Reviews🔗Professional, Fireproof Long Gun Safe with Triple Seal Protectionhttps://preview.redd.it/ra94lgeuab3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9e4020bec645531bbfd1525e25a5ecf041f1eb85 Protecting your valuables and firearms can be a huge responsibility, and that's where the Remington Express SAR5944E Safe comes in. I recently decided to try out this long gun safe, and I have to say, it's been a game-changer. First, the exterior dimensions of the safe are impressive, measuring at 59" H x 36" W x 23.50" D, providing ample space for larger firearms. The interior dimensions are equally noteworthy, offering 55.51" H x 32.28" W x 16.30" D, housing 16.90 cubic feet of storage space. With a weight of 721.8 lbs, you know this is a sturdy and reliable safe. But what really sets this safe apart is its fire rating of 60 minutes at temperatures up to 1650 degrees Fahrenheit. That's half an hour longer than what many other safes can claim. And for protection from water damage, it's equipped to withstand submersion in up to 2 feet of standing water for up to 7 days. One area where this safe shines is the combination of a fully programmable SecuRam electronic lock, two fail-safe override keys, and an integrated UL Rated single power outlet with two USB ports. This makes it easy to keep your valuables secure while also providing convenience and ease of use. However, one downside I experienced was the delivery process. I had to pay extra for the safe to be moved inside my home, as the delivery service only brought it to the doorstep. That added a significant amount to my overall cost. The safe also comes with a relocker device and motion-activated LED lights for added security and visibility, especially in dark conditions. The steel construction is industrial-grade, with a graphite satin metallic powder coat finish and a 5-spoke chrome drop handle. The Uni-Weld 12 gauge steel body is reinforced with 8 active steel bolts and 4 deadbolts, providing an impressive level of security. In conclusion, the Remington Express SAR5944E Safe offers a robust combination of fire protection, water resistance, and security features in a sturdy, long gun safe design. Despite the added delivery cost, the overall experience of using this safe has been positive and reassuring, offering peace of mind when it comes to safeguarding important valuables and firearms. 🔗Hornady Series I Custom-Grade 2-Die Set for 300 Remington Ultra Magnumhttps://preview.redd.it/jfbirbsuab3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6ad64e72a0c169b1c533433eb795efd0fb67fb17 I've been using the Hornady Series I 2-Die Set for my 300 Remington Ultra Magnum firearm, and I must say, it's been quite the experience. The die set is well-crafted, ensuring a lifetime of reloading without breaking or wearing out. It boasts a sleek Zip Spindle design that eliminates spindle slippage, making adjustments much easier. One of the most impressive features of these dies is the die locking rings, which keep everything secure during the reloading process. However, I found that the full-length sizing and bullet seating design could be a bit tricky to manage for newcomers to reloading. Another small drawback is the absence of a shell holder, which might be a slight inconvenience for some users. But overall, I've had a fantastic experience with this product. Its durability and smooth operation make it a solid choice for those seeking reliable and long-lasting reloading tools. So, if you're in the market for new dies and haven't given Hornady a try, I highly recommend giving them a shot. 🔗Versatile, High-Quality, Red Magnum 44 Permanent Markerhttps://preview.redd.it/v6q45shvab3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=54e6d565d6416a1c9921086e9d2b11e17bb94067 I recently had the chance to try the WorkstationPro x Broad Magnum 44 Permanent Marker in Red. I was impressed by its industrial strength, perfect for large-scale marking jobs. The quick-dry ink is highly pigmented, producing a bold, bright mark without any odor. Additionally, the loop at the top keeps the marker safe and tidy. Despite its permanent nature, the ink is both AP certified non-toxic and water-resistant, making it a handy option for various uses. However, one minor drawback is that it does not come in a wide range of colors like some other markers. Overall, this red WorkstationPro x Broad Magnum 44 is definitely a worthy addition to any office toolkit. 🔗Redding 44 Remington Magnum Sizer Die for Straight Wall Caseshttps://preview.redd.it/r3a3g3uvab3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=39a65fd1ada4405ccd81a6222966c4193846c539 I recently gave the Redding Sizer Die 44 Remington Magnum a shot in my gunsmithing endeavor, and I have to say, I was quite impressed. Picture this: you've got your shotgun loaded with some ammunition that didn't quite fit right. Instead of having to painstakingly trim and adjust every single piece, you simply pop in this bad boy and let it do all the work for you. The Redding Sizer Die 44 Remington Magnum, much like its younger brother, is meticulously crafted out of high-quality steel alloy. Trust me, you can feel the sturdiness and precision in your hands. It's not just a tool, it's an artisanal piece. The decapping assembly is a game-changer. It saves you the hassle of having to manually remove the primer from each case. It's almost like having a little sidekick doing all the heavy lifting for you. One less thing to worry about, am I right? However, as with all good things, there's a catch. The price tag on this baby might give you a bit of sticker shock. But, considering the quality and the amount of work it saves you in the long run, it might just be worth it. Overall, the Redding Sizer Die 44 Remington Magnum is a worthy investment for any gun enthusiast. It's reliable, precise, and does all the tough work for you. Just remember, you also need to have patience and some knowledge about gunsmithing - this tool is not a magic wand that fixes everything by itself. Happy shooting! 🔗Professional Barber's Dream: 44 Remington Magnum Calibre Jacket Clipperhttps://preview.redd.it/p87irb9wab3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=244f949c2e7e96e5dde0ad0e571eb6339a3336f3 The Caliber 44 Magnum Cordless Clipper has been an essential tool in my daily grooming routine. I was initially drawn to its sleek design, but it was the fade blade's precision that truly won me over. The powerful motor with an impressive 8200 RPM made cutting through thick hair a breeze. The 3200mAh Li-ion battery provides a whopping 5 hours of continuous use, so I never have to worry about running out of power mid-cut. The metal click lever is a game-changer, allowing for effortless and precise adjustments on the fly. The digital display is also a thoughtful addition, keeping me informed of the clipper's power level and oil requirements. While the low noise technology is a great bonus, it's the dual DLC-Diamond Like metal 440C Japanese steel blades that truly set this clipper apart. Of course, no product is without its minor drawbacks. I found that the battery charge time could be a bit longer, but overall, the Caliber 44 Magnum Cordless Clipper has exceeded my expectations and become my go-to grooming essential. 🔗High Lifter APEXX 8-inch Big Lift Kit for Polaris RZR 1000 2017-2021https://preview.redd.it/q3epuyiwab3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7d40130b2c538f629bc7557bb6c4adda07498259 Revving up on my 2020 Polaris RZR 1000, I decided to give the High Lifter APEXX Big Lift Kit a try. Not only did it give my ride the much-needed boost in ground clearance, but it also opened up more possibilities for off-roading. This kit was a game-changer, and the fact that it came with sturdy control arms that can withstand the toughest terrain is just a bonus. However, something I noticed was that the fitment could be a tad tricky, and I had to make some tweaks to get it just right. Overall, it's a worthwhile investment for those seeking a more thrilling off-road experience. 🔗Advanced Ceramic Straightener for Shiny, Healthy Hairhttps://preview.redd.it/pawr5uwwab3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a0dcd83c6e00eb90cf684ad11375065c90e2e98f As I've been using this stylish Remington Therapy Collection straightener, I've noticed how well it treats my hair, giving it a natural-looking shine and eliminating frizz. The advanced ceramic coated plates glide through my hair effortlessly, and the sleek design is easy to maneuver, making it a perfect addition to my daily hair routine. One of the highlights I've experienced is the digital temperature display, which ensures I'm using the right setting for my hair type. Plus, the intelligent auto shut-off feature adds an extra layer of safety for when I forget to turn it off. However, I've also noticed a few drawbacks. On occasion, the advanced ceramic plates tend to tangle my hair when styling, which can be a bit of a hassle to untangle. Additionally, the cord isn't as heavy-duty as I would prefer, making it easier to accidentally unplug during use. Overall, this Remington Therapy Collection straightener has been a valuable addition to my hair care arsenal. While there are a few drawbacks to consider, the benefits far outweigh the cons, making it a solid choice for anyone looking to enhance their hair's vitality and shine. 