2024.05.29 07:00 Leafboii Recon needs to be removed

You need to do what The Finals did and remove recon ability from the game or you need to do what Black Ops 4 did where two are limited per match, the ability(recon) is their super and their actual ability would be a recon dart that you shoot somewhere and it shows any enemies in the area.
Wall hacks is a cheaters favourite for a reason.

2024.05.29 06:43 Specialist_Report_15 TYBW banners have been disappointing recently. What are your thoughts?

So I've been waiting month after month for a good TYBW banner to drop again but after seeing the trailer, I just had to vent. (Please note these are just my personal opinion, if anything I've said offends you/resonates with you, feel free to comment your thoughts on my points.)
  1. Yet another '2 character' banner.
I can understand if its for Mid Month but why do this for EOM? This is not the first and will probably not be the last time either. (TYBW Rangiku was clearly supposed to be the 3rd character in 'Wings of Frost' summons but was omitted and thrown into 'Reinforcement' summons a month later, I wouldn't be surprised if Ryuken is a random third in a future TYBW banner)
  1. Remakes of past TYBW characters.
Some people are saying they prefer KLAB to focus on giving us newer characters, like Sternritters, instead of remaking old ones, especially those that haven't resurrected yet, to garner more hype for the game. Frankly, I do not mind remakes so long as they're improved visually compared to their old versions.
  1. Declining character art.
Lately some of the Mid Month character art have been 'off' and some are accusing KLAB of slacking and using AI but it was still excusable. However this time, we have a TYBW EOM banner and Isshin's art is looking quite bland compared to Masaki's art. Now I'm not an artist so I can't point out what exactly is wrong with it. Maybe it's the shading, coloring, artstyle, or a combination of them all but personally, it just doesn't feel like Young Isshin from the TYBW anime but more akin to the style from 'Tower of God' anime. Masaki on the other hand looks and feels like she came directly from the anime.
  1. Gameplay Visuals are lacking
TYBW 'Reinforcements' had some of the most boring gameplay visuals outta the TYBW series so I was hoping this banner would be a refreshing reminder of how cool TYBW units can be but I was met with nothing but disappointment.
Masaki has a light shade of blue for all of her gameplay which results in dull looking SAs at times. Her SA1 shoots out arrows from the sky that pushes out enemies but 70% of it is filled with a giant smoky cloud effect. Her SA2 is a barrage of arrows being shot but they're being shot out in waves which makes it look semi awkward compared to other continuous barrage attacks. Her SA3, which was supposed to be her iconic attack where she kills White with 1 arrow, just has a slit open up in the air and bright light come out of it for a fullscreen attack. All in all, it just feels like there's not much effort to make it look exciting. Comparing this Masaki to the one we got almost 4 years ago, I actually prefer the latter. And that was made to be a NAD character while this was made to be a SP character.
Isshin also suffers from the same light shade of orange that makes his SAs look dull. (not as bad as Masaki tho mainly because flames will look decent no matter). His SA1 is a simple lunge with flames, not bad but nothing impressive either. His SA2 is a homing vortex made out of flames, again not bad but nothing impressive. His SA3 is a full screen attack where he leaps up and a giant flaming sword appears from the ground and cuts his enemies under him. Sounds cool right? Except that the animation lasts about a fraction of a second and then its done. (Seriously, even played in 0.25 and it showed for only a second) No lasting visual effects, no cool sound effects its just.... so uninspiring. Again, comparing this Isshin to the one from nearly 4 years ago, the latter comes out on top again.
I went back to rewatch Everything But The Rain and it was full epic fight moments from both Isshin and Masaki that I'm dumbfounded by what we got ...
  1. Soul Bomb Animations
If there was any positive thing to be said about these remakes then it would have to be the SB animations. They are just stunningly beautiful, the quality has actually gone up alot and not just comparing between the old versions but in general. It is very noticeable during the part where it zooms in onto Masaki's face as she prepares to shoot, the chibi model looks very HD. And the arrows here look bright and vibrant along with Isshin's flames, which begs the question: Why wasn't the same applied to their gameplay?
  1. Last notes
I know KLAB are busy with their new Bleach game and Kubo is busy with the TYBW anime so I don't expect quality 100% of the time but the falloff from EOY TYBW to this EOM TYBW is crazy steep. Even last year after anni part 2, the TYBW banners released (mind you 1 was MID MONTH) were still visually amazing and it is sad to see. KLAB needs to realize that they can't just slap OP skills onto a character and call it a day. I hope this is just a hiccup period and not an omen for BBS's potential bleak future. Most likely gonna skip and hope KLAB brings out their S game for 9th anni part 1 and 2.

2024.05.29 05:48 Visual_Angle_3972 Anti Eiffel idea for Bersagliere or any new Titan

How’d one make a BiW hurt mainly just titans and avoid being OP against robots?
1: Shoot really high up then drop down SLOWLY. Small robots have time to get under cover (like in tunnels on carriemiddle of moon/coliseum in Rome etc etc.) whereas titans will be forced to eat it in the open.
  1. Make it POISON dmg with initial application deflectable by yellow shield (robots can phase shift the poison or some can use ability to mitigate it, whereas Titan defense is useless against Poison). The bulk of poison dmg should come near end of the DoT. Some titans can also use ability to remove/mitigate the poison too like indra, or lucha/minos reflector etc
  2. Make BiW do extra dmg to titans or give it an execution ability vs titans (newton+lynx biw combined?)
Thoughts?

2024.05.29 03:43 231923 New Mech idea

A Mech with 2 person using it. One is driving and uses an Ultra Quasar canon on both hands with double the demige and three times the recharge time then the regular one (could be nerfed with 3 shots each before final obverheat if this is too OP) and the other is sitting on the top with a front armored HMG Emplacement wich can take out smaller enemys untill it has ammo ( Still have to shoot them out from a distance if they come too close it can only stomp).

