I’m almost 21 weeks pregnant and OH MY GOD I am constantly leaking. Constantly. I have to change my damn underwear like 3 times a day it’s so bad. My parents have been divorced almost a decade now (I’m 28). My mom had an affair and married the man she cheated on my dad with and I had a really hard time with that. I am no contact with her husband. My parents recently started hanging out a lot and are really good friends now — they hang out almost every single day.
I know I should be happy about this, and I am to an extent, but it’s also made me deeply sad that they couldn’t work things out. Their divorce put a lot of financial strain on our family, and I just find myself more and more angry that they are unable to fully reconcile.
I’m having a hard time articulating this to them, though, and they are feeling as though there’s no winning with me. Perhaps there isn’t any winning with me, but I really don’t think I can be around the two of them together for my own sanity. It’s too challenging.

The era of Gods was one known throughout our realm as a time of chaos and destruction. Originally there was only one god, the Grand Creator of our realm, and to many he was the defining image of what godhood meant and represented. Eventually, these 7 seats were filled, and with the end of the war came the Darkest Days of the realm, which left the new gods to pick of the pieces, and many to be left to wonder, what happened to the Grand Creator?
We were now in the era of humanity. The gods that held the 7 seats remained complacent within them, however, many took to blending in with mortals, disguising themselves under new identities for their own safety and as to not disrupt the balance of divine law. Naturally, their original titles were still worshipped, given as to disrespect the gods would be a fault in judgement. You were one of the gods that managed to earn a seat, and as humanity aged, you got to see the ways of many mortals, yet every time you got close to one or another, you were abandoned. This was the curse of godhood, immortality. Many believed that to live forever was a blessing, but in actuality the implications of it was vast, especially for you specifically.
During the war for the title of godhood, I was your one true love, the one you were willing to sacrifice everything for, the plan was for you to obtain a seat and for us to live happily ever after. I was cursed with endless rebirth, meaning that I would always be reborn anew, yet all memories of my past lives would be dormant, and if regained, I would perish within three days time. To add insult to injury, with each rebirth, we would always fall in love, thus making each cycle that much more painful. Was it really worth it, to not only strive for ascension into godhood, but to defy the laws of life and death for love? Hey there, thank you so much for reading, I hope the length wasn’t too much. Either way, this prompt is meant to focus around fantasy and romance, pretty much a tale of eternal love between a god and his cursed love. This role can go a variety of ways, but for the most part a good chunk of it will be trying to free one another from the curse that the two are plagued with, along with fighting against a certain dark force that may or may not be trying to take over the realm. I am currently in Core 1 of the CPA program and I am beginning to think this may not be my thing. At work, I am general good at what I do however, my attention to detail is rather random. Some days im very detail oriented and complete tasks in detail. Other days I just focus on what I believe is important and miss a lot of small stuff. I am having trouble staying motivated to work hard and give extra effort because my wage is so low and the work is repetitive.
Now that I have started the CPA program I have zero time to myself. All I do is work and study. It’s got me worried that I am not in the correct line of work because it’s so hard for me to sit down and do the assignments and study. Are people passionate about this stuff? How do people live work and study?
I’m just not sure I want to commit to 3 years of the CPA program in my “prime” and have a life of no time for a wife or kids. Advice would be great maybe I just need some perspective.

For all who weren’t sure laser treatments would work for you because 15 years ago you tried them and it only made things worse… fear not.
At 15 years old I had a pretty hefty upper lip (comparatively to my peers) so my mom took me to get laser treatments and it helped, marginally. However, the dermatology office offered me a chin laser session for free and we accepted, but did not continue after the first session.
I didn’t notice it immediately, but over the course of several years the hair grew in thicker and more dense. I remember being as young as 22 and needing to “dermaplane” (aka shave) every week. This was either a coincidence, a crappy laser from the early 2000’s setting me on a path for future aggressive hair growth, or the more likely reason -an underlying issue that is yet to be identified.
The one blood panel I did a couple of years ago came back as “normal” for the hormones that usually indicate a hormonal issue (sorry, I’m so ignorant on the topic of hormones). So I was left feeling distraught that there was no rhyme or reason for the hair growth.
Now, I’m turning 35 in June, and I have been getting laser treatments for a year, give or take. First every 4, then 6, then 8 week intervals. I think I’ve purchased 12-16 sessions (lost count), and will continue doing them for maintenance.
It is single-handedly the best decision I’ve ever made to combat this pervasive issue that had previously haunted me. Today’s last customer tested our patience to the limit. We close at 7 pm sharp on weekdays, yet this customer strolled in at 7:20 demanding a refund. Politely, I explained that we were closed but invited them back at 10 am the next day. That should have been the end of it. But no, they knocked again, this time more aggressively, with sour faces to match.
I approached the door once more, reiterating our closing policy and the impossibility of processing refunds after hours. The customer's fury escalated; they began hurling boxes at the door and demanded to see the manager, making intimidating faces all the while. Even after the manager confirmed our policy, they refused to budge, effectively holding us hostage at our own store past closing time.
Desperate to diffuse the situation and finally head home, I made the call to redirect the customer to the nearest open store, a 12-minute drive away, open until 9 pm. Only then did they reluctantly leave, leaving behind a trail of frustration and exhaustion.
It's appalling how some individuals feel entitled to disrupt others' lives, especially over trivial matters like a refund past closing hours. Taking advantage of minimum-wage workers, who are simply doing their jobs, is unacceptable. So here's a reminder: respect closing times, respect retail workers, and if you can't adhere to that, then please, don't buy anything at all.