🔗Waterproof Tactical Boots with Suede Leather and Slip Resistant Outsoleshttps://preview.redd.it/zqu0qv5xab3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7ef07a657f0e912d2c376a7e922c61fe0b7020dc The Magnum Bragg tactical boots are an impressive combination of style and functionality, designed to keep feet dry and protected in every terrain. As a reviewer who's been using these boots for my outdoor activities, I appreciate the breathable waterproof membrane that keeps my feet dry even when I'm wading through wet grass. The cushioned collar, EVA midsole, and Ortholite sock liner provide a level of comfort that I didn't expect from a military-style boot. However, I did notice that these boots are more water resistant than fully waterproof, which can be a downside for those seeking complete protection. Overall, I recommend these boots for people who want a durable and comfortable outdoor work or hiking experience, but remember to apply a moisture repellent to ensure full waterproof protection. 🔗5 Lug 1.5 RS Weld Racing Magnum III RT Wheel in Black Anodized Finishhttps://preview.redd.it/bqsu64kxab3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e242efd4c7aac7e629296c27de4b9ec29a17a446 For a little over a month, I've been using the Weld Racing Magnum III RT 15" x 4" wheel as the staple for one of the vehicles I daily drive. The first thing that stood out to me was the wheel's robust design. The 3-piece construction, coupled with a 1,200 lb load capacity, makes it a reliable choice for my daily commutes, despite the fact that I often have to navigate through urban roads and the occasional pothole. Despite its size, the Weld Racing Magnum III RT is surprisingly maneuverable in tight spaces. Despite the 1.5 in back spacing, it performs wonderfully, making it easier for me to park it in the same spot every day. However, one drawback I've experienced is the lack of hub centricity. While it isn’t a deal breaker for me, it could be a disadvantage for someone looking for the smoothest ride possible. When it comes to aesthetics, the Magnum III RT is hard to beat. The black anodized center contrasts beautifully with the wheel’s polished finish, giving it a sleek and sophisticated look. Overall, the Weld Racing Magnum III RT is a solid choice. Despite its minor drawbacks, the wheel provides an excellent blend of performance and aesthetics. So far, it’s proved to be a reliable and visually appealing addition to my vehicle. 🔗Magnum Rigmaster Safety Boots: Durability, Comfort, and Weather Resistancehttps://preview.redd.it/otr2cxvxab3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cdcd5faead22a3e92204a5f3139cec16b0d3f49a As someone who's spent countless hours on a work site, I can confidently say that comfort is key when it comes to safety boots. That's why I was thrilled to try out the Magnum Rigmaster safety boots for men. The very first thing I noticed was the lightweight yet sturdy design, making these boots easy to wear and move around in, even on wet and muddy surfaces. One feature that really stood out for me was the waterproof and breathable bootie membrane. It kept my feet dry and comfortable all day long, even when I was working in wet conditions. The composite toe and anti-penetration plate were also impressive, offering a layer of protection against potential hazards on the job site. However, there were a couple of downsides to these boots that I couldn't overlook. The zipper system, while convenient for getting them on and off, occasionally caused some friction and wear on the leather. Additionally, the laces sometimes loosened throughout the day, requiring frequent adjustments. In conclusion, the Magnum Rigmaster safety boots provide a balance of comfort and durability that other work boots often lack. Although there are minor drawbacks, the overall experience has been positive, and I would recommend giving these boots a try if you're in the market for a dependable and comfortable pair of safety boots. 🔗Magnum Classic 44 Remington Boots: Comfortable, Durable, and Stylishhttps://preview.redd.it/6qlnacayab3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5840dd21541dca863c539aa2c15e6646444da661 I've been using these Magnum Classic Boots for a while now, and I must say, they're a game changer. The thing that stands out the most to me is the comfort. It's like walking on air – these boots are so lightweight, yet incredibly supportive. The leather and nylon construction is a testament to their durability, so I don't have to worry about them falling apart after a few months of use. They're perfect for those long days when I'm on my feet for hours. One downside is that, as with most boots, they do require a bit of breaking in. I find this with most footwear, and I don't let it deter me from trying out some great products like these boots. Overall, the Magnum Classic Boots are a fantastic addition to my wardrobe. They offer a stylish yet practical twist on traditional footwear, making them an excellent choice for both casual and professional use. 🔗Polished Forged Aluminum Weld Wheels for 44 Remington Magnumhttps://preview.redd.it/s75fzckyab3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=55714c46b88c961798a178f557cf1e99a9ecc5e5 I recently got my hands on some Weld 792P-54202 Magnum III 15x4 / 5x4.5 BP / 1.5in. BS polished wheels, and let me tell you, they looked and felt amazing from the moment they arrived. The polished shell with a black machined center was truly eye-catching, and the center cap and valve stem included made my life a bit easier during installation. However, using these wheels also had some challenges. While designed for use with a 5/8" drive stud or short shank mag style lug, they didn't fit easily into my late-model performance car. Unfortunately, the beadlock availability on 15-inch RT wheels wasn't of much help in this situation. Despite these minor setbacks, I still found the forged aluminum construction to be both stronger and lighter than what I'm used to in cast wheels. Overall, the Weld 792P-54202 Magnum III 15x4 / 5x4.5 BP / 1.5in. BS polished wheels turned out to be a unique combination of style, strength, and convenience. While they presented some installation issues, the premium quality was evident and stood out among other wheels I've used in the past. 🔗Remington Magnum Cremation Medal Keepsake Pendanthttps://preview.redd.it/mgjc6i0zab3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=01ee086353d3e736e02cfe0aec3e034e2e9b9f38 When I decided to try something different to honor my loved one's memory, I stumbled upon the Anchor 44 Magnum Bullet Stainless Steel Jewelry Pendant Necklace. This necklace is not just an accessory; it's a unique way to carry a piece of my loved one with me wherever I go. One of the features that stood out to me is the ability to customize the pendant. I could choose the size of the necklace and even add a personal touch with optional engraving or artwork. The quality of the stainless steel also impressed me - it felt solid and well-crafted. However, there was one thing that seemed a bit off - the instructions for filling and sealing the pendant. It took me a little bit of trial and error to figure out the right technique. But once I managed to get the hang of it, the pendant closure was secure and the process became easier. Overall, I think this necklace is a beautiful and heartfelt way to keep my loved one close to me. While the directions could use a little improvement, the thoughtful design and customer service more than made up for it. 