2024.05.29 03:04 WhiteShadow5063 A better(?) recruit rework idea

I’m bored asf so I’m gonna put together my last 2 brain cells and try and make a better recruit rework than Ubisoft, the small indie company, did
So recruit is a recruit, and he is trying to learn how to be the best and gain satisfaction from the other ops, so clearly he’s gonna learn things from them. Basically his gadget is copying one op on his side (that there team picked, so can’t copy brava if no one on his team picked brava) and he’s gonna gain that ability (however considerably weaker bc it’s not his, he’s js trying to do his best) now some of these ideas could be op, and some might be weak, but it depends on your standing. ALSO I AM NOT THE BEST AT THE GAME, SO IF ANY OF THESE CHANGES DONT MAKE SENSE THATS WHY. Anyway hope yall enjoy
Attack:
Recruit - can pick to be 1 speed/3 health, 2 speed/2 health, or 3 speed/1 health (I’ve heard that’s what he could do when the game first came out, but idk bc I didn’t play back then) he can pick what he has now (lmg, L85A2, marksman rifle) and what he will have (M4 and the other one) AND a shield. All are fully customizable. secondary’s are whatever he has now + what he will have, again all customizable. For the secondary gadget he can pick any secondary gadget on attack but only that gadget, so no impact/breach or frag/stun
Sledge - he copies his sledge hammer into a hammer, so it only has 5 uses (bc realistically sledge isn’t using 25 sledgehammers in a round) and it has a smaller AOE
Thatcher - so either it’s a impact emp with the range of thatch or it’s thatchers emp with the range of an impact
Ash - 1 ash charge, but it’s more of a sticky grenade that takes a bit longer to blow up and needs to be thrown
Thermite - 1 exothermic charge that takes longer to blow up and has a smaller explosive range
Twitch - 1 regular drone turns into a shock drone, and has 3 shots and can’t jump. After that it’s a regular drone
Monty - NEEDS SHIELD, and if recruit has a shield he can’t run (bc Monty’s shield is heavy) BUT can extend like Monty’s, only a bit weaker (so quicker to shield stun? him) and only protects the front and not the sides
Glaz - recruit gets a thermal lens, which can be applied to a drone OR to the phone. If it’s a drone, it’s like glaz, where the more you move, the weaker the thermal gets. If it’s the phone, you can walk around with your phone in your face and can get VERY faint thermal readings. Basically it means your pulse but weaker, and you need to use your eyes to distinguish if it’s natural or an enemy
Fuze - 1 Fuze charge that can’t drill through a reinforced wall hatch, but it does a reinforced penetration (it takes longer to blow) and has three (or 2) explosive hockey pucks
Blitz - NEEDS SHIELD, and after he picks a shield he can run but a bit slower, and can use 2 flashes, but a bit weaker (shorter stun time and shorter range)
IQ - turns phone into iq scanner (can switch between iq and drone) has to stand still and has a max timer of 20 seconds. After that, phone goes back to normal
Blackbeard - tbh, idk for this one, bc BB Is already hella weak, AND he’s getting a “remaster” this year, so yea. Besides, BB is RARELY picked so if anything, recruit gets body armor, so +10 health or sum
Buck - adds an under barrel shotgun to whichever gun is equipped, and only has 6 shots, which after jams and breaks
Capito - makes makeshift crossy, which needs to be shot standing still and pulling the bow back. Can chose one smoke arrow or one fire arrow
Hibanna - gets 6 hibannas and has to throw each one individually (like womai)
Jackal - scans 1 pair of feet, but doesn’t know if they’re old or new, and last for 1 ping (so like 5 sec or something)
Ying - 1 candela, which can be thrown with no timer, stun last shorter and recruit is affected by candela stun
Zofia - same with capito but maybe a little ball that stuns or explodes idk
Dokabi - 1 hack, either call or hack cams. If call, short call time and short hang up time. If cams, only default cams can be used for a minute (or something) and can’t see other cams (so needs to hack echos phone to see yokais or if doc put a bp down, hack doc’s phone, etc) tbh that cam part might be a good dok nerf
Lion - short ping if moved, and longer time to stop moving, only 1
Finka - 1 boost and can’t heal status effects, and can’t help downed teammates, but can still heal for 20(?)
Maverick - 1 charge of a flamethrower, burns fuel fast, and longer time to blowtorch a hole into a reinforced wall or sum
Nomad - smaller AOE, and only 1 of them, and has to throw them
Gridlock - 1 can of smaller track stinger, so more movement through them and less damage, and less of them
Nook - can be used for 10 sec, and can be glitchy even when not running
Amaru - 1 grapple, shorter range, so can only be used on hatches or balconies (like in Oregon) or it could be used for a faster repel time
Kali - gets an under barrel lance that has 2, and needs to be within 15(?) meters for it to work, or else it falls bc it’s heavy. Also takes a bit to reload
Iana - drone becomes clone of recruit. Moves drone around, and defenders HAVE to shoot the drone to destroy clone, and that drone is gone. It’ll be pretty obvious that it’s a clone too btw
Ace - same thing with thermite, but it needs to be manually started
Zero - drone becomes 1 cam, can’t penetrate reinforced walls or hatches, but can pierce soft walls etc. and 3 shots and then a regular camera
Flores - 1 drone becomes rcxd, can’t jump and has a 4 second countdown. Also isn’t bullet proof after countdown ends
Osa - 1 see-through shield, once placed can’t be picked up, and takes a mag to destroy (like Azami kinda)
Sens - 1 sens roll thing that has a short travel distance and last for 10 seconds
Grim - 1 canister of bees, always bounces and gets 2 pings
Brava - same thing, no jumping, 1 drone gets turned into said gadget, but can only hack 1 electronic gadget, and can’t be controlled (but brava CAN control it bc she lent him her code or sum)
Ram - so either 2 drones get turned into her gadget and only last 5 seconds, or he gets one (courtesy of ram) and keeps his drones, but it’s not bullet proof, gets broken by arunis and last 5 sec (has to be placed either way and can’t be thrown)
Deimos - 1 op can be tracked, recruit switches to his secondary, and either it’s like Deimos but last shorter, and if u go into a mute jammer or vigil it stops tracking even if you popped it when they weren’t, OR both the op being tracked AND recruit are live pinged, or both ops are delayed pinged
Hope yall like my ideas, and lmk if yall wanna see my defending ideas, bc I have more balanced(?) ideas for him over there

2024.05.29 02:29 DJ_L3G3ND Any Advice/Warnings For Multiplayer PVE?

Im working on a third person shooter that plays a little like doom, just run through rooms of enemies shooting them down and collecting items, and Ive been replicating everything as I go, for a potential co op mode, but is there anything I need to know in terms of optimisation for lots of enemies? Ill of course be culling them properly and stuff, but Im wondering if just having so many in a map will completely kill the server or something. Their ai is pretty simple, mostly just shooting at the player or running up to them for melee attacks, but of course they have a lot of pathfinding going on and extra little events.
This is also important to consider for mapmaking, I can make more, smaller maps rather than big long ones all at once if that would help, or find opportunies to clear up all the previous enemies, things like that. I could also use some advice on optimising lots of enemies for general performance too, not just for multiplayer. Currently it can handle about 30 enemies at once in one place before fps starts to drop too much.
Also, Im planning to eventually release it to steam, so Ive been using the steam networking setup

Seasonal Allergies Immunotherapy
Hi I’m planning on applying for OCS when I graduate in May. But im currently taking allergy shots for my seasonal allergies. I would have no problem pausing them during basic etc. Resuming when I’m past training, but is this something I have to do? Is it worth having to get a medical waiver for it? Do I need to tell my recruiter?

Currently in the process of reenlisting as a prior service who was chaptered out in AIT for SI. Submitted and turned over all my paperwork to my recruiter and awaiting MEPS. My recruiter said this is the longest part of the waiting game from his experience. How long should I be expecting to wait realistically? I would ask my recruiter but I feel like I've bothered him enough over the past few weeks lmao. - Thanks!

