote late in the process.
The dynamic duo
Trian has targeted the Disney board for being too connected to Iger, who has five times renewed his contract to push back his retirement. Iger has said he plans to leave Disney in 2026, and has been actively seeking a successor since he returned to Disney at the end of 2022.
Peltz has been on several boards, including Proctor & Gamble and Mondelez, which have named new CEOs. Peltz said his success in finding top executives is part of why he should join Disney’s board.
“I do a lot of executive searches,” said Peltz. “I’m like a headhunter.”
While Peltz outlined why he feels Disney’s stock performance can improve with his presence on the board, he’s still just one person. Even if Rasulo is elected, they’ll still be only two voices on a Disney board Peltz has criticized for being in Iger’s pocket.
Still, Peltz said boards sometimes simply need to be jumpstarted by individuals who aren’t afraid to question longtime CEOs such as Iger.
“We’re going to be Batman and Robin,” Peltz said. “Boards can get turned around quickly if they start to hear some good points.”
https://www.cnbc.com/2024/01/18/nelson-peltz-outlines-plans-for-disney-proxy-battle.html
This is behind(?) paywall, but it's still very important:
What activist investor Nelson Peltz can bring to the board of underperforming Disney
Trian Partners co-founder and major Disney shareholder Nelson Peltz formally launched his battle for board seats Thursday — pushing for the right kinds of changes to fix the entertainment giant’s problems and lagging stock price.
https://www.cnbc.com/2024/01/18/what-activist-investor-nelson-peltz-can-bring-to-the-board-of-underperforming-disney.html
And when it comes to dividend, one guy is pointing this out:
they have about 1.8 billion shares outstanding, so it's roughly a $550 million payout. the last time they paid a dividend was 2019, and they paid out $0.88 per share; roughly 3x as much.
just to put in perspective, disney is going to lose about $500 million in november alone from the marvels and wish flops.
https://old.reddit.com/boxoffice/comments/187u045/disney_brings_back_its_dividend_after_threeyeakbh01np/
All of these and extra information that I've posted in the comment section are 100% conclusive proofs that Iger knows that he will lose the proxy war for certain and will be ousted and get replaced by Peltz and/or Perlmutter as the next CEO, especially since Iger is the most despised individual among every single Disney shareholders/investors while Peltz/Trian is/are the most beloved folks among every single Disney shareholders/investors. Those who claim that Peltz/Perlmutter can't become Disney CEOs themselves, they will become Disney CEOs because they will fire every single Disney board members and replace them entirely with Trian members and Perlmutter's goons. How? By bringing in a puppet CEO whom they will control very easily:
Pelz is gonna handpick your buddy Igers replacement very soon. No more pandering anymore, enjoy.
https://old.reddit.com/boxoffice/comments/18d46xg/elon_musk_goes_off_on_disney_ceo_bob_iger_saying/kceom7n/
I said pick the replacement, doubt they will run it themselves (at least not for long) but it’ll prevent some Iger loyalist hack
https://old.reddit.com/boxoffice/comments/18d46xg/elon_musk_goes_off_on_disney_ceo_bob_iger_saying/kcep6v5/
Highly doubt Chapek would come back, and Iger’s words are meaningless at this point. Probably will be pull someone cutthroat that will stop employees from dictating the company, maybe a video game executive or something
https://old.reddit.com/boxoffice/comments/18d46xg/elon_musk_goes_off_on_disney_ceo_bob_iger_saying/kceuqx9/
Once they make a video game executive their puppet CEO, all of these will happen overnight and they will become the majority Disney shareholder or even own every single Disney shares.
The problem is, Peltz has a history of completely hacking off General Electric until there was nothing left and did the same thing to DuPont and a lot of other companies:
He’s an activist investor with a history of taking over companies and gutting them to a husk of themselves (or dissolving them altogether) to make himself and his cronies wealthier plus he’s buddies with former Marvel chair and CEO Ike Perlmutter who was ousted from the board last year and Perlmutter was the one who held up movies like Black Panther and Black Widow from being made because he claimed movies about POC and women didn’t sell toys. He’s also the father of actors Nicola and Will Peltz and his daughter reportedly doesn’t fall far from the tree when it comes to toxic behavior
https://old.reddit.com/entertainment/comments/199rech/nelson_peltz_nominates_himself_and_jay_rasulo_to/kiiicdw/
Yep, just like Dupont. Nelson ‘Putz’ will enrich himself and leave a hollow carcass. PoS.
https://old.reddit.com/entertainment/comments/199rech/nelson_peltz_nominates_himself_and_jay_rasulo_to/kii870h/
...and Perlmutter has a history of saying this:
If Disney's stock price keeps falling, Iger also has to worry about agitating more investors.