🔗EGW Cowboy Chamber Checker for 357, 44-40, 44 Mag, and .45 Long Colthttps://preview.redd.it/revb8o9zab3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=561207f72a24c825147ea349111226fc06e1e19e My experience with the EGW Cowboy Chamber Checker was nothing short of impressive. I've been using it for a while now, and it has become an essential part of my daily gun cleaning routine. What sets this checked apart from others? It's the solid 6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum construction that comes with a distinct anodized matte black finish for added durability. Unlike some other brands that use boring bars, the EGW Cowboy Chamber Checker is machined using the same Clymer reamers used to chamber barrels. This ensures an accurate measurement and perfect fit for various calibers. The checker stands at 1.6 inches tall, making it compatible with a range of firearms. In terms of the Saami spec max length, it covers 44 Remington Magnum with a dimension of 1.610 inches, while 44-40 Win rounds are suitable with a max length of 1.592 inches. The. 45 Long Colt is not a popular chamber checker but still works as intended. Though I have had no complaints, it would be nice if they offered more options for different calibers. Overall, the EGW Cowboy Chamber Checker is a dependable and functional product that is essential for any gun enthusiast looking to maintain their firearms. Its high standard and the quality it offers are what set it apart in my book. 🔗Eco-Friendly Vegan Glitter Powder in 44 Magnum Shadehttps://preview.redd.it/a7efr9qzab3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dd2c74d5c0b0167f58f1c678c0ed59f22d887d68 Trying the Glitter - 44 Magnum was like stepping into a world full of sparkle and magic. The glitters seemed to capture my imagination with their vibrant, high-pigmented colors. As a fan of colorful looks, I loved applying the glitter over my lash glue crease for an extra pop. However, the application process could have been smoother if the lid on the container didn't have a tendency to loosen and leak glitter during transit. Despite the packaging issues, I found myself drawn to the glitter's mineral-based options and was happy to learn that some of the colors were completely cruelty-free and vegan. 2024.05.28 21:56 GrownUpGirlScout June 13th, I Can See You, Mean, and Taylor Starting a Fire in Liverpool? PART ONE-The Mean Music Video and Versions of Taylor
With all the hype about the upcoming June 13th, 100th show in Liverpool, I've been looking for the Liverpool connections. I went back pretty far and granted the internet is FLOODED with items about the upcoming shows, going back to when they were announced, I also looked back further and searched for liverpool with specific years. So while she may have done something significant in liverpool before last year, I can't find anything, except for the I Can See You music video! Would love to know if anyone else can remembehas found anything though! submitted by GrownUpGirlScout to GaylorSwift [link] [comments] Last year in April 2023 Taylor flew to Liverpool to film the music video for I Can See You on April 10 (? give or take for media and time difference) and the Joe breakup was announced April 19 (? also give or take). The video was filmed in the Cunard Building in Liverpool and it was kept VERY hush hush. It was known that Joey King was in the video, but not Presley Cash or Taylor Lautner. Reports at the time mentioned that Taylor had been inspired by Besides I Can See You being connected to Liverpool and the June 13th/100th show theories, I think there's a definite connection between I Can See You and Mean which ties it further together. For starters, there's an obvious connection between the cast. As I mentioned, Joey King was brought up in early press. Taylor Lautner and Presley Cash were not. It's very SOMETHING to me that she did not choose to cast the young bullied boy from the Mean music vide. I've tried briefly looking into them and it seems to be a mystery-ish. The name of the actor doesn't appear anywhere I've found. Who knows why, but I don't want to necessarily speculate on why someone whose name we don't even know might not want to be a part of the Taylor Show after all these years. But if anyone has any info they think is okay to share, I'm interested for sure. But, more importantly, instead of just leaving the cast as Swift, King, and Cash...she chooses to add-Taylor Lautner. So, my overall interpretation of the I Can See You video as a hint of what's coming sort of rests on my personal understanding that the "characters" in the Mean music video are versions of Taylor herself, so I will start there. The video begins with Taylor singing. At first you just see her, and then the band appears. https://preview.redd.it/dtv472705p2d1.png?width=2698&format=png&auto=webp&s=f6fc520f19cf48e736dc7922fd2ea6ea028a4289 https://preview.redd.it/xi8i2o1t5p2d1.png?width=1901&format=png&auto=webp&s=951fd2d9a5809cbcf94847dedbfdcf84ebec74c9 The first "character" we meet is "bullied young boy". He is wearing a lavender sweater, bow-tie, and reading a fashion magazine. He's sitting in a locker room, surrounded by football players who are harassing him. https://preview.redd.it/hrvhp8pu4p2d1.png?width=2258&format=png&auto=webp&s=acff0d5b90751d83df9a0b92df87ffa68d191ee2 While Taylor and the band play, we see the bullied young boy begin to sing along..."I'll be big enough so you can't hit me." https://preview.redd.it/sgddzsnhhv2d1.png?width=2564&format=png&auto=webp&s=fce91170bd302ec32abc1bed313b93c35a7eb78b The next "character" we meet is Taylor. She is tied to train tracks, with a train oncoming, and a man is standing next to her and mocking her. They are both in black and white old-timey dress. In this screenshot, I tried to capture what I believe is an important aspect of linking these characters to Taylor's "inner self". With all of he other characters in this video, they are introduced with a normal straight cut from Taylor playing with the band to the character. When Taylor transitions from the band to the train tracks Taylor character, there is instead a sort of circular zooming transition. I think this transition shows how Taylor on the train tracks is a portrait of her inner self which is taking place simultaneously to her playing with the band. While the man mocks her, Taylor rolls her eyes and seems to find his behavior ridiculous and not scary or upsetting. https://preview.redd.it/80wbbev9jv2d1.png?width=1840&format=png&auto=webp&s=d4d0e2a9ea766a70eb052827059c9893ffe8d83e As the next "character" is revealed, Taylor sings "I walk with my head down, tryna block you out cause I'll never impress you." The character is a the "bullied young girl" played by Presley Cash. She is a high-school age girl, working at her job. She's working at a diner, but she's not a server, she is dressed as a star. She is high-school aged. She has a job as a star. And all of her peers come to the restaurant to mock her and try to trash her star. https://preview.redd.it/jazivuxulv2d1.png?width=2668&format=png&auto=webp&s=97bac228cb27602353aeaff23b18d1fe295b0f5c https://preview.redd.it/iambmd0wlv2d1.png?width=2717&format=png&auto=webp&s=4d161a8fff5c0f979eb748a5a87abcde77fb1539 She goes home to her bedroom, sits on the bed, and puts her pay into a piggy bank labeled "college". She begins to sing along with Taylor, "someday, I'll be, living in a big ol' city." https://preview.redd.it/6pwodm4kmv2d1.png?width=2648&format=png&auto=webp&s=137ddb92cd0b5ac7cac6c9a630338c998121c990 The final "character" we meet is "young bullied girl" played by Joey King. She is carrying a lunch tray and walking toward a group of laughing girls at a table. The girls at the table have huge overflowing plates of broccoli. The "young bullied girl" has a sandwich. The young bullied girl and the girls at the table are all wearing the same outfit-a frilly white dress, shiny white patent leather shoes, and lacy trimmed socks. But while the girls at the table have long hair and pink bow belts on their dressed, the young bullied girl has a short bob hairstyle and a blue bow belt for her dress. The young bullied girl approaches the table. The girls laugh and point out that her bow isn't pink. The bullied girl looks sad and leaves. https://preview.redd.it/v8e3xv8qnv2d1.png?width=2836&format=png&auto=webp&s=89d108fba5afc18ae4b9462de9e143e5d5573205 Meanwhile, the "current" Taylor is stilled tied to the train tracks but now is being mocked by TWO men, who are sitting and getting drunk while slinging their taunts. She continues to be unbothered. https://preview.redd.it/aoqm8krhpv2d1.png?width=2665&format=png&auto=webp&s=bf751063603b8c2224e0e95a485c7f6cc03e98db The "young bullied girl" has left the group of girls and is now sitting in a bathroom stall with her lunch tray alone. She sings along "All you are is mean." https://preview.redd.it/3q2ix0h7qv2d1.png?width=2150&format=png&auto=webp&s=de8690ea5bcd40aa6d65a6abc7677d0c3257cfd9 Taylor and her band transition from their more casual clothing and setting to wearing fancy old-fashioned clothing and performing in a set on a stage. Taylor's hair, which had been long and braided when playing with the band before, is now styled to be in a short curly bob. https://preview.redd.it/64a135cqvv2d1.png?width=2293&format=png&auto=webp&s=55fd868e05c95cde04b084698eb83c7ff99dcb35 https://preview.redd.it/b6s3cj2qqv2d1.png?width=2021&format=png&auto=webp&s=aa265d1ea0aa8edb4e0f6214bc9d189be9ef2ebb