Army National Guard recruiter says at MEPS you can choose from several dates to start basic. Is that accurate?
If so, typically how many dates are there to choose from and how far in the future? I have a great civilian job, so would like to know my date as far in advance as possible.
Edit: would go on to traditional state OCS (yea, I know the internet’s opinions on it but it fits my life really well) afterwards.

I've got 4 years active and 3 years guard under my belt and I've always put in to my tsp to get the match. I know you need 8 years to keep the matching, but my unit has drained what little motivation I had left for the army, and I've decided I'm done. I'm curious if anyone can help me figure out if there's any option that will help me keep my tsp matching besides a 1 year extension. I doubt the IRR counts towards 8 years, and from what I understand, the inactive guard is simply a pause button. So instead of pushing me to 8 years, it's just delaying my 7th till next year or something. I'm also wondering if a future federal job would contribute to that 8 years or if it has to be all concurrent. Thank you for any help or any resources or links yall can send me to figure this out.

I was wondering if I could join the army with depression, anxiety, and OCD. All diagnosed. I have no suicide attempts or anything like that, no inpatient care either. All of these are somewhat mild and manageable, and I haven't been on any medication. But that was another concern of mine, if I was to get on any medication, would that disqualify me? Thanks a lot.

I called him the earlier this week and he said he Kentucky or Kansas (I didn’t hear him well and forgot) doing some training I honestly just don’t know what to do I’ll graduate from high school in a few weeks and I probably have a month after that before my parents kick me out any advice?

Hey all, I wanted to get some insight on whether you all think I would be able to enlist with Crohn's. I've seen online that it's generally marked as an "unwaivable medical condition" but sometimes goes on a case by case basis. My IBD is very mild, I honestly forget that I even have the damn disease because it doesnt effect my daily life at all. I have it managed by taking an 8-week biologic but have gone on extended breaks from it before due to insurance reasons (roughly 2-3 months without any meds) and had no flare ups or any issues of the sort. However, my doctor is thinking of switching me to a daily pill (Rinvoq). I don't have any food sensitivities like a lot of Crohn's patients have (caffeine, alcohol, dairy, etc.) and have never had any surgeries nor does my GI doctor think i'll ever need one. I wanted to enlist for a 17C contract as im already in college for tech anyhow, I'm not sure if that would effect my standing. However, dream MOS is 18X but I figure that may be tougher to get by a recruiter. Any advice or thoughts? Army has been my dream forever and I don't want to have to give it up, so I'd really do anything haha.

I have read a few horror stories where someone enlisted with X,Y, or Z in their contract, but after basic they where told something else and could not confirm the original. For example, someone claims they had a specific location through Option 19, only to later be told they are going somewhere else.
My first question is: has this happened to anyone here, and if so and how was it resolved?
My second question is: after signing your contract, how do you gain acess to it later? Do you receive a physical copy for yourself? Can you download a copy? Is there someone you can ask in the Army to retrieve it for you? Will it be acessable on a portal of somekind?
I am considering enlisting with option 19 and the location is very important to me. Thank you!

Is a bonus worth choosing the Army over the AF?
In general, I’ve heard that the army’s QoL is less than that of the Air Force. However, the army has way more jobs w bonuses that I’d be interested in. And it’s the same or similar jobs as the Air Force, but w a bonus. I know the Basic Training for army is also longer, but a bonus can be convincing. I have the same question, but in regards to joining the navy as well. I want to focus on my education during my enlistment & get my bachelors & id also like travel opportunities. I haven’t taken my ASVAB yet, it’s scheduled the 16th. I scored rlly well on the PiCAT, and according to those scores I qualify for some army jobs w a bonus. I know it’s not as simple as that, and it’s a whole process & based on what’s available. Just want some opinions on if I was offered an army job w a bonus as opposed to the same/ similar Air Force job without, would you consider it worth it based on your experience?
I already got some answers from a post I made about this, but moderator deleted it and said to comment here. But any additional info/ insight is greatly appreciated. I want to make the best choice for my future in the case that I don't want to do 20 years.

Hi everyone! I’m a high school student planning on joining the military. I’m Muslim, so I want to be sure that whichever branch I join is accommodating to Muslim needs. If it changes anything, I’m planning joining through the ROTC route.
My main concerns are, does the Army give beard waivers for Muslims? Is it possible to take short breaks throughout the day to pray? Can you fast during Ramadan? Can you be provided with halal (no pork/no alcohol) food?
Also, I’m interested in infantry or armor (or any kind of ground forces officer in general). Would these accommodations interfere with being selected for these careers or being mission ready? (Such as a beard, fasting, etc.)

So my recruiter told me that I have to get a lease first, but the thing is, is that we don't have one with our landlord. It's more like an oral lease and he's a slumlord who never tries to communicate with any of us. That being said, my recruiter then said that I should find a lease online and edit it to where I state that I'm paying the rent to my sister instead (who has a valid ID) He also stated that my sister and I have to go to a check-cashing place to get it notarized. Is this all ok to do and will the BHA be approved? Also if it's approved, does this mean that the rent we pay which is $1,365.50, is going to be paid for while I'm away and how exactly??

I just got told that I cant enlist for 2 years after my waiver got denied for a history of depression. I stopped feeling depressed last August but got officially cleared into remission in February. I was told theres no point in a consult and the most I can do is reach out to a congressman. Other than reaching out to a congressman, is there really nothing I can do?

Questions about Virginia National Guard
I want to do OCS! Now here’s my confusion. My recruiter is saying that the moment I swear in is the moment my contract is going to start and will count towards that 6 year! So, if he is right, I will basically complete 2 years training if I do state OCS. But I would like to have more control on what branch I get! My top 3 are: cyber warfare, signal, and intel. Should I do accelerated in that case? Also how likely am I to get one of those aforementioned three if I do state OCS of 18 months? My bachelor was in Computer Engineering, and I am currently enrolled in ASU for master’s pursuing Computer Science! Will I get that 24k a year tuition fee because he said there’s a possibility I might get it since it’s fully online? Can I get tuition assistance and loan repayment both? Does getting either one incur additional service time?

So my husband is going to meps next week. he has 2 different sets of scars on his left arm. He works at a mobile home plant building houses. One was from when he got caught on a nail so it's a little deeper looking and another was from some sheet metal at work. He didn't disclose it to his boss because he works on a line and it would've put his team behind so he just put some bandaids on it and went about his day and cleaned it up when he got home. This was about 1-2 years ago. What is his meps experience going to be like? They aren't self harm obviously but we've heard horror stories about the doctors at meps not believing people and DQ them. He honestly forgot about telling his recruiter and his recruiter has already sent in all his medical history and got him scheduled for meps. Should he still go ahead and tell his recruiter or just wait and disclose it at meps?