Iger is already tangling with ex-Marvel exec Ike Perlmutter, one of Disney's biggest individual shareholders, who has joined activist investor Peltz's fight to try to improve Disney's results by getting a bigger say over its strategy and operations.
Perlmutter has told people he wants to break up Disney as much as he can and gain control of some of the IP, and "people underestimate Ike at their peril," said a source familiar with Perlmutter's conversations.
Disney's largely liberal stance on hot-button social issues could bring out other activist investors with political as well as financial motivations, like Paul Singer of Elliott Investment Management, a big GOP donor. There are people who "would love to take down the 'woke' company," the source added.
https://www.businessinsider.com/bob-iger-ceo-disney-return-insiders-anxious-losing-faith-2023-11
...which is why all of these will happen early this year:
  1. Bob Iger, Pete Docter, Kevin Feige, Jennifer Lee, and Kathleen Kennedy will get fired immediately and Peltz/Perlmutter will become co-CEOs of Disney while the entire Disney board will be replaced with Trian members and Perlmutter's minions while Docter, Feige, and Lee will respectively be replaced by John Kricfalusi, Ethan Van Sciver, and Chris Savino.
  2. Literally every single upcoming Disney releases including Kingdomf of the Planet of the Apes, Inside Out 2, Deadpool 3, Elio, and Avatar 3 will be completely scrapped for tax write-offs.
  3. Pixar will be sold to Sony (which then will be shut down entirely), Walt Disney Animation Studios will be sold to Comcast (which then will be shut down entirely), Lucasfilm and 20th Century Studios will be sold to The Daily Wire, and Marvel will be kept by Perlmutter himself.
  4. Kevin Feige, Pete Docter, and Jennifer Lee will be completely blacklisted from Hollywood by Peltz/Trian/PerlmutteAncora for spreading "woke and pedophilic agenda" to children. Feige and Docter will flee to Japan where the former will become a producer of Godzilla films and other Toho monster films while the latter will become a full-time animator at Studio Ghibli. Lee, on the other hand, will never be heard from ever again. Ironically, Kathleen Kennedy will be spared due to her status as a veteran producer.
  5. Every single Disney theme parks will be demolished to make ways for something else. In places of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and Shanghai Disney Resort, state prisons will be built, in place of Disneyland Paris and Disneyland Resort California, Russian propaganda centers will be built to improve the reputation of Russia, and in place of Tokyo Disney Resort, hentai clubs will be built. As for Walt Disney World, once it's demolished, one half of it will be replaced with hentai clubs that also perform conversion therapy for LGBTQ+ folks while the other half will be replaced with state prisons as Ron DeSantis always wanted. All Disney stores will be shut down immediately and give ways to anime stores or adult stores instead.
It should also be remembered that far-right bullshitters on YouTube praised David Zaslav when he scrapped Batgirl because they perceived it as him waging war against "woke garbages". Peltz/Trian/PerlmutteAncora will do the same thing for the entire upcoming Disney releases to appease those same far-right bullshitters and spite IgeFeige and no one will be able to stop them since they will have the total control of Disney and its boards, meaning that they can just ignore shareholders even if they don't like any of those decisions that they pull off. Rermember, Peltz/Perlmutter would be CEOs and the board would be filled entirely with Trian members and Perlmutter's goons. After all, every single Disney shareholders/investors on Reddit want Peltz and/or Perlmutter to become the end next CEOs based on what they’ve said and how they are getting upvoted for supporting them (which further proves that Peltz and Perlmutter are most beloved folks among Disney investors/shareholders), not to mention that everyone these days (especially kids and teenagers and Gen Z in general) despise Pixar and anything Disney-related in general and love anime, so they would be more than happy to see Disney itself disappearing entirely and Florida would not be harmed at all since getting rid of Disney entirely seems to be what Ron DeSantis wants anyway and they’ll always have Universal to fall back to/on since people say that Disney theme parks are some of the worst theme parks in the world while Universal Studios is some of the best theme parks in the world.
I advise you all to read everything here and extra information that I've posted in the comment section carefully before making any rebuttals.
P.S. Having said all those, I sincerely hope that at least most of these are just my outbursts of paranoia.

2024.01.15 05:24 Runepup Rules Update

As always, its a good idea to familiarize yourself with the rules.