It cuts to the bullied young boy. Her office has a large window and a city view. https://preview.redd.it/45q16ie6sv2d1.png?width=2427&format=png&auto=webp&s=b08081e7765dfc248f2b4f337794a5e9694c9aeb It cuts to Taylor on the train tracks. The two men are passed out drunk at the table. She rolls her eyes, stands up and pulls the ropes off easily, and gives them a cheeky wave before she walks away. https://preview.redd.it/mmbhy4c6tv2d1.png?width=2579&format=png&auto=webp&s=da97f9a2c531523d1317b4ed47b86307c18441e4 It cuts back to Taylor singing on stage with her band, and you can see the "young bullied girl" in the audience. https://preview.redd.it/02zgls2htv2d1.png?width=2685&format=png&auto=webp&s=b089b5abfe8f309f2157c3461da952fdbe0c85f2 The young bullied girl smiles at Taylor with adoration. https://preview.redd.it/i3c17r5tuv2d1.png?width=2544&format=png&auto=webp&s=2e0dd76146dd3642a5623b65d7298a73a253d646 Taylor finishes the song and smiles at the girl. https://preview.redd.it/65y2qw3zuv2d1.png?width=1350&format=png&auto=webp&s=ee12a86c4350ecd8eeb3109156faf0365250fd22 The girl claps for Taylor https://preview.redd.it/3lq42np3083d1.png?width=2639&format=png&auto=webp&s=a239cf22c3472227e931f5c122d81dc6dc502063 So, my personal interpretation of ALL of this is...the characters we see in this video are all versions of Taylor dealing with "mean" people in her life. As a child, it's the popular girls who know she's a little weird and not quite girly enough. In high school, it's coming from two sides-there's the side which has dreams and is working hard at being a "star" to get where she wants to go. And then the side which is queer and has interests in things their peers don't understand or care about. And lastly, train tracks Taylor, who is being held captive by someone who is both cruel and incompetent. This adult "current" version of Taylor is not upset with the way she's being treated by these mean people, she rolls her eyes and seems exasperated, but she is not upset exactly. We see the stories of the characters resolve. We see the bullied young boy gain recognition and appreciation from his peers for succeeding at the interest which got him ridicule in the past. We see the bullied young girl has gotten away from the harassment of her peers. Being a "star" while she was young gets her an education and a office where she seems to have more of an in-charge job job. We see train tracks Taylor wait for her bullies to sabotage themselves and then she just walks away. To re-join her band? We do not see a scene of the young bullied girl's story resolved, exactly. We do not see her as an adult. Unless...she is the child version of Taylor. And we DO see her as an adult because she is Taylor. And child Taylor gets to see how one day she'll be talented and captivating-and perhaps from the audience she was also able to see the story of how Taylor no longer cares about what the bullies have to say. Another interpretation could be that we are just seeing a young girl being bullied who is then inspired by Taylor. But...inspired to do what? Inspired to become a musician? I think, even if one does not see these "characters" specifically as versions of Taylor herself, I think it's very reasonable to think that she is using these characters to tell stories and experiences which resonate with her personally. Especially considering Speak Now was a VERY personal album for her. The other music videos released for Speak Now during that Era all feature Taylor performing the song, while there are scenes of Taylor playing the "character" of her self within the story of the song. Which is another reason I believe Mean was doing the same thing. I'm reaching my character limit and have reached my photo limit so...meet me in Part 2! |

"Tonight tonight, my plans I make, tomorrow tomorrow, the baby I take. The queen will never win the game, for Rumpelstiltskin is my name!"
-Rumpelstiltskin, Children’s and Household Tales, Brother’s Grimm-
A gnome (/noʊm/[1]) is a mythological creature and diminutive spirit in Renaissance magic and alchemy, introduced by Paracelsus in the 16th century and widely adopted by authors including those of modern fantasy literature. Typically small humanoids who live underground, gnome characteristics are reinterpreted to suit various storytellers and artists.[2] Lawn ornaments crafted as gnomes were introduced during the 19th century, growing in popularity during the 20th century as garden gnomes.Age, appearance, cultural differences, traits, and demeanor differ when it comes to subraces. These subraces are relative to certain settings and not all of these are re-made in each edition. There are a lot of varied details of each subrace that would be required reading from the sources if you need to know more. I’m merely giving them your attention so that you could search for them yourself and perhaps your DM could allow some unique flavor to the kind of Gnome you want to play.

The Top 19 Best Cord Hider Wall
Reviews🔗Durable & Flexible Duct Cord Cover - 10ft (Gray)https://preview.redd.it/kivx20m5zx2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f056342dbe13b86753838f679a4acfad157c1ed0 I recently installed the Electriduct D-22 Rubber Duct Cord Cover in my living room to conceal a white extension cord running between my sofa and a comfortable chair. I must say, this split channel design has been a game-changer! The grooved bottom ensures the duct doesn't slide on our polished hardwood floors, making it skid-resistant, safe, and visually pleasing. With three color options available (black, brown, and gray), it perfectly complements our interior décor. One aspect that really stood out was its non-conductive and heat-resistant properties, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use. However, it's essential to note that it can only accommodate pedestrian foot traffic, so it might not be ideal for high-traffic areas. What I appreciated the most about this product is its ability to withstand heavy traffic, making it a perfect choice for garages and warehouses. The large center channel is excellent for managing thick cables, while the two smaller side channels can accommodate additional smaller cords or wires. Overall, the Electriduct D-22 Rubber Duct Cord Cover has made managing my cords and wires effortless. I can now focus on my daily tasks without worrying about trip hazards. Highly recommended! 🔗153in Wall Cable Concealer for 2-3 Cordshttps://preview.redd.it/1e2sels5zx2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5bd23dfa41c68657bf01e384edbe6992753b8e53 I recently received the ZhiYo 153in Cord Hider Wall and I couldn't be more pleased with its performance. As someone who loves a clean and organized space, I was on the hunt for a cable management solution that wouldn't damage my walls. That's when I stumbled upon this cord hider. The installation process was incredibly easy, thanks to the pre-applied adhesive tape, which made it a breeze even for a novice. All I had to do was peel and stick the cable cover base onto the wall before placing in the cords. It's a game-changer for anyone looking to organize their messy cords and create more space for activities. One of the features that stood out for me was the high-quality PVC material used in the cable raceway. It not only provided better flame retardancy but also made it safer and more reliable. Plus, it's paintable and cuttable to match my home decor. However, one downside I encountered was the limitation of using the adhesive tape on textured walls. Despite this minor inconvenience, I have to admit that the ZhiYo Cord Hider Wall has made my living room both safer and more aesthetically pleasing. In summary, if you're looking for a reliable and easy-to-install cable management solution without causing damage to your walls, then the ZhiYo 153in Cord Hider Wall is worth considering. 🔗Wiremold CordMate Cord Cover Kit for Neat and Tidy Spaceshttps://preview.redd.it/z30zoq36zx2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=80a0aca70de66fafc9e3aabf2fe9bf0182db14db I recently used the Wiremold C110 CordMate Cord Channel Kit to conceal a few cords and wires in my living room. The first thing that stood out to me was its stylish design; the smooth, white finish blended seamlessly with my room's interior, making it almost invisible. The kit's flexibility was another highlight. Being able to cut and shape it to fit into tight spaces around furniture and moldings made it incredibly convenient. Plus, the fact that I could easily paint or stain it to match my room's color scheme was a huge plus. However, there were a few minor issues. Firstly, the adhesive wasn't as strong as I'd hoped it would be, especially on freshly painted walls. Secondly, although the kit comes with enough pieces for an average project, I wish there were more corner cover pieces included. Despite these cons, I must say, overall, the Wiremold C110 CordMate Cord Channel Kit did a fantastic job of hiding unsightly cords and wires. It was quick and easy to install, and the result was a clean, organized look that perfectly matched my room's design. If you're looking for a way to tidy up loose cords and wires, I highly recommend giving this product a try. 