2024.05.29 01:34 Leather_Bag_1916 Who performs the best concerts

Who performs the best concerts
Personally all are great performers but who do you think have the best concerts Daddy Yankee - got to see him at his farewell tour and it was amazing the transitions to go from old school reggaeton to new was so great missed out on songs like pose and en la cama but it was one of the best concerts I been too.
Wisin y Yandel - both amazing performers seeing them 2009, 2011, and 2022 were 10/10 each time they acknowledge the crowd very well and know how to put on a show each time. Love that my nephew met Wisin and they both are very humble.
Don Omar - in my opinion his tour for king of kings tour was the most beautiful reggaeton concert ever seeing him in 06-07 with the versatile to play salio el sol to Angelito was amazing. Got to see him again in NY in 2009 single handily stopped a fight with a mic. Seeing him perform again this year was also great and he plays nothing but throwbacks.
Ozuna - got to see him 2017 during his prime era was a 9/10 just felt like it went by very quick
Tego Calderon - love Tego but he was walking back and forth with his backups doing most signing. I feel maybe performing isn’t his thing and nothing wrong with that Voltio was the one going off on that stage haha
Bad Bunny - el ultimo tour del Mundo the way he has control over the crowd is so insane to me he can sadden the crowd and hype them up with his fingers I remember even the ladies crying because of the fake retirement he’s one of the best performers I’ve seen in any genre.
Farruko- last minute concert turned into one of the funnest concerts ever start to finish was amazing and Pepas is one of the best songs to hear live!
Rauw Alejandro - great performer don’t have anything crazy to say but I’ve just seen better all due respect
Karol G - only know 2 songs from her but I got these tickets for free she was amazing performer i recommend seeing her however good luck if you’re taking the wife or girlfriend hahah

2024.05.28 18:59 MikeTheSecurityGuard THE OTHER SIDE (my first creepypasta)

