So last night my PC blacked out (both monitors went black for ~6 seconds before I manually shut it off with power button. I was playing League and streaming in discord when it happened. I still had audio during the blackout.
Now, my pc won’t post. Mobo cycles red lights and stays on VGA. I have reseated RAM, reseated GPU, took CMOS battery out, to no avail. Both monitors are plugged into the GPU but say no signal. I have worked on different solutions for 10 hours now and am exhausted.
I am at wits end. Please help I don’t want to take it to a shop!!

Hey everyone, as the title says my pc gets stuck when I turn it on.
ryzen 5 3600 b450 steel legend 3200mhz Trident Z 32gb
4 year old system, never changed the cmos battery (which is what I suspect it is) acts very strange when I turn it on, it takes multiple attempts before I eventually get into windows, constantly boot looping, and once it is in the date and time are reset. It also forgets the ram speeds, the fan speeds, and everything else I've customized in bios.
It's a very interesting scenario and definitely seen before but I thought I'd ask and see if there's anything unique to my situation. What do I do here? Do I change the cmos battery (and if so do I do anything other than just put a new one in and turn it on). Any help is appreciated :)

Damn thing is driving me crazy. BIL bought new, I wound up with it several years ago. It's been bored 50 over, has a Honda EX300 Keihin vacuum slide carb. It's in great shape for being 32 years old. Over the years I've had it I put the correct R on, corrected the rear drum brakes/parking brake, the front pads and replaced bad crush washers on master cylinder, etc etc... it has provided good service up until recently. It has never failed to start. But after sitting for a couple of months, it will not fire up.
And before I get the peanut gallery of "check simple stuff first"... I was a 63B (light wheel mech) for the Army Airborne, before and after my service I was an ASE civilian mech, I used to race and maintain my own Honda and Kawasaki motorcycles and ATVs and some lower tier auto racing... I KNOW how to work on stuff.
YES: The battery is good. It's a NAPA Legend, year old, stays on a float charger, resting voltage of 12.5, around 10.2-10.7 under cranking. Spins engine over fas.
YES: The carb is clean, float height at 17mm +/-. Mix screw at 2.5 turns. Stock exhaust, K&N factory size. Stock jetting.
YES: All ground points clean. Brand new NGK DR8ES-L to replace same that was cracked inside the barrel and shorting. Have also tried Denso X27ESR-U and even an Autolite 4163 which it was running on fine before sitting. Outside of engine, grounded against head there's a strong blue spark.
YES: Compression is good at 159-162 PSI.
YES: Valve lash is in spec. 0.12mm intake, 0.15mm exhaust. COLD.
YES: Gas is still good, fresh 3 months ago, stabilized with Stabil 360.
I had to have ankle reconstruction surgery 5 weeks ago, Bayou sat in my shop, on float charger, was fine, ran strong like it always had before I parked it for my surgery.
TL;DR... EVERYTHING seems to check out. Problem is, it will not fire up. Doesn't even act like it's trying. Pull plug and it's wet. Obviously getting fuel. Plug outside but grounded gives fat blue spark.
Any ideas?

So I was playing Legend of Zelda the Minish Cap last night and when I went to save before quitting my batteries finally died. I had been playing with the red light on for about a week now and had been putting off getting fresh batteries because I thought I had more time but it turns out I didn't. So last night when I started saving my game last night and the little screen that says "don't turn off your console" shows up the batteries picked that moment to die. I quickly got some fresh ones but when I powered the machine back on and got to the save screen I was met with another horror as the game announced to me, via three popups, that all of my save files have been corrupted including one that I had 15 hearts in. When I tried to select one of the files it was like I was starting over from scratch. Is there any way I can retrieve my save data without having to start the process all over?