🔗D-Line Cable Tube: Hide TV Cords and Desk Cable Managementhttps://preview.redd.it/b6ch2ys6zx2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3ac0f416cd026fb0853f0497a3f78b486e443ee4 I was on the lookout for a cable management solution to get rid of the unsightly jungle of cords and wires behind my TV and computer desk. That's when I came across the D-Line Cable Tube. This product has made hiding and organizing my cables such a breeze! The cable hider is pre-split for easy insertion of cords, and its length is perfect for accommodating most desk and TV heights. It's easy to trim to size with scissors if necessary. One feature that really stood out is how the material is both durable and flexible. The cable management tube is made from LDPE, which is a sturdy material that can be easily cut to size but also withstands the wear and tear of daily use. The tube's diameter can comfortably accommodate multiple cords, preventing any tangling or knotting that can often occur with unorganized wires. However, one drawback that some users mentioned is that the tube can be quite stiff after cutting, making it difficult to shape it around furniture or tight spaces. Additionally, some reviewers felt that the length of the tube was not long enough to cover all their cords, requiring them to purchase additional units. Despite these minor inconveniences, the D-Line Cable Tube has been a game-changer in managing my cords and keeping my space clutter-free. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to bring some organization to their mess of cables. 🔗Simple DIY In-Wall TV Power Kithttps://preview.redd.it/1058hcu6zx2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=be72935b30c40239701d44d680f06f65a91c568e You know how after a long day, all you want to do is unwind in your cozy living room with your favorite show? But those unsightly cords coming out of your TV really disrupt the aesthetic vibe. Well, let me tell you about my experience with this Echogear in Wall Power Kit. Firstly, it's incredibly easy to install. Just bring a drill and maybe a beer, and you're good to go. It comes with a pre-wired, power-ready system that's ETL In-Wall Certified, which means it meets high safety standards. It also ensures that your house stays up to code. The cable pass-through on this kit is a game changer. It's got plenty of space for all your HDMI, Ethernet, and audio cables. It's like giving all those cords a secret hideout behind your wall. I must admit, seeing how clean my room looked after I hid all those cords away was super satisfying. However, there's one thing that could be improved. The kit only includes a single outlet, which might be limiting for some people who have multiple devices connected to their TV. But overall, this Echogear in Wall Power Kit is a fantastic investment if you're looking to clean up the look of your entertainment setup. 🔗Wall Cord Hider - Simple and Compact Solution for Cable Managementhttps://preview.redd.it/brm5ls77zx2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=828b4b9c3f6fc27fa3dfa3baec0b2f6f2c8f12f2 I recently purchased a wall cord hider to help manage the cables and cords in my home office. I have to say, this little gadget has been a game-changer! Gone are the days of tangled, unsightly cables all over the floor. The double-sided mounting tapes make it incredibly easy to install this cord hider on the baseboard or wall. The self-adhesive backing gives me peace of mind knowing that my devices will stay securely in place. Not only does this cord hider keep my space looking organized, but it also helps prevent potential accidents by keeping those loose cables out of sight and out of reach. One minor drawback I noticed is that once the mounting tape is installed, it can be quite difficult to remove without heat. So, if you're planning on redecorating or moving furniture, you may need to invest in a hairdryer or heat gun to loosen the adhesive. All in all, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend the wall cord hider to anyone looking for a simple and effective way to manage their cables and wires. 🔗D-Line Paintable TV Cable Raceway Organizerhttps://preview.redd.it/4b8vmyo7zx2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fdabe8160b98e34af2e71ee18e56131ac28b3fa2 When I first started using the D-Line Cable Raceway, I was skeptical about its ability to neatly hide cables on my walls. However, this product has surpassed my expectations! With its half-round profile, it effortlessly subtly blends with my home decor. Its dimensions make it perfect for concealing cables from wall-mounted TVs, desks in offices, home entertainment systems, and even TV/video cabling. One of the highlights of this D-Line Cord Cover is its innovative single-piece hinged design. This design provides flexibility, allowing me to easily add or remove cables at a later date. Plus, the self-adhesive backing makes installation quick and simple - just peel and stick it onto your desired surface, or screw fix it for added stability. Not everyone knows that D-Line Cable Raceway is also paintable! This feature adds a perfect finish to your installed cables. It was so easy to conceal and blend with my home's aesthetic. One minor drawback I encountered was the bulkiness, but that's a small price to pay for the neat appearance it provides. I would recommend D-Line Cable Raceway to anyone looking for a high-quality and good-looking way to hide unsightly cords. 🔗D-Line 39" Low-Profile Cable Cover - Blackhttps://preview.redd.it/5hsmqu08zx2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=899e94a7fed340140846221de0394a9b9a7dc17d As an avid home entertainment enthusiast, I was excited to try the D-Line 39" Cable Cover - Black to improve the appearance of my setup. This cord hider boasts a unique half-round profile that blends seamlessly with my decor, neatly concealing cords, wires, and cables in my home. The quick and easy installation process, involving simply peeling off the adhesive backing and sticking it to a wall surface, made this product stand out. Its innovative one-piece design also allows for easy addition or removal of cords at a later date. However, one issue I encountered was the strong adhesive strip on the back, which can potentially cause damage to the sheetrock when trying to remove it. Perhaps using a few inches of the adhesive strip or drilling holes for drywall anchors may be a better solution for situations where the cord hider needs to be removed. Despite this minor inconvenience, I am very pleased with how my home entertainment area looks after using the D-Line 39" Cable Cover. It effectively hides and manages cords, giving my setup a polished and organized appearance. 🔗DIY Wall-Mounted TV Cord Hiderhttps://preview.redd.it/1utqchr8zx2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8443fd1764b3aecee257a8fcbb93c4e7b02a3d58 I've been using the A+ Electric Cord Hider to keep my home office tidy and clutter-free. The blended design, which can be painted to match my wall color, made it incredibly easy for me to install without disrupting the aesthetics of my room. This cord hider is perfect for both residential and commercial use, allowing me to maintain a clean and organized workspace. I also appreciate that it's family-safe, providing a safe solution for cable management in my home with two young kids and a curious pet. Plus, its easy installation options make it a breeze to set up. If you're looking for an effective way to keep your cables hidden and your space looking pristine, this cord hider is definitely worth considering. 