Hello, my name is Jacob Feenders. It may sound silly, but i have an unusal Hobby. Since my childhood i've been interested in what is beyond death, from watching Ghost when i was only 4, to reading books about paranormal stuff and the afterlife. When i was 19, already living on my own as i wanted my own space and my parents supported me in being independent, i finally began to involve myself even more about studying about the "other world" as some say. I always studied on my own, as i didn't want my beliefs, researches and discoveries to be influenced by skeptics. Thing is, sometime after i moved, something happend in my town, something that sadly became common in our country in the last decades... a school shooting. As i saw on the news, two teens from a High school on the other side of the town, went armed to their school and began gunning down anyone in their way... they killed 6 students and two teachers before turning their guns on themselves before the police could reach them. This event, even if it had nothing to do with me or the people close to me, left an impression on me... years later, i now found myself as a part-time "ghosthunter" going with my friend, Ryan, who i met in a online group for paranormal enthusiasts, after ghost activities and actually trying to make contact. Now you may think you already saw that kind of stuff in a YouTube channel and might be thinking this to be just a scam or faked stuff, but i assure you, we did it for real, from haunted houses to places with strange energies, we used everything to try communication, from ouija-like borads to a microphone connected to a headphone i made with all the knowledge i gathered after years of study, but it was always hard to pick up something clear, something we could actually communicate with, and believe me, we tried a lot of places, we almost fell to scams a lot of times... but a place in particular always remained in my head...the school... i really wanted to go there, to know more, it may sound cold, but back then, for me it was just an opportunity to take my hobby close to home. So i talked with Ryan and, although he didn't agree at first, as it was a too dark of a tragedy for us to play "ghosttalkers" with, i eventually convinced him to do it. The best opportunity arose when the school closed for the summer, we got our stuff ready and waited for the right time. When it came, we went there... little i knew how much this would change me. We got there by midnight, although we were careful for security it was rather easy to sneak in, luckly for us, they left a bathroom window open so we quickly got in. Of course i gathered info about the place and it's dark history, so i knew well how to navigate through the empty school, still... as soon as we entered... it all felt so...eerie...so out of place... it is creepy to walk through any school when it is empty and dark, but this... there was something very off about this place... this feeling immediately got us to pick up the equipment and prepare it as we went straight to the first place i wanted to go: Room 20, where 6 of the victims were killed. The place was turned into a "memorial" area, where eight pillows stood on the floor, representing each victim, a kind of place to reflect the tragedy silently. We took a minute out of respect and got everything ready, soon, we started but... again... we got nothing, we tried calling, tried to use some "spirit attracting" tools but to no avail. After some time, Ryan began to tell me we should leave, as there was nothing there for us and perhaps the spirits may had already carried on to somewhere better. I was disappointed and almost agreed with Ryan, but then, i remembered one place we should go: The Storage Room, right across the cafeteria it was there where the two perpetrators ended their lives before they could be caught. I knew it could be a good one, Ryan was against, of course, but again i insisted until he gave up and agreed. The access door to the room was covered by a blank wooden board, probably to hide it from any student trying to sneak into that area, but it was no challenge Ryan and i hadn't faced before so, after a little struggle, there it was, the door to the old Storage Room that, surprisingly, was unlocked. As soon as we entered, it was completely different from what we expected, instead of finding a place with little air, and a strong musty smell, the place was cold, damp and with a heavy air. Obviously nothing was stored there anymore, wich only gave the place a even creepier feeling. As before, we got the equipment ready, i put the headphones and turned on the microphone, calling out to any soul wandering there... what followed was something i could never expect... "Can you hear me?" I heard from the headphone. My spine froze, i could swear my dark skin went blank. Ryan noticed it, i could see the fear in his eyes and the hair on his arms standing up. It took a few seconds before i could actually reach my voice to speak. "Yes, we can, who are you?" I asked. "I am Lucas... here with Allan". Of course i knew who they were, and as soon as i told it to Ryan he couldn't believe it, we both were having this mix of accomplishment and outright fear. I don't know what led me to ask the next question, as we had a questionary ready and this particular question was among the last ones...but... i think destiny wanted to play this way... "where are you right now?" I asked, and i could see Ryan confused as to why i skipped so many questions, when i noticed my mistake i though i had fucked it all up and that they would not answer anymore but... what i recieved in response... i can only transcribe in exact words... i warn you, reader, what you are about to see here... is something beyond frightening... after a minute of silence, the spirit replied: "Can you get us out? It looks like the school but... it's empty...cold... dark... we can't get out... it feels like we're freezing... outside is all dark... there's a slow, low pitched eerie music... it never stops...when we look at mirrors... we're pale... our eyes are all black and blood leak from them like tears... we can see people... but they look like shadows...they can't see us... we feel every second... every moment... this is not the hell we wanted... this is worse... this is unbearable... we want to get out!... we are sorry!... we are sorry!... please... get us out of here!". As he spoke, the room suddenly began to feel colder and colder, his voice louder and louder on the headphone. Withou another thought, Ryan and i picked the equipment lightning fast and ran out of the room, i took the headphone out of my head and threw it into the equipment bag but i swear i could still hear the spirit's voice... as we got out of the room we froze, the cafeteria and the rest of the school overall was just like how the spirit described. Everything was freezing-cold, outside the windows, where once we could see the lights of the lamp-posts, was now only pitch-black. As we stood there, like statues, our hearts racing madly, we felt something behind us, something colder than the already freezing ambience. We slowly turned to look and what we saw is engraved on our minds forever... near the old Storage Room, two figures stood, their skin as white as snow, their eyes were pitch-black, a desperate expression filling their faces as they raised their arms to our direction, like if they were trying to reach for us. We didn't think twice as we began to run, we didn't even think about the rest of the place or any other details, we ran like if it meant our lives. After running through what seemed like infinite corridors, we finally reached the bathroom with the open window where we came through from. We hopped through it and i couldn't be happier when i fell to the ground and felt the warm grass with the warm wind of a summer night. It was all back to normal but Ryan and I wouldn't dare to spend another damn second near that place.
It has been some days since that adventure, Ryan has since went back to his hometown and told me he would take a very long break from the whole "paranormal" thing. I too took a break, i now spend more time talking to my parents and trying to enjoy my life the best and, above all, trying to be a better person because... after all i saw and hear in that school, after having a firsthand witness of what awaits for people who dedicate their lives to evil... i know it's better that i will never be the same...

2024.05.28 15:10 James_Auto_Transport STOP!!! DON'T GET SCAMMED!!! SIMPLE GUIDE TO ONLINE REVIEWS!!!

As an Auto Transport Broker with over 12 years of experience, I am obligated to help those who are considering to have their vehicle(s) transported. Even if I do not get the opportunity to work with you, I still like to help. Take this advice from someone who takes calls daily from consumers who are scammed and some who have had their hard-earned money stolen.

I SPOKE WITH 26 PEOPLE LAST WEEK WHO WERE SCAMMED BY OTHER BROKERS AND WHY IS THIS???

Over 90% of the consumers I speak with do not read online reviews from sites like Google Reviews, BBB, or Yelp. When speaking with the consumer, I clearly state the following, “Look up all companies on the above sites that you are considering to transport your vehicle(s). Start at Google Reviews and then use BBB, YELP, or other sites as a 2nd opinion. Good and bad companies will have 5 Star reviews, yet companies that lie will have lots of complaints. When you come across complaints for phone calls not returned, orders canceled, and rates being raise (the old bait and switch trick), that means the prices quoted to those reviewers were fake to begin with and it is safe to assume others are being lied to. One (1) price change review is too many. Scam companies purchase 5-Star reviews. To bypass those paid 5-Star reviews, always sort the reviews by the lowest rated

Ask yourself this. If you came across dozens, hundreds, or thousands of reviews for a restaurant which stated, “Rat and roach infested, food always undercooked or cold, dirty utensils”, would you eat or order food from there? I think not. Then why waste your time or trust an auto transport broker who is littered with complaints?