While they remain mostly unchanged, we have condensed a couple and added to a couple others. The changes are in bold.
  1. Anonymity (unchanged) - All stories should be anonymous. All names should be made up or censored for the sake of the story. No specific board/site/sub should be named. You can name the genre or type of board, however. (ie: 'When playing on a superhero board...') You should also not link to the site/board/sub. Screenshots of interactions require you to censor the full username and profile picture, Discord now included.
  2. Not Enough Information (Minor edit) - Make sure each post has enough information that the 'bad' is clear. Whether this is specific examples or rehashing of tried and true examples of bad, the bad of the RP should be the focus of the story. We shouldn't have to guess what makes the situation/screenshot bad.
  3. NSFW (unchanged) - Posts that contain adult content should be marked NSFW.
  4. No Doxxing (Updated) - Do you know where the bad comes from? Do you know who the bad is? Good! We don't care. Don't post announcing it. Don't "dox" the individual committing the bad. Don't point out the sub/forum/location of the bad. Comments requesting someone doxx the individual will result in a one week ban. Doxxing includes outing usernames or any identifying information that could be used to find the individual. Not just RW information.
  5. Must be roleplay related (Minor edit) - This sub is about roleplaying. Your bad should center around the RP specifically. This can include OOC interactions, but should be specific to the roleplay environment. Tabletop, Play by post, LARPing, etc are all welcome. But bear in mind that the bad might change based on the environment.
  6. Be nice (Minor update) - This sub does not allow any racism, homophobia, transphobia, or generally dickish behavior. "Dickish behavior" is usually as simple as name-calling. We want to hear about bad roleplayers, not see you be a bad person. Please also remember that just because you hate something, doesn't mean everyone else has to. This includes kinkshaming and genrehating.
  7. No asking for recommendations (unchanged) - This sub is not for recommendations of where to find partners. This gdoc has resources for finding partners. There are subs on the sidebar for finding partners. /WrittenRoleplay is available for advertisements or hunts.
  8. No reposting removed content (unchanged) - Please do not repost screenshots or snippets of previously locked or removed posts/comments without moderator approval. This includes Unddit links. Breaking this rule will result in a permanant ban.
  9. Do Not Interact with the Bad (Minor update) - While we cannot prohibit people from acquiring the source of the bad through DMs, we do not allow people to harass or otherwise pester the bad. Think of it like a zoo: You can see the bad, watch the bad, but you cannot feed the bad or pet it. Read the little information placard and move on. If the bad makes themselves known in the thread, do not dogpile them.
  10. No ghosting topics outside of the weekly sticky (unchanged) - While we have previously allowed stories about ghosters, ghosting is not, in itself, bad RP. It is frequently used as a tactic to prevent yourself from having to deal with creepy and unwanted behavior, and so we no longer allow posts centered around this topic. You may post ghosting stories to the weekly sticky.
  11. No mentioning of other RP subs (unchanged) - Have a terrible experience at a specific sub? Sucks, it doesn't fit in this sub. Have a great experience at a different sub? Wonderful! /greatrperstories would love to hear about it. This includes complaints about being banned, where you encountered the Bad or any terrible experience about them. "Another sub" is enough of a name.
  12. No minors and ERP (unchanged) - Pedophilia isn't bad RP. It's just bad. We don't want posts about someone looking for underage smut. We don't want debates about whether minors should be allowed to write smut. Minors shouldn't be anywhere around erotica. End of story. Report the post where you found it, don't repost it here.
  13. No sexting/asterix RP (unchanged) - Posts should be roleplay hobby oriented. This is not the place for your one liners to get your jollies. This includes asterix RP with a purely sexual intention. This also includes hentai focused RP and low quality ads designed solely to attract low quality, quick one liner posts to masturbate to. This does NOT mean ERP is banned.
  14. No low quality/low effort posts (Updated) - We shouldn't have to guess what makes the situation/screenshot bad. No posts about a conversation starting with 'hey' or 'wanna RP' if that is the only bad present. They are as boring to read as they are to receive.
Feel free to discuss, ask questions, make suggestions, etc, on this thread. What topics would you like to see banned? What threads are you sick of seeing? What do you wish there was more of and how can we make that happen?
And, while we're at it, should we allow subs specifically in our network to be mentioned freely? (/WrittenRoleplay /GreatRPerStories /LongLostRoleplay /RoleplayResource ) Given the above rules, they would likely only come up in specific scenarios (like someone talking about a buddy they lost touch with, for example.) But I like opinions other than my own, so discuss away!