🔗Decorative Wall-Mounted Cord Hiderhttps://preview.redd.it/4s1zg5s8zx2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=be8133c3cceace7b533810b358fbcb7829bab648 I recently stumbled upon the D-Line Oak Wood Effect Cable Raceway while rearranging my living room, and I couldn't be happier with this little gem. As a self-confessed cable management enthusiast, I've tried numerous solutions to keep my wires neat and tidy. However, none of them seemed to truly blend in with the rest of my home decor - until I encountered the D-Line raceway. Its unique half-round profile made it an instant hit for me, as it subtly blended in with my brown-toned decor, helping me achieve that clean and organized look I cherish so much. I was especially impressed by how easy it was to install the raceway, all thanks to its high-grade pvc material that allowed me to cut it to the exact length I needed. One of my favorite features of the D-Line raceway is its hinge-like mechanism, which opens up along the entire length, making it incredibly easy for me to insert multiple cords at once, without needing to pass them through from the front. Plus, it's flexible enough that I can add or remove cords with ease at a later date, making it super versatile for all my electronic devices. Another aspect that truly stood out for me was the raceway's adhesive back, which not only made it a breeze to stick onto smooth surfaces but also allowed me to remove and reposition it as needed, without leaving any residue behind. This was particularly useful when I changed the position of my furniture and needed to adjust the cable management accordingly. In terms of cons, there's not much to mention, except that perhaps the "Oak Effect" isn't as convincing as one might hope, but it still manages to look pleasing to the eye and complements my existing decor quite nicely. All in all, I would highly recommend the D-Line Oak Wood Effect Cable Raceway to anyone looking for an effective and visually appealing solution to their cable management woes. It truly is a game-changer in the world of home organization! 🔗White 39" Cable Cover for Wall Cord Managementhttps://preview.redd.it/gzbz6n89zx2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ce4826e0ed4d53b306900f82417d38bf91bf0267 I recently got my hands on the D-Line 39" Cable Cord Cover - White, and I must say, it has been a game-changer for managing all those unsightly cords in my living room. The smooth, round profile blends seamlessly with my decor, making it nearly invisible to the naked eye. One of the things that really stood out for me is how easy it is to install. This cord cover is a no-brainer even for the most DIY-challenged among us. Plus, it's paintable, so you can match it perfectly to your baseboards or skirting boards, giving your room a clean, finished look. However, I did encounter a minor hiccup. The piece I received was slightly bent, which was a bit disappointing. But hey, nobody's perfect, right? Overall, I'm quite pleased with the D-Line 39" Cable Cord Cover - White. It's a simple, effective solution for organizing and hiding cords, and it definitely gets a thumbs up from me. 🔗DIY Low-Profile Wall Cable Covers for TV, Speakers, and Morehttps://preview.redd.it/u2k9692azx2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=00f549eb2b8048e8cc90c0dd96f8112ac00c3ddd Echogear's Wall Cable Hiders are a game-changer when it comes to cord management. These easy-to-install grommets are perfect for TVs, speakers, and other mounted devices. I personally used these to declutter my home office, and let me tell you, it made a world of difference! The best part about these cable hiders is how versatile they are. I was able to route wires through my desk with ease, making my space look more organized and professional. Plus, with the included drywall hole saw drill attachment, installation took no time at all. One standout feature is that the grommets come in both black and white, so they blend in perfectly with any color scheme. And if you're feeling creative, you can even paint them to match your decor. However, I did find one minor con: the included saw is meant for drywall only. If you want to install these on a wooden desk, you'll need to purchase a separate 1.5" wood hole saw. Overall, Echogear's Wall Cable Hiders are a must-have for anyone looking to take control of their cable clutter. They're affordable, easy to use, and make a huge difference in the appearance and functionality of your space. 🔗157-inch Black Cord Cover for Hiding Surface Wires on Wallhttps://preview.redd.it/vk1jj94azx2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c5fc38e959c806775a608409bf57346b013fe99f I recently got my hands on the D-Line 157-inch Cord Cover Kit, and I must say, it's made my home look much cleaner and organized! This cable raceway does exactly what it promises - it hides those unsightly wires on my wall while blending seamlessly with my decor. It's perfect for organizing cords above baseboards or hiding them vertically on open walls, like for my wall-mounted TV. The best part is how easy it is to install. The self-adhesive backing makes it a breeze to stick onto my wall, and I can even cut the lengths to my preferred size. Plus, there are accessories available to help hide cables around corners, making this product incredibly versatile. I also love that the cable raceway is paintable, which means I don't have to worry about it not matching my wall color. As for negatives, well, if you're planning to use this to hide wires on a particularly heavy-duty appliance, you might need a few small nails or screws to keep everything secure. Overall, the D-Line 157-inch Cord Cover Kit has made a significant difference in how my home looks. It's easy to use, versatile, and helps keep those nasty wires hidden. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a seamless, attractive solution to cable management. 🔗360 Lighting Antique Brass 30" Cord Coverhttps://preview.redd.it/qhdp4ofazx2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=54ebc12883f3a05532ac6bed0acf9eae2969719a I recently installed the 360 Lighting 30" Long Antique Brass Cord Cover in my living room, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. The antique brass finish blended perfectly with my room's modern decor, making the electrical cords practically disappear. I didn't expect such a simple addition to make such a difference! One thing that really stood out for me was how easy it was to install. It took me just a few minutes, and it made an immediate impact on the overall look of the space. Plus, the 0.5" width allowed me to cover just one cord without any issues or complications. On the other hand, one small drawback I noticed was that the product isn't available in black. While the antique brass color is lovely, it might not match everyone's decor preferences. Additionally, some users have mentioned that the product description can be a bit misleading, as the cord cover is made up of two pieces instead of one 30" piece. Overall, I would highly recommend the 360 Lighting 30" Long Antique Brass Cord Cover to anyone looking to tidy up their space and conceal unsightly cords. It's a small investment that can make a big impact on your room's overall appearance. 🔗Sleek Cable Sleeve Wrap for TV Stands - 6fthttps://preview.redd.it/8vanq8xazx2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0677b0758c9af8c494e6254356f2e28f55b0d096 I recently installed this sleek and versatile wall cord cover in my living room to tidy up a mess of cables that were running from my TV stand to the power outlet. I'm pleased to say, it's made a world of difference in terms of organization and aesthetics. The mesh cable sleeve is incredibly easy to use, just wrap it around the cords you want to conceal and voila! My living room now has a cleaner, more polished look without those unsightly cords jutting out. The size of the cover is just right too, fitting perfectly around the width of each plug-in outlet. Plus, with its 2-meter length, it's long enough to cover multiple outlets, making it ideal for bigger or complex setups. However, one minor issue I've experienced is that the tight grip of the cover can sometimes lead to cords getting pulled slightly when pulling on them. But overall, this cord cover has been a game-changer for my cable management woes. So if you're looking for a stylish and practical solution to hide those unsightly cords, look no further! This wall cord cover is a definite must-have for any home. 2024.05.27 01:05 -PepeArown- Revamping Nether Fortresses for an End Update
