- What do you reccomend for a complete noob? Any shops or sets? I've been looking through Blick's website a bit and have a few things saved but not purchased yet.
- Can you print over a ribbed fabric? Think a wifebeater tanktop. I've tried to look it up but everything comes back for screenprinting. I could guess you'd stretch the fabric some so it gets in the crevices, but I'm obviously not sure.
- What brand & type of ink do you reccomend for fabric printing? I'm not too picky on color, just about what works & looks best, and lasts longest.

I live at home with my family who always find ways to make me feel like garbage. Living here is just walking on eggshells and I can’t relax.
My friends all live super far away, some I’ve lost touch with, some I talk to online, some I play dnd with over discord weekly. My best friend is the only one I see in person but it’s only about 4-5 times a year cause I have work and he has school.
Everything in my area is closing, you need to drive at least 30 minutes to get groceries let alone do anything, so meeting people is difficult.
I can tell at my job I’m basically a background character to everyone. They only seek me out if they need something and anytime I try to talk and joke around with them it’s super awkward, and my anxiety doesn’t help. I also have a physical issue that I’m embarrassed about that limits things I’m able to do/how I interact with people. I’m in therapy but it’s slow going, I’m making progress though, so that’s good.

So, I booked my ticket online, I am wanting to know if they will print out my ticket or do I have to do it myself when I get to the bus station because my date is will be leaving is June 27th but also I have special needs because even if I had to do it myself I wouldn’t know how as long as they can accept it which I am really looking forward to seeing my sister, my mom and nephew if everything works out because I am heading to Atlanta.

My wife and I have been together for a while and married for 7 years. Have two kids under 3.5 and they are great. One is gonna be 1 in a few months. Some things to deal with them here and there but nothing too drastic.
Overall, I think we work good as a team together. But as a whole, we have different approaches to how we deal with adversity, mental health, and general everyday issues. As we have gotten more responsibilities and as we face things that are more out of our control, it’s been really draining and I’m just very sad to be honest.
The main issue comes to how overwhelmed we feel mentally and physically from our responsibilities and what we prioritize. I will preface that we split everything 50/50 and at times, I would say there were situations where I take on a bigger load. I do all the grocery shopping,cooking and cleanup, deal with bills, handle activities for our oldest, etc. She does all the laundry, handles our youngest (although I have started to do more there), and order clothes and necessities.
On the chores front, she always seems overwhelmed and not happy. I try to ask if I can help with laundry and she says no. She also complains that the house is not where she likes it and there is some clutter, etc. Our house is tidy and yes it has clutter, but what house doesn’t. She says it really annoys her and it should be a priority. I get it but I get frustrated by how much she obsesses over it. I try to help but I don’t think it should be top priority.
She also gets annoyed that there are administrative stuff that have been lingering. I told her I plan to take care of it but I can only do so much and we should be ok that something is always not going to be done. Like I literally wake up with kids, work, hang out with kids, put them to bed, clean up after dinner, and then cook for next day. If I have time, I try to take care of stuff but there is only so much time in the day. And then she attacks me if I go to a lunch once in a blue moon with a friend and saying that it could have been used to take care of stuff. She also spends time during day worrying or researching stuff for home while I can’t do that. I have a demanding job that partially pays for our good life. I know her performance at her job has fallen due to this pattern.
I will add that overall, we have a great life. We have a full-time nanny, grandparents near by ( not the most involved but will always help if asked), and we have hybrid work schedule. We also make a good salary that affords us to buy conveniences. Even with that, she just always seems so overwhelmed. She also snaps at me for the most random things. I misplaced our sons sippy cup and she snapped at me how everyone always misplaces it. When she makes simple mistakes, I always give her benefit of the doubt and brush it off as nothing. Because I really don’t care. You make a tiny mistake, we move on. When I make a simple mistake, I don’t know what’s going to happen. In general, when something bad happens, my first thought is how she is going to react. When I got Covid a while ago, she was so miserable because I had to quarantine and she was stuck with our kid for 5 days ( we had one at that time).
Mentally, there are also some issues. She rarely looks happy and always thinks of the worst case scenario. Even though we try not to compare to others, and I really don’t, she always does and worries how our kids are doing. Our oldest is fantastic but has some sensory needs that we are working through. She frequently points that out when they go somewhere alone. She also always assumes the worst. If one of our kids has something, she thinks it could be the worst malady possible. She is also very impacted by politics and national events. I know she reads a lot of news and goes down the rabbit hole sometimes on world events that concern her.
Overall, I know she tries to be a great mom ( and she is) but I just want her to be at peace and have some gratitude. Our problems and responsibilities are so manageable in the grand scheme of things.
Lastly, I just feel sad as a husband. I just feel neglected a lot of times and alone. I really love her and love doing things for her. It makes me so happy and I really ask for nothing in return. I just like doing it. I make her breakfast ahead of time when she goes into office, drive her to bus stop for work, try to find nice things she likes at the store, plan date nights, etc. I love planning her birthday or Mother’s Day. On the other hand, I know she wants to be there for me but I just think she feels too overwhelmed to be there. I didn’t even get a birthday card last year. She said she tried to order one but couldn’t get one. She orders so many things online, I’m sure she could have gotten something. I even would have been fine if it was later. We need a replacement key and have never lost the key before so we don’t know what to do. My safe is newer has details for getting a new key inside the door but his does not. I've finally got a kickboxing build feeling good for online career and Wonderboy's stance has been key. A big problem with trying to kickbox is that the lvl 1 and 2 roundhouse kicks have terrible animations. Level 3 is when you get the good animation but it takes a long time to get there and its hard to land lots of roundhouses against good players when the animation stinks. I don't really enjoy wonderboy's stance that much (I don't like the advancing straight), but for those who don't know you do get animation overrides for roundhouse kicks (except for the lead roundhouse to the body). Now you can whip people with the Thompson kick animations until you get your kicks up to level 3.