hey, just curious if anyone has ever struggled with hospital chaplains not staying in their lane? Obviously there’s overlap between our professions, but I work with one who LEAPS over boundaries. The first time I met her, she introduced herself as a ‘counselor who hands out bibles’ 😳 she self-initiates visits to everyone on our shared floor, gives out resources from the Therapist Aide, hands out Positive Psychology resources and the other day, gave my patient IPV resources after she was attacked. I caaaaan’t. It feels like there is zero professional courtesy. Am I the only one?!

I am a teaching assistant. I’ve been 19 for a reasonably short amount of time. I work while taking community college courses, and have $11117 in my savings account from my job (was a sub, am now an assistant and have been one since January. Next month I receive a dollar raise, becoming an assistant means I work daily. I should have more saved after I’ve been paid through the end of this month.) I’m admittedly not positive that this is what I see myself doing for my entire life, but also don’t know what I want to major in and am partly here because it’s supposed to be a learning experience for me.
I have grown up in, and still live in, an area that has a very large white population (and a sizable population of one specific non-white ethnic group that is not black. I am from a place that has a low population of black people.) I have noticed, ever since graduating from high school, that I am no longer terribly attracted to white men. I pass average looking white men on the street, and there’s no attraction present. I have felt attraction toward average and above looking black men, particularly those who are dark skinned, although I felt very strong attraction toward a light skinned 1/2 black 1/2 white boy in my senior year of high school (had colored eyes and was commonly considered to be above average/conventionally attractive. I also had a crush on another mixed boy who was slightly above average as a freshman, yet average by the time he was a junior - I was no longer attracted to him after he became average, and also started to dislike him because he had criticized my physical appearance behind my back.) The non-black men I have been attracted to were Mexican/Latino, yet were typically above average (I occasionally feel attraction toward an average looking Mexican/Latino man. Occasionally.) I will admit that I am very specific about what I like. I have found Jake Gyllenhaal attractive (about two years ago I was wildly attracted to him when watching Donnie Darko,) and had a crush on David Bowie in middle school, but think I was more attracted to white men then than I am now. My only boyfriend, two years ago, was black, and was what I think of as average looking. The white men I have typically been attracted to have had blonde hair and blue eyes, but I don’t know why.
I’m introverted. I do have to interact with people because of the nature of my job, but I have no friends. Whenever I am not working, I generally watch television (as of right now, that has typically been “Laverne and Shirley” and “twilight zone” - I’ve actually been marathoning twilight zone every year since I was about 11 or 12 ever since my middle school science teacher turned on two episodes, “eye of the beholder” and “number 12 looks just like you” for our class. I’ve always wanted to introduce a group of youth to the series in that manner, because I remember that it actually got me hooked on the series.)
Black men in my area typically take out and prefer white women, or otherwise seem to be colorists. In high school, I remember that black boys specifically dating white girls was a “thing.” I don’t really tend to receive attention in my area, I have not received any attention this year. However, I also recall that the lighter skinned girls who looked mixed (1/2 black 1/2 white) didn’t struggle to date even if they were average, whereas it seemed that the darker skinned girls who weren’t above average were undeniably having a much harder time.
My mother was above average at some point in her life (always average without makeup, which is the case for most women,) average throughout my childhood because she gradually became overweight, and would now likely commonly be considered a little below average (in part due to things such as colorism yet also because she has always smoked cigarettes and has gained a lot of weight whilst never leaving the apartment so she is unhealthy looking now.)

I (23M) started seeing a counsellor at school last October, due to the overwhelming amount of stress I was feeling (and what I now know was bottled up from previous years) I had somewhat of a mental breakdown. My girlfriend was (and still is) the reason I got started, and it’s been overall positive.
But where I used to be able to keep it together, I can’t anymore. Little things set me off, and it’s exhausting. A small part of me regrets ever having said anything and feels like it was easier not acknowledging it, because then I could ignore it.
I know that it’s better for me and it’s just gonna take time, and it’s a lifelong process for some, but I feel worse some days now than I ever did a year ago.

