Reviewsđź”—Powerful 28 Gauge Reloader for Framing Nailerhttps://preview.redd.it/3y3ckt2kua3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b33c837065ba3c9cb9ef6df87eaacbdc6ada2f83 Recently, I had the opportunity to use the Bostitch BTF83WW 28 Degree Wire Weld Framing Nailer for a quick home improvement project. Right off the bat, I noticed how powerful this little tool was - it easily drove nails through engineered lumber, making the framing process much easier. The ergonomic design made it comfortable to hold and use, even in tight spaces. However, I did encounter a minor issue with the selectable trigger. While it was useful for switching between single drive and multi-drive modes, it required a small wire clip to access, which could be a bit cumbersome in the field. The rafter hook was made of plastic, which didn't seem very durable, but overall, the product felt well-built and solid. My experience with the BTF83WW was mostly positive, and I appreciated its ease of use and power. While the selectable trigger and rafter hook could use some improvements, it's a great tool for anyone looking to tackle DIY framing projects. đź”—Efficient 28 Gauge Reloader for Hornady Presshttps://preview.redd.it/bjrgeqnkua3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1beaf93cd3abd50f3f706aa733c50c0df670b24a I've been using the Hornady Crimp Starter 28 Gauge 6 Point for quite some time now, and let me tell you - it's a game-changer. As someone who enjoys a good shotgun round, this press has been nothing but reliable and efficient. One aspect of this press that really stands out is the interchangeable crimp starters. It's a feature that makes it incredibly versatile, allowing me to work with a variety of shotshell types. I love the fact that it can adapt so easily to any situation. However, like all products, there are a few minor cons to consider. Sometimes, I find that I need to make adjustments to ensure the perfect crimp - but that's just a small price to pay for the flexibility it offers. Overall, the Hornady Crimp Starter 28 Gauge 6 Point is an excellent shotgun reloader that has made a significant difference in my shooting experiences. Its ability to handle various shotshell styles and adapt to different situations makes it a valuable addition to any avid shotgun shooter's arsenal. đź”—High-Quality 28-Gauge Craft Wire for Beading Projectshttps://preview.redd.it/t1quaevkua3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5d6335dcee31d2a0e75fb4031ab08ce73e3b9df1 As a crafter, I've dabbled with a lot of tools, but THE BEADERY-Craft Wire 28 Gauge really stood out. Its 35 yards of high-gauge line seemed like plenty for my little projects, and I appreciated that it came in a variety of colors. Crafting up my designs was a breeze with this wire, and I felt reassured knowing it was made in the USA. One thing that did catch me off guard was how lightweight it was; it felt almost too delicate for certain applications, but I eventually got the hang of it. All in all, THE BEADERY-Craft Wire 28 Gauge was a lifesaver for my tiny creations. đź”—Premium 28 Gauge 925 Sterling Silver Wire Round for Craftinghttps://preview.redd.it/5voml8flua3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d2e1c6a66a9a2e20014649ac2ca2b5f104a51a58 As a dedicated hobbyist of crafting and wire work, I recently had the chance to try out this 28 gauge, 925 sterling silver wire from Craft Wire. It was a beautiful half-hard wire, made with a classic round shape that I adore. The wire itself was incredibly smooth and easy to work with, which made my creative projects more enjoyable. One of the standout features was its solid durability. It's made using 925 sterling silver, which feels both premium and sturdy. The half-hard texture offered just the right amount of give, making it ideal for intricate jewelry or delicate knotting projects. However, I did notice a slight tendency to fray at the ends, which could be a drawback for some long-term projects. The wire arrived in a length of 50 feet, conveniently wrapped and ready to use. Its USA-made origin also added an extra layer of satisfaction, knowing I was supporting local artisans. All in all, I found this 28 gauge, 925 sterling silver wire to be a delightful addition to my crafting arsenal, offering both beauty and functionality. While there are minor drawbacks, I wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow creators. đź”—Lyman 270 Win Rifle Case Length Headspace Gauge for Safe Reloadinghttps://preview.redd.it/chk2yowlua3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5c54a066844313670775f27b7483958ebbf5288a I remember the first time I used this Lyman. 270 Win Rifle Case Length Headspace Gauge - what a relief it was! I was worried about the safety and accuracy of my reloads, and this little device proved to be a game changer. I'd load a cartridge and simply slide it into this gauge, and it would give me the okay or warn me of a potential problem right away. It was like having a safety net for my firearms. One of the coolest features I found was that the gauge would actually show me a case that exceeded the maximum allowable headspace. This was such a powerful tool to have at my disposal! It helped me maintain the optimum dimensions for each round, which was crucial for the performance of my firearms. Of course, no product is perfect, and a minor downside I experienced was a case that didn't fit quite right. However, this was a rare occurrence and didn't compromise the overall effectiveness of the gauge. Overall, the Lyman. 270 Win Rifle Case Length Headspace Gauge was a game-changing tool in my reloading journey, and I couldn't imagine doing without it. 2024.05.29 01:55 OtherBuilder9243 Daily ring set
My moissanite set from Etsy came in today! It was perfectly made according to my order. My husband helped me choose this as I wanted something with a wedding band that was simpler than my heirloom 13-diamond wedding ring for daily wear. I have a gold allergy and didn’t want to buy platinum right now, so this is sterling silver. I specifically chose a set with thicker bands so that it would be more durable. I can always get the moissanite stone reset with platinum down the road if that becomes what I really want, but I’ve found sterling silver jewelry to be excellent for my metal allergies and durability wise it is just fine. submitted by OtherBuilder9243 to Moissanite [link] [comments] |