2024.05.28 13:02 Ok_Fortune_9149 MSM slowly shifting the narrative to long GME, don't fall for it.

Edit on top: Because some apes are true regards. I'm SAYING YES BUY, DRS, SHOP, HODL. But don't fall for any fake messages that this is over at any price! Until they're crying it's not over!
Sure very great, now your boomer uncle watching Cramer might buy some shares of GME (I doubt it, because for the last 3 years all they did was talk trash about my favourite company). However its very unlikely these guys will be diamond handed regards, and book they shit, and really look at whats going on. MSM will soon say this is it, the rally or squeeze is over again, at any stupid low price. If they're not crying on TV begging people to just dump the stonk, if there is no panic, buildings being lit up at night, people resigning, congressional hearings, then the price ain't shit.

2024.05.28 08:07 Ok-You-4657 dealing with cat loss: help?

I'm honestly sorry this is a sad post but I really need some help, whether it's cliche or anything i don't care, to deal with grief. My mom's cat (well my mom adopted her but I was there and have lived here my whole life. I'm 23) had to be unexpectedly put down a few days ago. we knew she wasn't doing well and that she possibly wouldn't make it to the end of the year, but having that thrown right there in the appointment and decision broke my heart. Lily was born april 2011, and we had her december 2011-may 2024. My guinea pig passed away (in his sleep) last october and I had him from june 2018-oct 2023. Anything from quotes, poems, 'hey I've been there' and tips to just deal with the grief. I know it won't ever fill the hole in my heart from her passing, but I would like to feel a bit lighter. My other cat Chloe is concerned about me I think and has her own health issues, but thankfully hasn't shown any extreme mourning signs of Lily (they didn't get along lol).
Lily's full story:
Her health was iffy, she got pancreatitis a lot (like once a year but the vets never knew what it was and we went to several different vets until we found this one I trust a lot back in 2022). In April 2023, she faked pancreatic cancer - yes, faked because the tumor turned out to be the rare 5% where it's an abscess cyst. We got it controlled and small, and back to regular business of just monitoring her health and weight, and when she puked which decreased a lot. But she soon followed with worsening IBD (or kitty crohns I call it). We did everything for her and I find comfort in that. Unfortunately, she began to go downhill severely the past week - I was thinking a bad flare up. The vet coming out to say GI lymphoma, an abdominal tumor - metastasis which spread to a tumor in her lungs, felt like hell. It still feels like hell. Making that decision in a 5 minute span is awful, but she was in pain and there was no question that we could not prolong it. As she passed, she farted - an absolute tribute to the chaos and humor she brought that made me laugh through bawling.
it's really hard knowing she only really showed signs the past 2ish weeks - when we noticed her breathing was not good we got her to the vet in 3 days. we brought her to internalist specialists and everything this year, who said yeah you can't really diagnose GI lymphoma but it's the same symptoms of IBD. Besides weight loss, we actually got her to a stable weight and she was healthy for awhile until May (even before she died, she still used her litter box and was unhinged for human food trying to take my hand off and steal my plates). i just can't understand how it spread so quick - her pancreas and pancreas mass were PERFECT, but the tumor in her abdomen - along with abdominal fluid, and the cancer spreading to her lungs in a form of a tumor is so hard to come to terms with. it was right there on the x-ray.
We adopted Lily in December of 2011. My first furbaby, or fursissy, she was chaotic as she was a true Aries. She didn't last more than a few hours in her room. She chased and attacked toes underneath covers at 3am. She made 11 year old me, who was riddled with anxiety over a new being in the house, laugh and cry at the same time. She's doing that now even in her passing - from the time she's scaled the curtains, to her flopping down dramatically, or finding any which way to get to food; bless her heart, she was chaos formed. she was here for more than half of my life, that tabby cat. The hole in my heart can't be filled, replaced, or lessened; but I know she isnt in pain anymore and I'm so, so blessed to have had her here. 12 years I will never regret or forget, and I guess with the stronger the love the stronger the pain.
I just hope she's up there with my guinea pig causing havoc, because he loved her.
thank you for any responses or help.