I've found myself in a bit of a situation and need some guidance. A company has contacted me to start contracting, but I have no idea where to begin. I hadn't planned on taking a job this year due to continuous traveling around Asia, but the opportunity being offered is excellent and hard to ignore for various reasons (money, fully remote work with flexible hours, and the nature of the job).
About me: - Nationality: Belgian citizen. - Residency History: I haven't lived in Belgium for 3-4 years. My last known residency was in the UK, but I am no longer registered there either since december. - Current Status: traveling around Asia.
My Questions:
Where should I start a company? From my research, I've considered setting up a US LLC due to its simplicity and favorable conditions for non-residents. However, I'm unsure if this is the best option given my situation. Are there better alternatives?
Tax residency? I understand that determining my tax residency is crucial but also complex given my remote lifestyle. Where should I declare my tax residency to optimize for taxes legally and compliantly, but without the need to stay there 183 days?
I know I should be looking for an international tax advisor or accountant. However, I’m struggling to find professionals who deal with setting up a company from "anywhere" and managing international taxes. Any recommendations or referrals would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone this is my first post… My fiance and I usually text a decent amount. she’s been busy with school and so have I…we recently both had a vacation and her friends flew her out…I was really happy for her to get to enjoy some semblance of a bachelorette party because she won’t have the time for it when our studies resume. Plus she needed it. she works super hard all the time, we both do. I understand that she’s with her friends and probably wouldn’t be able to get in touch much, maybe she just wanted to truly enjoy their company? But she went to Romania for a week and she didn’t text me unless I texted her and even then it was dry and short and now she just leaves me on read I’ve gotten radio silence for 2 days now I guess all this just kinda released the fact that I somehow feel lonely when I’m engaged and I feel like that shouldn’t be the standard I don’t feel like I’m asking for the world here but even just a text once a day would be cool I get that she’s on a trip but no contact at all?!?! Am I crazy?

This is a long story so buckle up, hoping some fellow PPC marketers have some other ideas I’m not thinking of to help me get my account back to where it was. I work in the behavioral health space. I took over the account almost a year ago, with no prior experience in PPC, however, I am a marketer with tons of digital experience and figured it out.
When I took over the account last summer I did a huge overhaul, all new campaigns ad groups and keywords. I worked with my ad rep to get our account performance enhanced. We were set for a max click bid strategy and after enough data we made the swap to max conversions, and after a few weeks added in target CPAs.
It was somewhat of a rough start lots of spam, wrong # or insurances we didn’t accept. Typical for the nature of PPC while AI was in learning phase, I stuck it out and things got better and we were ROCKING into the fall & winter.
Something key to probably note, end of the year because things were going well I was directed to lower the budget significantly almost 40k. Now going into the new year we raised the budget back up but not to the peak amount we had it at originally. Now keep in mind unbeknownst to me I did not do any creative refreshes since the first overhaul last summer, in my eyes if it ain’t broke don’t fix it—the account was rocking there was no red flags to trigger me to change anything.
Now January started off I’d say normal to how it was in the past few years, once Feb/March hit we noticed a DRASTIC drop in performance, to the point our phones weren’t ringing at all.
I noticed alot of our search terms were revolved around quizzes, think “am I depressed quiz” so I took a shot in the dark and to combat the lack of performance created ads specific for the quizzes along with the keywords to compliment it. Right idea, but I might add we are not associating value to our conversion metrics, so wrong execution on our part.
Regardless, performance was back up (so it seemed) we were getting more form submissions than ever because of how I had our quizzes set up on our site. The quantity was there but the quality was lacking out of let’s say 200 forms in a week, only 20 were good qualified leads or insurances we work with. This led me to ask my ads rep how can I communicate back to Google that out of the 200 only 20 were good and to continue targeting those 20 only.
In comes the introduction to GCLIDs from my rep, this unearthed alot of technological issues for us. Our landing page speeds being shit, our target swap #s not swapping properly, target pools not properly created, GCLIDs not being collected properly or communicated back to Callrail or our CRM as intended, amongst a bunch more other issues.
Important to mention, while I was fixing all these issues March/May our account was underspending significantly after those quizzes kind of broke the ecosystem to the point we were only spending about 1/3 of our budget.
Fast forward to today, all these issues are now correct and conversion metrics, GCLIDs and all my systems communicating as intended—things are firing on all cylinders. Now to get us back to get standing in March/april we started from scratch on the still existing campaigns/ad groups (no creative refresh still) we opted for a target impression share strategy and after a few days had it set for absolute top of page. Performance started increasing, but so did our spend we were blowing through our budget, so we went back to max clicks. Things were going good on max clicks phone ringing, good policies in the door. Coming into May we swapped back to max conversions on only our 2 best performing campaigns because they had enough data and we wanted to get back to how optimized we were in fall/winter.
The switch to max conversion brought us nothing but the insurances we don’t accept while in its learning phase and the phone hardly ringing, form submissions were going strong but again not anything we could accept. We made the decision to switch back to max clicks over the weekend. I know we were inpatient and didn’t wait out the learning period as we should’ve for max conversions.
Basically I’m at a stand still right now, I don’t know what else to do to get our account back in good technical health and have it start producing with high quality and quantity like we were last Q3/4.
Any insights, ideas or suggestions are greatly, greatly appreciated.
Important to note, we haven’t done any A/B testing, still haven’t done a content refresh, landing pages look great but the speed score is around a 4-6/10, we’re also getting smoked on auction insights with <10 on most of our campaigns. Also back in Feb/March while our test with quizzes essentially broke our whole ecosystem of Google ads, our rep showed us a vertical trend index report that shows a DRASTIC and I mean DRASTIC dip in the behavioral health space in regards to search queries, so this definitely played a role as well.