I'm currently in process Enlisting in the Reserve, while holding an associate's degree in mechanical engineering technology, with some side education in programming. While I am working towards my bachelor's degree, I'm looking to pick an MOS that will help my career, or at the very least, be interesting. I don't remember my scores, but my Recruiter told me whatever I pick, my score won't be the limiting factor.
Top of the list for career jobs is 15 series, from what I've heard from currently enlisted in my friend group, wrenching on aircraft in general is a fast track to a cushy job on the outside with my education. 25 series looks boring but useful as anything IT/electrical complements my degree. On the more interesting side, I was looking at 91 series, either 91F or 91P.
Am I going anywhere wrong with any of these jobs? Anything I should be keeping in mind?

25D or 35T I just wonder which MOS would be better for career. I am really interested in IT. I know 25D is not entry MOS. Let’s say you meet requirements for both MOS. If you stay as enlisted side, what would you recommend?

Hi all,
I am a permanent resident here is the US, and last week I finished my ASVAB mock test with a 95 on my AFQT. The recruiter says I am eligible for everything that doesn't require a security clearance which is kind of a problem as my dream MOS are the 35-series and 17-series (As both of these are locked behind clearance requirement)
After some thinking, I narrow down to the following, but there are still too many so I hope I can get your feedback on what I am doing. My aims are: a/I want something that will translate into the civilian world well if my time in the army doesn't go well, b/I want an MOS that can advanced through warrant or becoming a commission officer if my time in the army does go well, and c/I want to push myself to the limit and break out of my comfort zone to see where I can go. If I sound arrogant, please forgive for that: I am just trying to be as careful as possible. I am nearly reaching my thirty, and I want to take deliberate steps because I no longer have the luxury of youth and family to try and fail.
The MOS are:
11-series, 12B and 12D: I have a soft spot for these despite knowing they don't translate into the civilian world. But in my heart somewhere is a wild child that wants to test my physical prowess and wants to blow things up. I do know my knees and lower back will hate me for picking this.
15 series: With exceptions to 15C, 15J, and other works related to flying or being mechanics of sensitive equipment, I can be an aircraft technicians. I read that there are demands for airplane mechanics but I don't know much about this field other than a/I got to repair planes, b/people seem to hate it because you have to sign a long contract if you become a warrant.
68A: I did see this MOS getting recommended a lot but after reading its description, I am not very sure if I want to do it either both in the army or afterwards. I must also admit I don't have a good insights onto the day to day life of this job. Can someone shed some light about this MOS for me?
68C: Becoming a nurse seems like a very safe choice out of the military given that the BLS projects nurse to be in high demand and being able to take care of your family sounds like a big plus to me; however, I don't know if I like being a nurse. My parents were doctors, and having seen the hospital environment I can say I am not a fan. I also look into 68A but BLS prospect for it didn't seem good, and the training on 68E, 68D, and 68V look a little bit too short. Do you really become a dental assistant just with 10 weeks of training?
68W: I must admit, I have a soft spot for 68W as it allows me to be both learn some medical skills and be on the field. However, I do notice that 68W only translates to paramedic/EMT post-army, while 68C translates to becoming a nurse (which is more valued and regarded as "better" than paramedic or EMT and thus in higher demand)
88H, 92A, 92F, and 92Y: I pick these because, according to BLS, there is a projected increase need for people in warehousing and transportation. From my limited understanding of the fields, you will be in charge of handling logistics such as maintaining unit inventory, ordering supplies and weapons for your units, etc. but I am not very sure on the difference between, say, 92Y and 92A.
So, can you give me a suggestions? May anyone who has been in these MOS share their experience to help me pick? What are some of the MOS I miss?
Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,

How can i improve my chances of success after the military?
I'm going to meps in 2 weeks and im shooting for a 25 series mos. 25H was what was available at the recruiters after i took my practice asvab. I'm not the brightest bulb but, hey, I'll take it. Aside from college ,which i want to continue to pursue throughout my time in the army (or after depending on my mental fortitude once i'm actually in,) how can i set myself up for success in the civilian world? Any input from past 25h or 25 series who somehow translated their career into decent paying jobs will be much appreciated.
I'll add I'm only joining the army for the college benefits and free training as i come from a poor household and have no other feasible way to pay for it.

Hello everyone,
I was recently laid off from a $64k job, and honestly, I'm not too upset. I was already feeling burnt out and unhappy, staying primarily for the promised educational benefits to facilitate a career change, which obviously fell through with the job loss. Now, I'm considering my options and the military as a new path has been sounding appealing to an extent. The VA loan and GI Bill are particularly enticing because they would help me pursue a degree without getting into debt, and enabling the career change I've been considering. And the thought of being able to buy a house at this age/economy seems awesome.
At 28, I'm weighing the implications of joining now, especially considering the pay cut and spending four years AD without the guarantee of going overseas which for me would make it much more worthwhile. Also, I'd likely be one of the older members among younger peers, which is another factor to consider. My entry rank would be E3 due to my associate degree told by the Air force recruiter I met, but I'll need a moral waiver for a misdemeanor I had at 18, which might limit my job options not to mention she told me I would have to be at the disposal of whatever the Air Force wanted me to do? Which I am assuming means that I could enlist for one thing that they tell me nope get your doing this. The Air Force recruiter told me that I would be just fine and I would be able to get in as long as my ASVAB score is high enough.
I'm torn about whether to commit to AD and save myself or a longer term in the military via reserves but still stuck in the same loop of feeling in fulfilled, unable to afford university and in a place I would rather leave. Insights from anyone who joined the military later or faced similar decisions would be incredibly helpful.
Thanks for any advice!
P.S I am also ok with the idea of the military as a career as I would still be able to retire earlier than many of my peers if I pursue the 20 year route..

So now I’m here before you all to ask… what’s some advice you could give someone looking to do 20. Like what’s steps would you take if you could go back to make the most of your Army career? Any suggestions to help make the correct steps in my new career path?