No, my title is not a typo. I believe that, not only do strongholds: the main way you go to the End need to be updated, but also Nether fortresses, as they’re how you obtain blaze powder for eyes of Ender. submitted by -PepeArown- to minecraftsuggestions [link] [comments] This post will tie into my stronghold revamp post, so I’d suggest reading that if you haven’t already: https://www.reddit.com/minecraftsuggestions/comments/1cnei5m/revamping_strongholds_for_an_end_update/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button With Mojang’s current annual update speed, I honestly think it may be better for them to create “two” End updates: one that fixes the “pre End”, mainly through fixing “castles” (strongholds and fortresses) as well as adding a few other new additions to the Nether, which I’ll detail in my Nether archaeology post, and one that actually fixes the End dimension, which I’ll do more write ups on. (So far, I’ve already done a write up on my concept for a “melodic forest” biome.) https://www.reddit.com/minecraftsuggestions/comments/1ct1w47/the_melodic_forest_concept_for_an_end_biome/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button I have some very basic concept art to share for this post, most of which is admittedly basic retextures or hue shifts of current items. Anyways, my plan is to turn the Nether fortresses into a Nether version of trial chambers, only slightly easier to make up for how they’re mandatory for game progression. The structures will still be given the same name, but go through several major changes to be more current, while still keeping major features like blazes, wither skeletons, and Nether wart intact. So, I want to go over some new building blocks that these renovated fortresses could be made out of, or that you could use yourself for new Nether themed builds. Polished Netherrack Can be crafted by putting a 2x2 of netherrack in a crafting table. Basically, just smooth netherrack in a grid. Can then be smelted into smooth polished netherrack, giving it a dark purplish red color akin to Nether brick, still with the smooth grid texture. Both blocks can be made into slabs, stairs, and walls. Nether Brick Fence Gate No reason this shouldn’t be in the game already. Would simply be added for parity with all the other fence types. Red Nether Brick Fences and Fence Gates Similar story to Nether brick fence gates, but with red Nether brick. Cracked and Chiseled Red Nether Bricks Do I need to explain this one? Blue Nether Bricks Ideally, I think red Nether bricks should be renamed to crimson Nether bricks, and these should be called warped Nether bricks, but I’ll just go for calling them red and blue. They’d be crafted like this with a new item called warped wart, which I’ll go into later when I get into loot. https://preview.redd.it/0vl9g0alku2d1.png?width=484&format=png&auto=webp&s=d5e9e6b423a81e3277663755a85549cdaba156ff Here’s some concept textures from u/Mystjc101 that show off how normal, red, and blue Nether bricks could look. Although, I still do think fences and fence gates should be added along with them, as well as my proposition for smooth polished Netherrack. Also, this technically isn’t the original picture, as I edited the blue Nether bricks to look tealer. https://preview.redd.it/vv2t4kzoku2d1.png?width=640&format=png&auto=webp&s=c102690c13dded863dfe5cda492c2ba535233428 And, one other variant, actually… Weeping Red and Twisting Blue Nether Bricks Essentially, mossy Nether bricks for the red and blue variant. They’d be crafted with the corresponding brick’s vine, like such: Not sure how to make a block model yet, so text is the best I can do for now. Using weeping red Nether bricks as an example, you could then make: -Weeping red Nether brick slabs -Weeping red Nether brick stairs -Weeping red Nether brick walls -Weeping red Nether brick fences -Weeping red Nether brick fence gates Likewise, just replace “weeping red” with “twisting blue” for the blue variants. Having the moss/vines match the color of the bricks is intentional. Having, say weeping moss over blue Nether bricks would clog the game with too many blocks that I think would be too niche in the long run, especially when I want things like fences to get variants. Crimson and Warped Caps A rename for the Nether wart and warped wart blocks we already have. They’d be renamed to caps, because they’re part of the caps of Nether fungi. Functionality would remain the same. Crimson and Warped Wart Blocks These’d be textured differently from the caps to look more “pebbly”, I guess, to signify the individual warts making up the block. Both can be crafted with 9 of their corresponding warts, still. Since they would no longer make up the caps of giant Nether fungi, they can be crafted back into 9 warts. Nether Flower and Decorated Pots I’ve seen a lot of people ask for colored pots, so this seems like the next best option. Clay and netherrack are the only items you need to first smelt into brick items before making individual brick blocks, so Mojang should embrace that and let us make pottery with both of them, giving us 2 pot colors. The recipes would be as you’d expect. https://preview.redd.it/v8r9rv87lu2d1.png?width=484&format=png&auto=webp&s=4059ec9994f232c68e209445ea4fe1c0d4cabd88 https://preview.redd.it/4xiv87b9lu2d1.png?width=484&format=png&auto=webp&s=e19a2613097861ea147e87f4134a5583c3fa7543 Nether decorated pots would be able to carry a stack of any one item, just like their Overworld counterparts. In my Nether archaeology post, I’ll go more in depth with my idea of Nether pottery sherds. Withered Bone Block Can be crafted with one bone block, and two coal, like this: https://preview.redd.it/lgvatd7hlu2d1.png?width=484&format=png&auto=webp&s=d8771f0997bb9470ec332387737036d9dc87ba25 Can’t be crafted back into anything, since it’s made with two things. Wouldn’t have much use beyond being a black pillar block to go with Nether builds. Although, they will surround the base of Wither skeleton trial spawners. More Magma Blocks I don’t see these fitting into my fortress rework, but they’d be neat to have for players. I’ll just list them off, because their recipes should be self-explanatory. -Magma block stair -Magma block slab -Magma block wall -Magma bricks -Magma brick stair -Magma brick slab -Magma brick wall -Chiseled magma brick (could maybe use a magma cube head in the middle) Yes, these’d all still hurt you without the normal protections, and all full block variants would generate downward bubble columns. General Structural Changes to Nether Fortresses As I mentioned before, I want Nether fortresses to have trial spawners and vaults worked into them, But I've decided to keep the structure’s name the same to reference their castle-like build. There’d still be both indoor and outdoor sections of the fortresses to explore, but perhaps with more unique rooms. Also, you’ll now find two variants of fortresses: crimson fortresses made primarily of red Nether bricks, and warped fortresses made primarily of blue Nether bricks. Crimson fortresses can be found in Nether wastes and crimson forests, and warped fortresses can be found in soul sand valleys and warped forests. You could find neither in basalt deltas. Standard Nether brick would be used in these structures as an accent much like copper is used to accent tuff in trial chambers, mainly being used as a floor and ceiling material. Mobs According to the Wiki, 10 unique mobs spawn in trial chambers via trial spawners, or 11 if you count baby zombies. Other mobs also don’t spawn around trial chambers, regardless of light level, so I think fortresses should be treated the same. Now, this does not mean a nearby ghast can’t attack you, but at least extra mobs won’t spawn inside the structure, unless they come from spawners. So, here are my ideas for what could come out of trial spawners in fortresses: as well as a picture showing off what each of their spawner bases would look like. (Using Nether wart blocks as a replacement for chiseled red Nether bricks, bones with coal over them to represent my idea for Withered bones, and gray concrete to represent ash, a new block I’ll detail in my Nether archaeology post.) Trial spawners are depicted as just the normal ones, since I didn’t feel like switching over to snapshots just for one picture. https://preview.redd.it/6j14pgo9mu2d1.png?width=1308&format=png&auto=webp&s=ca2aba94d3f15eaeb15c2837114add8dc0ec43bf Shnats Yes, that last mob on the list is my own idea. Their name is meant to be a fusion of “ash gnat”. Here’s some rough concept art for what I imagine them looking like, beig roughly the size of chickens: Would take on the shape of a square, unlike bees' more rectangular body I’m only going to go over their attack methods here, because, in my Nether archaeology post, I want to detail the other main place (a new Nether biome) you can find them in, as well as their uses. A shnat would fly about, much like a bee or ghast. When they spot you, they’ll chase you until they crash into you, or a wall, at which point, they’ll kamikaze into a plume of ash. (Kind of like how squid will ink you when attacked.) So, they’re kind of like creepers, but, instead of griefing nearby blocks, shnats will simply explode into an obtrusive particle effect. If they die by kamikaze, like creepers, they won’t drop anything, but they will of course do a bit of damage. If you outrun a shnat while it’s chasing you, it’ll lose interest and go back to default, no longer homing in to kill itself. Yes, gnats are arthropods, so shnats will be affected by bane of arthropods. In fortresses, in order to get loot from shnat spawners, you have to kill all schnats normally, not letting any of them kamikaze. If any of them