Two weeks ago I traded in my Google Pixel 8 for the S24 Ultra. I loved the Pixel 8, but after a botched repair, some performance issues, and overheating in mild May weather, I was done putting up with the phone. I traded it in (with trade in values being garbage), and got this S24 Ultra in the natural titanium color. It's been two weeks of wildly varying usage, from moderate use on normal days to heavy usage in the hot desert sun whilst on vacation. Here are my thoughts:
Hardware - I loved the distinctive design of Pixel phones, and the build quality was pretty good for the money. The S24 Ultra's seems a little bland and character-less by comparison. However the build quality and hardware is amazing. The titanium frame feels nice with the matte finish and the frosted glass back looks absolutely stunning with the Natural Titanium color. I'm using a plain black OtterBox case which covers it all up 😭. The antireflective screen is actually amazing, Samsung did a terrible job marketing it. And going by JerryRigEverything, it'll hold up pretty well too in terms of scratches and nicks. The bright 2600 nit display is insane and I've had no issues whatsoever with it not getting bright enough. I thought the phone would feel extremely unwieldy and big coming from a comparably small phone, but it's honestly not been an issue. It definitely feels larger in the pocket but I've adapted to it. The S pen is a nice perk and it's come in use a few times already but it's not something I'd miss.
Performance - The S24 Ultra, as expected, performs flawlessly in all usage so far. I was taking photos in direct sunlight in the hot desert sun (~107°F) and while it did get pretty darn toasty, it never lagged or gave me an error. The Pixel when it got hot would start lagging like crazy, taking ages to capture a photo and a solid 5 seconds to launch an app fully. Applications boot up noticably faster than my Pixel 8, and can keep more apps open in the background (testament to the extra RAM I think). Clearly the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (for Galaxy 🙄) is better than Google's Tensor G3.
Cameras - Here's where I'm let down a little bit. The S24 Ultra struggles with noise, motion, and high dynamic range situations where the Pixel had no issues whatsoever. For instance, taking pictures of my tuxedo cat by a window, the Pixel exposes the cat very nicely without any overexposure from the outside. The S24 Ultra however cannot accurately expose the cat and severely underexposes him while also slightly blowing out the bright outdoor portion. The pictures are kind of unusable to me. If there's any motion in the photo, the S24 Ultra has extreme trouble dealing with it while the Pixel doesn't have any motion blur issues at all. Additionally, there's a shocking amount of noise/graininess in every photo that isn't in a bright outdoor area. Sometimes it's bad enough to be seen without zooming in any. I love the telephoto lenses however, they've come in use so many times that I'm not sure how I made it without them. I was initially worried about the low MP of the 3x telephoto lens but it looks fantastic with plenty of detail. Additionally the 12MP selfie camera is miles better than the poor 10.5MP one used on the Pixel. It captures way more detail and makes me look flattering. Video quality is also very noticeably improved compared to the Pixel. The Pixel cannot take video, period. The S24 Ultra is not as good as an iPhone at video capturing, but it's not bad either. Overall the cameras are very good but have some severe flaws that hopefully this upcoming July update will address.
Software - I'll be honest, I've never been a fan of Samsung's software, but this latest version has surprised me, in a good way. I like the light, transparent feel, and the animations look good as well, but not quite as bouncy and characterful as that Pixel. The lock screen customization and the AOD are very well implemented. The Pixel is surprisingly strict when it comes to customization, especially with the lock screen and AOD. I did however immediately switch to Gboard and Google Assistant/Gemini instead of the default Samsung services. They're both just superior. This is a small gripe, but the quick access tiles are pretty small and easy to miss. I often go into the quick Bluetooth settings menu to pair headphones, and it's far too easy to tap the button next to it or turn off Bluetooth when you're actually trying to long press it to access the quick settings menu. The other gripe is that to highlight a word in a group of text, I have to hold it whereas I would double tap it on the Pixel. I much prefer double tapping instead of holding down, as it's more accurate for me. Overall software has been a major surprise for me, and I've grown to like it a lot.
AI features - Honestly I couldn't really care less about these features, especially if it's something I have to pay for in the near future. Like Mrwhosetheboss said, it feels icky that Samsung very strongly marketed the AI as the highlight of the phones when it's actually a feature of Samsung's online servers. The magic editor is cool, but it's something I have to want specifically and have the time to mess with. None of the other features have been used really 😂 other than Circle-to-Search which is just an adapted version of Google Lens.
Conclusion - Overall it's a nice upgrade to the Pixel 8. Performance is significantly better and I've had no issues so far. The hardware feels fitting of the price premium and I love the Natural Titanium color so much. The cameras are a slight disappointment for me because I'm used to the sheer magic of Google's image processing. Software is not perfect, but I've come to like it a lot.