Going back in. Needing some suggestions on different MOS.
So when I was in the first time I was a 25U. I was 16 when I swore in to secure my mos and left at 18YO. I’ve decicided to go back in. Im picking between 19 jobs, I qualify for all of them as I keep my old asvab scores. I scored over a 105 in everything so I have a pretty big list to pick from. These jobs have good jobs outside of the army and that’s my angle, I know 25U translates to a good job outside of the army but it’s not my cup of tea. So any info on the jobs in the army and civilian life for these mos would be greatly appreciate. The jobs are: 68L 68X (specifically because I want to help vets who are/have suffered) 88H 35F 25B 35M 35G 35L 88K 88N 88U 27D 31E 12M 15Q 15N 25U 88L 88M

Background: Greencard holder, 6yr+ experience in IT field. No degree. Married.
Always wanted to join the military and finally have the opportunity to do so.
What I want to experience from the military;
I want the opportunity to grow in the IT field and have military experience and later on attain a contractor job in overseas installations. Very interested in being able to move overseas for a few years specially Japan.
My biggest interest is to grow in my career + experience other countries.
Recruits have also told me that for active duty they are allowing first duty station to be chosen because the army apparently has a shortage of people joining so they want to motivate people to join by allowing them to choose duty stations. This has made me consider going active IF they aren't lying about this + the job security has always been a plus to me.
My primary plan was :
Going reserve, getting my citizenship while in basic training, changing my mos to 25B then finding government contracting job overseas preferably (Japan) and changing my unit to Japan to drill there (Camp Zama). Overall my biggest goal is to move overseas and be in the IT field.
What is the best route? Advice is greatly appreciated in advance:)

Vision Waiver Acceptance Probability
So I’m wanting to enlist as an 11x OP 4in the army, went to MEPS a few weeks ago, and am currently waiting on a current injury to be waived. I’m just kind of worrying about my vision waiver. Recruiter said we have to wait for this to be cleared first, then we can launch the vision waiver.
What’s the probability that a vision waiver will be accepted with Visual Acuity of 20/30 20/50 corrected vision. I understand everything is case to case, I’m just kind of worrying that it’ll end up being denied.

What are the odds of getting a waiver for ulcerative colitis? I was EPTS’d out in march 2023 after being diagnosed while I was at 30th AG. My GI said I was in remission as of jan of this year. I take 4 Lialda pills a day and get an entyvio infusion every 2 months. I feel perfectly fine now though. Scored a 74 on the asvab.

Background: Greencard holder, 6yr+ experience in IT field. No degree. Married.
Always wanted to join the military and finally have the opportunity to do so.
What I want to experience from the military;

2024.05.29 01:44 roc_cat 26, EUW, looking for 23+ buddies to run survival or co-op games with

Hey lads, I'm not european but I live here for a bit, since I hopped regions it's been hard to find mates to play games with. Im ideally looking for someone(s) who's 23+ and has technical interests beside gaming, with the eventual goal to form a small group of good friends who spend time gaming together.
I want to look for friends or a small group (max 5 people) to regularly run pvp or co-op games. This includes any kind of survival or co-op game, like rust, RPGs like Baldur's Gate III, or even racing games like Assetto Corsa. I'm willing to buy games if it is worth a few hours.
A bit about me:
I've been described as chill, i get along easy though I can get quiet, I enjoy the occasional dark humour but have low tolerance for repeated racism or intolerance.
I've clocked thousands of hours in competitive FPS titles, am myself a retired semi-professional player, but I'm mostly retired from competing now and am looking for a slower change of pace as I'm maturing, but I can still be quite competitive when needed. I'm mainly trying to dip my feet into other genres outside my comfort zone, so if there's something you're really passionate about, I'd gladly indulge.
I study and work besides my personal projects so I don't see myself spending all day on the game, but would gladly make time for you as well. I do try to avoid extremely grindy titles like warframe though.
I speak fluent english and can carry a conversation in german though I tend to get shy. I do speak a few other languages too, so we can find something you're comfortable with.
Shoot me a DM if you're interested in running something together! :)

2024.05.29 01:07 Derpkrate Thoughts on if/how Data Engineering could impact my cs career?

What are your thoughts on how accepting a Data Engineering role might impact my career as a software dev (if at all?) to
I've been working as a software engineer for 6 years, but with an abysmal reply rate on applying to software dev / web dev jobs recently, I started applying to other software-adjacent roles (devops, data engineering/science, etc) bc fck it I'm desperate and not too picky right now lmao.
Somehow found my way into a job offer with a data engineering role, but I'm not sure this is what I want to do long term. I'll be giving it a solid shot before looking for a different job, but I'm curious if I'll be shooting myself in the foot at all by taking this role instead of holding out for a normal software dev job.
Personally I don't think it should have a major impact, but idk how recruiters think so I could be totally off the mark. I've seen people talk about how DevOps roles can kinda pigeonhole you into more DevOps work, so I'm curious if data engineering might have a similar effect.

2024.05.29 00:11 JayD8888 Daily Weapon Discussion Day 17: The Dolch 96 (+Claw and Precision)

Daily Weapon Discussion Day 17: The Dolch 96 (+Claw and Precision)
Howdy Hunters!
I have a banger for you today. One of the best weapons in Hunt. Maybe even THE best weapon. In the real world the Mauser C96 and in Hunt the Dolch 96!
In Todays thread id like to discus the base Dolch, the Dolch claw and the Dolch Precision. I decided to include the Precision here because it plays effectively the same as the 1 slot versions but is just allround better. The deadeye version will feature in a future post with all other deadeye weapons.
The Dolch is 10 round semi automatic pistol that shoots prototype ammo (basically medium ammo but only resupplies from special ammo boxes) and has access to FMJ and Dumdum special ammo. Damage is on the medium side compaired to other pistols, but it has the fastest cycle time of any weapon. Recoil is quite heavy though so accuracy may be a problem if you spam it. Reloading is a slow 1 bullet at a time process, but when you are all out you can do a stripper clip reload to instantly load all 10 bullets. Finally it has the second highest velocity out of all the single slot weapons, only surpassed by the sparks pistol.
Lets dive right in with the base Dolch. There was a time where this thing was absolutely unbeatable and downright OP, but it has received a couple nerfs since then and in my opinion now its in a good spot for its price. Speaking of price, this thing is going to run you 690 dollars which is the most for any pistol in Hunt. Dispite this crazy price tag i like the Dolch a lot. The 2 tap is so fast. You can also fish for headshots with a 10 round mag and the velocity makes it really nice up to medium ranges. There really isnt much of a downside here. Recoil is a bit heavy but good players can control it. The ammo is a bit harder to find but you can bring ammo boxes and finally its expensive, but that will just limit how often you can run it and not your performance while you do. Overall this is the best pistol in the game in my opinion and its not really close. The price tag is what keeps this from being played all the time and that is probably a good thing.
The 1 slot variant is the Dolch claw. It will add a little blade to the handle that modifies your light and heavy attack with more damage and a medium bleeding effect. Overall a nice little upgrade over the base Dolch. For only 20 dollars more its just better, but it doesnt have any nice skins... so is it really worth it? you be the judge of that ;)
Finally for variants i wanted to touch on the Precision. When i said earlier that it may be the best gun in the game... well this is why. It is a base Dolch with an even faster cycle, less recoil, beter hipfire and much less sway. This makes it really good at all but long ranges. Hipfire is very strong in close range while the very good sway together with pretty high velocity makes it a headclicker at medium range. Its also only 40 dollars more but is balanced by being a 2 slot weapon. If you have quartermaster then this is the best secondary you can possibly bring in my humble opinion.
Lets talk about ammo. Up until recently it didnt have any and maybe it should have stayed that way. adding special ammo is a pretty significant buff to the Dolch that really put it back into prominance. Regardless of that we have it now so lets talk about dumdum first. This is just really nice. Medium ammo applies medium bleed and it covers some nice break points. The bleed also applies great pressure and the fact that base ammo is already special ammo makes this less of a sacrifice in terms of ammo economy. The only thing you lose is penetration, but if you use it in close ranges it should be well worth the tradeoff.
Then there is FMJ. As always this is amazing. It retains damage much more at range and it can pen a whole lot of things. You should always bring either dumdum or fmj imo and both are very powerful. Where i would probably prefer dumdum on the 1 slot Dolches, i would take the fmj with the Dolch precision to be better at medium ranges. Regardless i dont think you can really go wrong with either of these.
For pairings take anything that covers long range. Any long ammo rifle is good here. The classic meta loadout of Mosin + Dolch isnt meta for no reason. Its really really good. With the Dolch P you can do a lot of things and id say very few of them will be wrong.
Perks? Well there isnt much here. Bulletgrubber will work on the dolch but its not very necessary imo because of the stripper clip reload, which you want to do most of the time. Obviously get quartermaster if you run the Dolch P, but other than that you are good to go even on a lv 1 Hunter.
Thank you all for reading and i hope to see what your experiences with this weapon are! Do you run it often or is it too expensive for you? Do you feel like special ammo was a good idea for the Dolch? Let us know!
Happy chatting and ofcourse Hunting everybody :) I will see you all tomorrow for the next one!