2024.05.29 00:26 stuckonline My sterling silver collection
This is part of my sterling silver collection, which I enjoy displaying in a museum-like manner. Over the past year or so, I’ve acquired these pieces by scouring estate sales, flea markets, thrift stores, and auctions. Most of them are over 100 years old, gaining both intrinsic and historic value. submitted by stuckonline to Antiques [link] [comments] I collect spoons because they represent past generations’ wealth. Spoons were an early form of banking, stemming from the historical use of valuable metals in everyday objects, particularly when formal banking systems were less developed or absent. Throughout history, silver and gold have been prized for their intrinsic value. Before modern banking, people needed reliable ways to store and display their wealth. Crafting everyday items like spoons, plates, and other utensils from these metals allowed them to keep their wealth in a tangible, useful form. Possessing silverware indicated wealth and social status, serving as an early form of status symbol. Wealthy families often had extensive collections of silverware, which had both practical and symbolic purposes. The silver content in these items could be melted down and traded or sold if necessary, functioning as a rudimentary form of banking. Spoons were particularly useful because they were small, easy to transport, and had a definite practical use. This made them an ideal form of portable wealth. Unlike large objects that required significant space and care, spoons could be carried or hidden easily. In times of need, these silver spoons could be traded directly for goods and services. Their value was easily recognizable, and they could be melted down and converted into coinage or other forms of currency if needed. This flexibility made them a practical alternative to storing wealth in the form of coins or ingots. Archaeological findings, such as Viking hoards, often include a mix of coins, jewelry, and utensils like spoons. These collections suggest that people kept a variety of valuable items as a form of savings or emergency funds. In Colonial America, silverware was often melted down to mint coins or traded during times of economic hardship. Families who had silver utensils could convert them into cash more readily than those who had their wealth tied up in less liquid assets. While modern banking systems have replaced the need for such practices, the concept of storing wealth in valuable objects persists. High-value items like gold jewelry, art, and collectibles continue to serve as stores of value that can be liquidated when needed. My reasons for collecting go beyond the aesthetics. Spoons and other silver utensils functioned as an early form of banking by allowing individuals to store their wealth in a portable, practical form. This practice underscores the ingenuity of past societies in managing their wealth and the enduring value of precious metals throughout history. Today, they continue to serve as a store of value as silver prices rise. Plus, they make lovely conversation pieces! Can you guess which is likely the oldest and the likely manufacturer date? Also let me know if you would like to see any more closely as it makes me happy to show them off due to the great lengths it’s taken to acquire them. |

I love these dresses from Ava Viv! They are super comfortable, have pockets, and have a flattering silhouette. I paired this dress with a white cincher, white wedges, and silver jewelry. submitted by Naty2RC to FashionPlus [link] [comments] I also tried a different pose to show off the sleeves. I feel silly but you can see how comfy the sleeves are, especially for those of us whose arms are a problem area. Went with a classic red lip from Haus Labs. |
2024.05.28 20:19 hollyjjade My Season?
I’m quite pale with veins that are blue/purple, and normally that would indicate cool skin, however I am Irish and have a lot of redness in the skin (not very noticeable from the photos). submitted by hollyjjade to coloranalysis [link] [comments] I’ve always opted for neutral shades of foundation. I prefer gold jewelry over silver. I have a lot of warmth in my hazel eyes with orange around the pupil. I prefer warm tones around my eye, with the exception of greens. My natural hair is at the roots which is a darker ashy brown, however I prefer warmth in my hair as well. I wear green all the time. I love all shades except fluorescent and pale greens. Aside from that, I love rusty, muted reds and orange colours. I receive the most compliments when I wear emerald green, dark blue and cooler reds. I used to think I was a winter because of my cooler skin, dark hair, and high contrast, however I love autumn colours more!!! Unsure of what I am, and would love some feedback! |

2024.05.28 16:07 FilligreeFen Low-energy days translate into simple looks—but with nice details
Sleepy eepy deepy….hope to go thrifting for the first time in nearly a month and then spend the rest of today and tomorrow doing a whole lot of glorious nothing, because that’s about all I have energy for. But doing nothing just feels nicer when you’re dressed in something that makes you feel like you’re luxuriating instead of languishing. All items thrifted, except for silver bracelet which was Montana Silversmith clearance for only $10 (well, and the fitness tracker from Amazon, but that’s not exactly a fashion item haha). Top is Gretty Zueger, pants are j.jill, shoes are unbranded fast fashion, pearl bracelet is genuine pearls and was only 25 cents, and I know absolutely nothing about the necklace except that it cost about $18 at the thrift store, has no makers marks, and I adore it (if anyone does happen to know more about the style please lmk! I’m sure it’s likely just cheap costume jewelry, but I love it). 💛 submitted by FilligreeFen to oldhagfashion [link] [comments] |