Glory to the emperor! I recently purchased small krieg army, and as I have zero experience with guard, Id like to ask your help for finishing it for 1000 points. I recently acquired a Legend MM LED bracelet that was handed out at the concert in Japan. Figured I'd take a shot at hacking it to make it light up or even wear it to one of their upcoming concerts (if I could get it to light up). I have a question for anyone actually at the show, did they make the bracelets light up in designs or waves or colors? Or did they all light up at once? Admittedly I haven't seen the entire show footage yet so someone will have to tell me the effects. I took it apart tonight and below is what I discovered.
First a disclaimer - hope this post doesn't get taken down, I'm not sure this violates any community guidelines but my posts seem to get taken down a lot. Second if people are interested in this type of stuff I can make a second post with pictures.
So the bracelet is fairly straight forward but doesn't contain any markings from who manaufactured it. It runs on two LR44 mini batteries that are always on till they finally run out of power. It looks like there is a slot for a slip of paper to cover the back contact of the battery which I'm sure they pulled out to activate them as they handed them out.
It's held together by 4 mini Phillips head screws. The only marking on the circuit board is DS2327 v3 - 2024.1.15 / so it's version 3 and made on Jan 15th but the "DS2327" is a mystery. No mfg name on either side. On the board is an infrared receiver module that is mounted in a cutout hole in the center, presumably due to its size with the only marking visible being 333 on the back. Tried to look this up and think I came close with Vishay TSOP 333 IR receiver module (it looks like that w/ 3 solder leads) but I'll need to remove it to see the sides so I can really tell what frequency it operates at. Looking at the spec sheets from Vishay the info I need is printed on the sides and it is mounted in a pass-thru hole cut in the center so you can't see the sides. Done on purpose? Maybe. Pretty smart because the markings will tell you it's operating freq.
The Vishay TSOP 333xx (xx being the frequency) are designed to operate for short burts in a noisy environment. They range from 30KHz to 56KHz on the receiving signal. I watched some videos on LED crowd bracelets and this type has a IR beam that is directed at the crowd to activate specific bracelets where it is pointed. So it can be used for specific patterns or to spell things - so thats why I'd like to know what the effect was.
It has 3 large surface LEDs on top and 3 three-lead LEDs soldered to each side. I haven't applied voltage to them yet to see what colors they are, but the board is marked with RGB test pads, along with 3.3VDC and ground points. I have a feeling due to the grouping of three, they are red, blue and green - which can make almost any color combination.
The board is made up of a lot of surface mount resisters and capacitors, plus a handful of what I think are transistors or power gates. It's a multi-layered board so there are no surface traces visible, but you can see the outline of the circuit paths just beneath the surface. There is only one integrated circuit (IC) on the entire board - and I kind of figured the IC would give away what it was. Kind of...
The IC labeled as U1 appears to be a timing chip that holds a preprogrammed instruction set. Mfg by HDSC it's marked with F005C6UA on the surface. I found a pic of the exact chip after a little searching and it's an ARM Cortex-M0+ processor running at 32MHz. It turned out to be a programable Memory IC EEPROM HC32F005C6UA - it holds a preprogrammed routine (maybe?). There are a lot of leads labelled as timing circuits out and in. Keil.arm.com has a tool called the MDK v6 that I could probably use to pull out the ICs instruction set...again maybe.
I'm only a hobbiest with electronics but I did work in the industry for several years back in 1997 to 2003. There is no way I am going to be able to create an IR signal that activates the chip and accesses the IC controller to send a timed instruction set to each bank of LEDs. But it would be fun to figure out if I wanted to dive deeper. The best I can do with this device is solder some jumpers from the battery +/- points, insert a micro-switch to control power, and then jumper the LED contacts so they just light up when I flip the micro-switch. That would be fun.
The band is flimsy clear rubber with "MM" cut out on each side, if I try to wear it on my wrist I stretch out the band and risk breaking the MM part and ruining it as a collector item. However if I wanted to wear it I could replace the band with a cloth Velcro style since the band is held in by the clamping force between the two halves of the bracelet body. I'm going to order some LR44 watch batteries and find out more. Any questions or comments just ask. If you want to know more I can make a 2nd post with pics. Newbie pc builder here. So when i tried to do POST for the first time, I pressed [DEL] when the first screen has appeared (I wasnt able to take a pic but it has the aorus logo)
I waited for a few seconds and I got into this screen which I attached the pic below, I pressed the “Y” button. I’m not sure if it’s the correct option but that’s what my friend told me since everything is new.
After pressing that, there’s a message prompt that appeared (2nd pic attached) and when I clicked OK, I got into this next screen saying “boot failure detected” (3rd picture attached) with a few options below that I can hover up and down to.
the options are “Load optimized defaults then boot”, “Load optimized defaults then reboot”, and “Enter bios”
I tried clicking and pressing enter on those 3 options, but nothing happens. So I’m stuck and don’t know what to do. Also, which option should I choose among the 3?
I also noticed that I have a red boot light on my mobo.
I tried clearing cmos through the jumper pins and by removing the battery for 5 mins. I also tried to remove the 4th ram and left the other one on the 2nd slot, but still getting the same prompt.
Idk if i could q-flash, I’m not certain if that’s what i should do before being able to access my bios settings. I really just wanted to check my temps and components if they’re working. I don’t have my flash drive yet to install windows.
I would also like to enable expo(?) I’m not quite sure how to do that and what else to do to optimize my pc’s performance. please help and let me know if you need more info. thanks!