2024.05.29 00:07 afficone Snipers are actually really good

I'm playing a gunslingenetrunner build on Very Hard difficulty. Currently level 42, street cred 50, 20 Int and 20 Cool.
Is it just me or are snipers straight up OP? I have a tier 5 SPT32 Grad with a 300% headshot damage and 60% armor pen. Literally almost everything just dies in 1 shot to the head because it deals 2.5k damage per shot. My cyberware is mostly for quickhacks, even though I don't even use them that often.
I just hide behind something, shoot, reload and shoot again until I clear all enemies. For bosses, I just run around while reloading. Nothing else seems to be as effective as snipers. Am I making the game too easy for myself??

2024.05.29 00:03 Trexmanovus Why people/systems believe in “Colour Revolution Theory”, and to the extent why conspiracies are the phenomena that they are

Quoting from the video How to kill a God
A Colour Revolution is just whatever revolution that exists in the world and in history, that Puttin & those who think like him believe is the fault of the CIA, as such the definition of what exactly is a Colour Revolution has to keep being changed so that the end goal proving it's all a CIA-OP remains intact. (...) You're not finding the common connection between everything and using that as the basis of the conclusion, you're starting with the conclusion you want, and admitting anything which disproves it, and also distracts from the fact that you've made the connection between flying & evil and refuse to explain. But that's the thing – that connection never needs to be made. The connection is taken on faith that it's there. If it can't be found it's not because it doesn't exist, it's because you fail to find it that connection can never be proven to not exist because Color Revolution Theory is not an academic or a scientific study – it's a conspiracy theory. It's a conspiracy theory that has been painted with the veneer of just enough clever sending scientific woowoo terminology to give it the air of legitimacy so that you go into it already believing that the foundation work that all things that fly are evil, has already been concluded by serious experts. So the end bit the CIA is responsible is the only bet you're allowed to question.
LazerPig described weak signals – or more accurately speaking, intelligence & counterintelligence weak signals. Weak signals are the core axiom pillars why the concept of secret police oand secret services exist in the first place – it's their raison d'être. If you're against that, guess who's the next suspect (maybe terrorist) on a hidden list of scrutiny, threatening national security™...
It's a circular reasoning:
Isn't it nice the world we live in – and with whom we share it? Isn't it cute how there are healthy people who – by their own volition – concocted schemes & formulas to self-enforce upon themselves mental illnesses (that they don't have) to justify everything; including their monthly paychecks, fees, and the occasional hidden bribes?
But, it's paranoia. It is paranoia. It's paranoia dubbed in clever sending scientific woowoo terminology to give it the air of legitimacy(sic). It's how The System™ self-enforces itself to exist, disregarding what that system is, how it operates, what's its ideology (if it does have one in the first place), what are its interests. It's the self-licking ice cream cone. It's why dictators/authoritarians with their socio-political, economic, and enforcement (police, secret police, secret services, special services etc.) machineries are obsessed with destroying everything they see a threat & where they think know there's a threat. It's why they wake up in the morning deciding how to ruin lives. It's why their family & friends/community (awwww, there it is; there's that family values again) can afford all those fancy cars, villas, mansions, offshore accounts/properties, chic private university degrees etc. It's why (and how) their aforementioned machineries fill the hours for their monthly/quarterly performance reports, from being fired and/or thrown out the window, hoping to get a pension at the end of their tenure besides what they've stolen. It's the formula for how (and why) they justify their monstrous existence instead of shooting themselves in the head, since everyone else is chickenshit scared to do it.
There are several Wikipedia articles describing weak signals but, oddly, there isn't an English one. Closest are SWOT, risk management, and failure of imagination.
What French wikipedia says:
Signal faible – Weak signal
Weak signals are elements in the perception of the environment, whether opportunities or threats (SWOT matrix), which need to be listened to in anticipation, known as [information] monitoring (surveillance state?), with the aim of participating in the development of forward-looking choices with a view to establishing a strategy and reducing uncertainty. The use of the concept of ‘weak signal’ is expanding, although its relevance remains open to interpretation.
According to Igor Ansoff, the founder of this concept, the Strategic Early Warning System (SEWS) methodology uses weak signals to analyse partial and fragmentary information provided by the environment. This analysis sometimes complements an analysis of major trends. Weak signals are low-frequency signals, or even signals which are not apparent but which are deduced from a piece of information or a fact. SEWS is not confined to geopolitical and technological analysis, but increasingly to financial analysis.
The importance of weak signals lies not in their perception, which is rarely at first sight, but in the contrasting reactions they trigger, helping to imagine dynamic scenarios. Contrary to popular belief, weak signals are above all extrapolations of deductions, particularly in directions that are a priori impossible or even detestable. More concretely, capturing weak signals involves going beyond an initial level of appearances, information or reactions to look for ‘augmented’ data. The journalistic techniques of gathering and processing information used for this purpose make it possible to collect a great deal of data. This data must then be validated and re-interrogated before being used to build a development or management strategy.
The detection of weak signals is the subject of various corporate monitoring processes: technological, competitive, commercial and environmental, social, societal, etc. monitoring, as well as economic intelligence. Weak signals can also be detected outside any corporate logic, which means that monitoring can be supplemented by awareness-raising. Detecting weak signals is a necessary task for companies and organisations (police? secret services?): the main risk for them is not to take risks.
And to use a couple of poignant quotes:
“Trust, but verify.” “The fact that you are free is not your achievement, but rather a failure on our side.”
“If it were a fact, it wouldn't be called intelligence.”
Moving on...