die by kamikaze, the trial spawner will spawn in a backup shnat until you can kill it properly. Blaze and Wither Skeleton Rooms At least one of these will spawn with every fortress, coming with one blaze or Wither skeleton spawner, as well as murals for the corresponding mobs. Because trial spawners can only spawn in so many mobs at once, these rooms would contain normal, infinite mob spawners. That way, anyone that wants to make traditional farms for these two to grind on rods or skulls can do so. Nether Decorated Pots Can be occasionally found in some rooms in fortresses, regardless of the variant. Their faces will come with several sherds unique to fortresses. -Inferno (depicts a blaze) -Bushel (depicts a bundle of Nether wart) -Boss (depicts the Wither) As well as a Nether sherd equivalent of the burn (fire) sherd. In my Nether archaeology post, I’ll explain how both pot types will have unique sherds, but share sherds like the fire, heart, and potion sherds. This’d also be a good way for them to add a new music disc (probably by Lena) that you’d need to break a pot to get. Gardens Relatively small indoor gardens/farms. Again, at least one would come in every fortress. Crimson fortress gardens would come with large crimson fungi and empty soul sand patches, and warped fortress gardens would come with large warped fungi and empty soul sand patches. I should mention that I don’t want trial keys to be compatible with both chambers and fortresses. Otherwise, you could just go to a trial chamber to open fortress vaults, or vice versa. Instead, here’s a quick mockup of fortress keys: normal and ominous. I recolored them to look like the main materials used in fortresses, like how trial keys look like they're made out of tuff and copper. https://preview.redd.it/wtxppjxknu2d1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=1aae896ebaba0e934f74d4b4d5ce0aca052a0bca Gardens would come with one standard vault, which will always have a chance of giving you crimson or warped wart, depending on the fortress variant. The empty soul sand patches could then be where you try to grow Nether wart. I think soul torches or lanterns should spawn in the gardens, and a new feature should be added where Nether wart grows faster if next to a soul light source, maybe once every four blocks like with Overworld crops and water. Also, Mojang should get rid of the chance of finding Nether wart in bastions to make fortresses a bit more unique. Warped Wart As already mentioned, can be found from opening vaults in gardens in warped fortresses. https://preview.redd.it/48ubvtlvnu2d1.png?width=160&format=png&auto=webp&s=dd6b6b855666b2b217ccc35b5ff6e0b62c14a60b Can be used to craft warped wart blocks or blue Nether bricks, but its main use would be to brew up a pugnacious potion. A pugnacious potion acts like an awkward potion, but, instead of having a consistent status effect, any entity affected with an effect brewed with a pugnacious potion will do something upon death, or when hit. 1.21 is adding four of these already: weaving, wind charging, oozing, and infested. With pugnacious potions, you’d now need to brew up these four potions with a pugnacious potion, not an awkward potion. To compensate, however, I say more “pugnacious effects” should be added. Ominous Fortress Trials, and Pugnacious Effects These’d work pretty similarly to ominous chamber trials. Zombified piglins, skeletons, and Wither skeletons will all get a chance of spawning with upgraded gear with trims (including some new ones) that you could find in fortresses, and random lingering potions will be thrown from spawners. That includes some new ones that you can make yourself: Fire Charged Can be brewed with a blaze rod. When used, any mob with the effect that’s killed will produce a pile of fire in the nearby vicinity after they die. Molten Can be brewed with a chiseled magma brick. When used, any mob killed with the effect will spawn two medium magma cubes. Great for gathering froglights in the Overworld And, some extra effects that wouldn’t spawn during fortress ominous trials, but may have interesting implications. Blossoming Can be brewed with a spore blossom. Upon death, a mob with this effect will produce a trailing particle effect that reaches to the ceiling directly above them, planting a spore blossom there. If the trail can't reach a ceiling (Ex: only the sky is above you), it'll drop the blossom on the ground as an item. Like how weaving is the only way to reproduce cobwebs, this seems like an inteeresting option to renew spore blossoms. Catalyzing Can be brewed with a sculk catalyst. Any mob killed with the effect will drop no XP, instead leaving behind a pile of sculk, regardless of if there’s a catalyst nearby. Other Loot Ideas So, of course, fortresses would come with some of the “standard” unique loot: -A new trim or two (one based off the blaze for sure, like how there’s going to be a breeze trim) -1-3 new discs -A new banner pattern or two (ones that depicts a flame, and another depicting a blaze) -The warts that I already went over But, I think more needs to be added than that, obviously. So, I’ll briefly go over some possible ideas. Netherite Horse Armor I'd love to credit the original maker of this sprite, but they deleted their Reddit account. The “lazy” but obvious add to fortresses, and that should remain an exclusive drop to help them stick out from bastions. Maybe they’d be an ominous exclusive drop. But, beyond that, why not rework horse armor entirely? Such as by: -Giving it durability, making it work more like wolf or standard armor. -Giving it the ability to be trimmed (using the same trim items for player armor) -Giving you the ability to enchant it I found that u/butdamnthisisbetter did a pretty great writeup of how horse armor enchantments should work, so I’m not even going to try to come up with better ideas when I agree with almost everything they’re saying: https://www.reddit.com/minecraftsuggestions/comments/1cvr6xb/enchantable_horse_armo?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button Only suggestion I’d add to that here is to add horse armor books to the fortress loot tables. Golden Sledges I just tweaked the golden hammer from the Fabric Hammers mod to have a crimson stick handle. A new tool that can’t be crafted, like a trident. A golden mallet, pretty much, but I’m calling it a sledge to not have it be confused with the mace. It’d be more common than the mace, but still be rather useful. It can be used to not break blocks, but rather “break down” blocks. My current ideas: -Turns stone bricks into cracked stone bricks without needing a furnace -Turns concrete back into concrete powder Maybe adding this would open the doors for us to crack even more blocks, like regular clay bricks, ice, or glass? Soul Pearls Not an item exclusive to fortresses, but you could find them here, by bartering, or from “creating them” yourself. As per my rough concept art here, they’d be Ender pearls covered in soul sand. The soul sand buries the core/\"eye\" of the pearl. My logic here is that mollusks produce pearls by “purifying” unwanted sand that gets into them. Considering shulkers already exist in the End, I am going to elaborate in my End biome write ups that I’d like the Ender pearl lore to be better established and traced back to mollusk mobs (including several new ones of mine), because I don’t see how Endermen produced them themselves. Aside from fortresses and bartering, you can also get soul pearls from throwing an Ender pearl on a soul sand block. After 1 minute, it’ll convert to a soul pearl. This is to reference how real pearls can take up to a year to form, but still way more fair and fast for Minecraft. When throwing a soul pearl, you’ll still get damaged, but, if you’re by any sculk items, you won’t cause vibrations. So, you can use them to occlude sculk while traversing the deep dark. Admittedly, a niche use on its own, which is why I want them to replace Ender pearls in the eye of Ender recipe. This would also entail a retexture of the eye of Ender, which I think should now incorporate a soul flame considering its new recipe. Apologies if my eye of Ender retexture mockup is terrible. The eye's supposed to look like it's burning, like a mini soul flame sun. Yes, that means End portal frames and Ender chests would need a retexture, too. I think it’s a reasonable, realistic change that would help make progression more interesting. In retrospect, having magical fire power turn a pearl to an eye doesn’t make much sense, so having it burn souls into an eye at least sounds a morsel more interesting and realistic. 11 pages in my Google Docs on this. I should probably stop, but my next post will be on my ideas for Nether archaeology, and will have a link to this one. |