The reason why God-Country-Family is such an effective way, of manipulating people, is because when the world becomes too overwhelming, the average person retreats back to what is important to them – which is their personal morals, the place they live, and their family – and so long as nothing is directly affecting those three things, then, they will rarely go out of their way to care about anything else outside of that scope. A lot of people couldn't give two shits about children dying in other countries, but when it's your family, who is under threat, that's when the knives come out. And that's what's actually happening in these revolutions and people who thought they were progressing towards a better life, suddenly, find out that they're not, and not only are they facing a lifetime of gradually declining living standards under some arsehole, but so are their children, the wall has come down and they have been exposed to the potential of a better life & a better way of doing things, and the idea that the hardship they suffer is required to protect them against the corruption of the West, no longer flies. They've seen the corruption of the West and they want to be part of it because it's better than being part of the corrupt East. (...) Every single Revolution currently described as a Colour Revolution was against a corrupt dictator in favor of actual democracy, not the feudalism disguised as democracy that they'd always lived under. That's not something that is unique to any of the Colour Revolutions, that's just what a revolution typically is they are largely throughout history about overthrowing tyrants.
This is where I have to underline an error in thinking to LazerPig, in relation to Colour Revolutions, and what I've written above.
From the perspective of the System™ as a whole, there are two fundamental fulcrum questions: 1) Who's more likely to die at a protest or revolution – parents or individuals? 2) Who's more likely to kill a policeman, riot policeman, secret police officers, and/or soldiers?
Obvious answer to the first question: individuals. Lone individuals, solo or in some ad-hoc group, are more willing to expose themselves to higher degrees of danger at a protest, or revolution upheaval. It's not definitive that they want to die, but they're one degree or two more than the average person afraid of ending up at the hospital of bruises or worse. Parents – whether under democracy or a dictatorship – will never expose themselves to danger. You might find a mother with her daughter, or a father, or a full family with some cardboard messages but... that's it. That's it. Once tear gasses are tossed and the riot police are starting to get pushy, it's full retreat for them.
... but what about the second question? I cannot recall a protest (let alone revolution) in my lifetime, where people in the crowd – individuals or family people with their kids or their kids waiting for them at their homes – suddenly decide to kill riot police, secret service officers (if they can find them), or soldiers armed with automatic rifles. I don't know how, just decide to lynch or stab them, or something. Or attack buildings associated with enforcement agencies, such as police departments, secret services HQs, military barracks, and kill whoever is in there. I can't recall, not even solo individuals, and they're the ones who supposedly have a higher degree of IDGAF of harm. People at protests, let alone revolutions, do not trust each other. Less so into killing people in uniforms, armour, and supported by tanks, helicopters, and special vehicles.
More than that, what if the protest or revolution fails? More often than not, they do – and the machineries immediately start crushing down, ruining lives in the process. No person, no matter how sane or insane, wants any consequences.
And that's the point that proves the argument; that these authoritarian/dictatorship countries know people are afraid of consequences, they know the System is ruthless, they know all the written & unwritten rules – therefore, it has to be CIA, because only lunatics (right?) have an obvious death wish against obvious self-defeating odds of success. Add the cherry on top that people, especially family types, don't even fantasize in their heads killing police, riot police, soldiers, and secret service officers – or kill whoever on shift at the ministries/departments of internal affairs, defense, barracks, police HQs etc.
In conclusion, no. Normal people & normal parents do not want to die and leave their kids alone, orphans, even to their relatives. Never rely on families for protests & revolutions, because they're the most obvious type of people who don't want to die, nor do they want to suffer any subsequent consequences (they're very exposed). The rhetoric is romanticized (parents wanting a better future for their kids) but the reality of the situation is that parents in authoritarian/dictatorship countries – paradoxically – don't love their kids, at least not at the core level. Sure, they may want in abstract a better life for them but, as it turns out, even former Communist countries favoured sending their people by the millions in wealtheir countries to drive taxis, scrub shit stains off toilets, and pick fruits & vegetables from industrial farms. Or prostitution. Or begging. Or criminality.
Or not wanting for them a universal healthcare service & preventing school shootings, right?
People averse from killing operatives & agents of their governments/states are the proof of evidence for any country that, whoever wants to coup d'etat the system, isn't organic. That's why everything is a CIA-OP to the kremlin orcs, and not something spontaneous – what peon (Приспособленчество & ничего) has a death wish for themselves and/or their families, if that's the case?
I've read the book that was cited but I want to remind a fragment from CGP Grey's video Rules for Rulers:
So potential key supporters must weigh the probability of surviving the cull and getting the rewards, versus the risk of being on the outside of a dictatorship they helped create. In a stable democracy, that's a terrible gamble. Maybe you'll be incredibly wealthy, but probably you'll be dead and have made and have made the lives of everyone you know worse. The math says no. Being on the right side of a coup in a dictatorship means having the resources to get you and your family what the peasants lack: health care, education, quality of life.
What I want to underline is that, this is also true for an authoritarian/dictatorship system, applied inversely:
So potential key supporters must weigh the probability of surviving the cull and keep the rewards, versus the risk of being on the outside of a democracy they helped create. In a dictatorship, that's a horrible gamble. Maybe you'll remain incredibly wealthy after what you've stolen during the previous regime & not be investigated by some democratic tribunal, but probably you'll be tortured to death, and have made the lives of everyone related to you – directly or by conjecture – worse. The math says no.

2024.05.28 23:55 LoneyGamer2023 Any intentional disadvantage class/build ideas?

The game right now is so easy right now that it's pretty boring to be honest. People are not even following build guides anymore and wrecking content. Power creep is pretty out of control too. I even didn't bother with paragon until about level 80 here. still wreck things not even looking at the gear hehe.
For someone wanting maybe some of the difficulty from season 1 back, I was wondering what might be an intentional disadvantage build to shoot for. Like glass cannon would be a must for sure. it could be melee too but I don't want to go too hardcore lol. Can also shoot for unique items over some of the tempered op stuff.
class wise, Rapid fire seemed to have got nerfed mid season(didn't think they'd actually do that), so im lookinto into that one. I was thinking sorcery, too, but they got buffed this last patch, sadly.
Any suggestions? btw I almost called it a handicap build like in golf but Im not sure if that's PC to be honest. Street fighter I often would try to beat my friends with full handicap lol

***TRIGGER WARNING*** Introduce your angel babies who have crossed over to the rainbow bridge
Meet Lexi
We rescued Lexi from the pound at 3mo. She was the last of the litter to be adopted and was facing euthanasia if she wasn’t rescued that week. My friend and I ran a rescue and when we saw her listed on the “euthanasia list”, we went and pulled her. Since the litter was dumped, we didn’t know anything about her history. I was originally only going to foster her until we could find her a permanent home but she became a foster fail very quickly. About 7 months and a lot of growth later she started limping badly on her right back leg. Vet determined it was a cruciate tear and due to her size, he recommended a TTA surgery to repair it. What we didn’t know at the time was that this was the beginning of the end for her.
The surgery went well but the pre-op X-rays did reveal some significant deformities in her legs which the vet suspected was from inbreeding(he’d seen it before). A few weeks post-op she suffered a dislocation of the right knee so she had to have another operation to realign it. A month later she was still in significant pain and was occasionally needing methadone to ease it. We know she was in a lot of pain because she would lay there crying and some days she was struggling to walk. Then 10 weeks after her first surgery, her left knee suffered a cruciate rupture but they couldn’t do the surgery until they stabilised her right knee. He and his team tried everything they possibly could to find a way to fix her leg but everything failed. She’d had 4 surgeries in total.
7.5 months after the first surgery, they came to the realisation that the deformities in her legs were causing all the complications. Even if we chose to amputate her right leg, there was no way to fix her left leg because it had the same deformities. At this point, she was needing methadone daily. I’ll be forever grateful that the vet would make a house call every morning to give it to her, so she didn’t have to go through even more pain getting her in and out of the car. It was too much for her to go through every single day. So after a week of agonising discussions, we had to make the heartbreaking decision nobody wants to make. We gave her the greatest week of her life. Had a professional photographer come out and she did a 3hr photo shoot at a 90% discount. We gave her all the food that dogs shouldn’t have too much of(bacon, fried sausages, yogurt, steak, etc) and we gave her a giant bar of chocolate just before the vet called us in. We got some paw prints made while we were at the vet and hilarity ensued when she excitedly got up to get cuddles from her favourite vet nurse before we could clean the ink off her paws 🤣
The day we said goodbye was one of the worst and hardest days of our lives 💔😭 I wish we didn’t have to make that decision but it would’ve been wrong to let her suffer just to avoid our own suffering 😭😭 I now have her paw print tattooed on me with the inscription “Your wings were ready but my heart was not”.

2024.05.28 22:23 ZexoOnRedditt The main issue with the cars.

A lot of people have said that the cars are too op and that you can't win without them, which is true. And there are many reasons for this. However, I feel like the biggest issue with them and the part of the cars that should get nerfed 1st are the turrets. Without the turrets, such as in past seasons, the cars were balanced because while they had mobile protection, they couldn't hit you back, besides running you over. However, now that they have turrets, if your caught out in endgame without a car, your basically screwed because now they have the ability to shoot at you will a powerful weapon. Don't even get me started on the machine gun turret. Pairing it with nitro, it basically shreds anything in it's path. Also, due to these turrets, players don't have to get out of their cars at all unless they are destroyed. What do yall think?

2024.05.28 22:22 ahnariprellik Is Echelon?

A little off to anyone else?
Like they're a bit more cracked than they should be? They definitely seem to be the MOST played class right now. I mean both their abilities are already kind of OP, especially the radar (seeing as its given to the whole team instead of just the Echelon player.) I dont think its that exclusively but it also seems like Echelon players get a free kill sometimes just for aiming at you. I mean thats some uncanny accuracy to be completely legit 100% of the time and seemingly know exacly how I plan to check a corner EVERY time. I mean there is a cool down for the radar but even when its not up like how? I dont doubt most of them are on PC where accuracy and precision is best on keyboard and mouse but like cmon, you do a full 180 out of the blue after shrugging off a full clip from my primary? Nah. (Ive flanked numerous Echelon, who after getting pumped in the back with a full clip have turned around and killed me in one shot. Mostly with MP7s ironically, and I had full health and none of their team was around, mine was but just starting blindly at us instead of also shooting them but thats a different story for a different day). Also grenade hit boxes are complete garbage. Like Im clearly aimed over a piece of cover but I throw the grenade and it still bounces off the corner somehow? Right...And to be fair, I do better as Echelon Im just playing other factions right now for the challenges but I do feel they need just a few tweaks either way. Like if I die its to an Echelon player 9 out of 10 times. Does the the spiderbot show up on their radar as well? Cause I swear they can always see it coming even if I send it at them while theyre preoccupied fighting my team.

2024.05.28 22:02 Horror_Mushroom5737 My Medic Build [u/Horror_Mushroom5737]

My Medic Build [u/Horror_Mushroom5737]
\"Hold still for a second.\" - Oksana Orlovskaya
Medic is one of the eight playable classes in the World War Z: Aftermath co-op campaign. Dedicated support class with only one goal - keeping teammates alive and fighting fit as long as they can. Their perks mostly revolve around medkits, boosting health, and reviving their allies.
They excel with SMGs of all kinds, can revive their teammates with stim shots from afar, and mend severe injuries in the middle of a battle. Choosing this class is a big commitment, but if you are ready to fulfil your duty, your team will be forever grateful.
NOTE: Please keep in mind that I chose the following perks simply to compliment my playstyle. This may or may not work for you. There are other options you can try!
Extreme Combat Medic
Perks:
Sugar Coated > Candy > Big Pharma
Wheatgrass > Combat Medic > Pickpocket
In The Zone > Secret Ingredient > Swapping Mags!
Sugar Coated grants additional temporary health if you heal your teammate with medkit, which is always good to have (meaning they can take an extra hit or two). Candy will restore one stim pistol shot when you revive a team member - this is excellent in situations when they are far away or hard to get to. You can just shoot a stim shot and instantly get it back. Big Pharma increases the number of stim shots you can carry up to 4. Wheatgrass, because dead medic is not going to be very useful. Combat Medic has a 50% chance to get a free medkit if you can kill 15 zombies in rapid succession. Pickpocket is very similar, kill 15 zombies quickly, and every 20 seconds you will restore one stim shot. In the Zone grants additional 50% damage for 10s to those that were healed either with Medkit or temporarily with stim shot. Secret Ingredient adds a masking effect that lasts 5 seconds to every stim shot. And finally, Swapping Mags! will make reloading SMGs 25% faster. Which is a lot, especially when combined with the Veteran perk.
Leave a comment and please, POST and share your build with others! The more the merrier.
xoxo

2024.05.28 20:43 OwnDraft2065 I know I'm not the first to say it but firecracker is op

Every deck has firecracker , it was litterally a card to make you continue spending money. So you'll need new card in order to counter a card with her. Her Evo is even worse. She can only die to something as strong as arrows. Everyone uses her because they know she's op and takes no skill. Lets see her skills. Ability to jump back from an attack, and shoot a tower in front. Can destroy mobs with one shot and attack the entire bridge with one shot. She can lock on to a target as far as a princess. The jumping back helps because it can change who you're card is attacking. Her Evo is even worse because it continuously attacks after 1 hit.
Crazy all the ones defending her 100% use her probably if she didn't exist they would never win a game.