2024.05.28 05:26 YH_Queen_Clement Admissible Testimonials of State of Loc Nation Citizens

Admissible Testimonials of State of Loc Nation Citizens Victim Impact Statements Cc: Office of Victim and Survivor Rights and Services One of the rights guaranteed under the Sixth Amendment to the United States Constitution is the right of a suspect to confront witnesses against him or her. The Crime Victims' Rights Act (CVRA), 18 U.S.C. § 3771, is part of the United States Justice for All Act of 2004, Pub. L. No. 108-405, 118 Stat. 2260 (effective Oct. 30, 2004). • The right to full and timely restitution as provided in law. • The right to proceedings free from unreasonable delay. Based on the evidence presented regarding Captain Willie Lynch Story and Colonel Charles Lynch law, it's evident that generational damage has resulted from broken homes, domestic violence, unbalanced opportunities in education, unfair targeting by authorities, and systemic oppressions. Injustice 1. Martin Luther King Jr. once wrote, "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly." (Letter from Birmingham Jail, 1963). 2. Nelson Mandela famously said, "I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together in harmony and with equal opportunities. It is an ideal which I hope to live for and to achieve. But if needs be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die." (Rivonia Trial Speech, 1964). 3. Harriet Tubman's words resonate: "I had reasoned this out in my mind; there was one of two things I had a right to, liberty or death; if I could not have one, I would have the other; for no man should take me alive; I should fight for my liberty as long as my strength lasted, and when the time came for me to go, the Lord would let them take me." (Interview with Sarah Bradford, 1865). Children of Generational Kidnapping During the Illegal Transatlantic Slave Trade 1. Frederick Douglass boldly stated, "I appear before you this evening as a thief and a robber. I stole this head, these limbs, this body from my master and ran off with them." (Speech at the American Anti-Slavery Society, 1848). 2. Olaudah Equiano vividly described the horrors of slavery: "The shrieks of the women, and the groans of the dying, rendered the whole a scene of horror almost inconceivable." (The Interesting Narrative of the Life of Olaudah Equiano, 1789). 3. Sojourner Truth's powerful words echo through time: "I have borne thirteen children, and seen most all sold off to slavery, and when I cried out with my mother’s grief, none but Jesus heard me! And ain’t I a woman?" (Ain't I a Woman? Speech, 1851). Racism 1. James Baldwin's poignant reflection encapsulates the Black experience: "To be a Negro in this country and to be relatively conscious is to be in a rage almost all the time." (Notes of a Native Son, 1955). 2. Malcolm X asserted the rights of African Americans: "We declare our right on this earth...to be a human being, to be respected as a human being, to be given the rights of a human being in this society, on this earth, in this day, which we intend to bring into existence by any means necessary." (Speech at the Founding Rally of the Organization of Afro-American Unity, 1964). 3. Rosa Parks expressed her desire for freedom: "I would like to be remembered as a person who wanted to be free... so other people would also be free." (Interview with Rosa Parks, 1995). Identifying current victims of injustice, slavery, and racism can be complex due to the ongoing and evolving nature of these issues. However, here are some examples of groups and individuals who have been identified as victims in recent times: Injustice 1. Uyghur Muslims in China: The Uyghur ethnic minority in the Xinjiang region of China faces mass internment, forced labor, and other severe human rights abuses. The Chinese government has been accused of committing cultural genocide against the Uyghurs. 2. Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar: The Rohingya people have faced brutal military crackdowns, leading to widespread displacement, with many fleeing to Bangladesh and other countries. The United Nations has described the actions against them as a textbook example of ethnic cleansing. Children of Generational Kidnapping During the Illegal Transatlantic Slave Trade 1. Modern-Day Slavery in Various Countries: Human Trafficking Victims, particularly women and children, are trafficked globally for purposes of forced labor, sexual exploitation, and other forms of modern-day slavery. Countries like India, Bangladesh, and Nigeria have high incidences of human trafficking. 2. Qatar’s Migrant Workers: Migrant workers in Qatar, many from South Asia, have faced exploitative labor conditions while working on infrastructure projects, including those related to the FIFA World Cup. Reports include cases of passport confiscation, non-payment of wages, and unsafe working conditions. Racism 1. African Americans in the United States: African Americans continue to face systemic racism in various aspects of life, including criminal justice, employment, housing, and healthcare. The Black Lives Matter movement has highlighted ongoing police brutality and racial disparities in the justice system. 2. Indigenous Peoples in Various Countries: Indigenous communities worldwide, including in the United States, Canada, Australia, and Brazil, face ongoing discrimination, land dispossession, and marginalization. They often suffer from poorer health outcomes, lower educational attainment, and higher rates of poverty compared to non-Indigenous populations. 3. Romani People in Europe: The Romani people, also known as Roma, face widespread discrimination and social exclusion across Europe. They often live in segregated communities and have limited access to education, employment, and healthcare. Rev Dr. Christina Clement's Personal Story Rev Dr. Christina Clement's personal journey epitomizes the enduring struggle against systemic oppression. Married high school sweetheart which lead to broken home marred by abusive relationships, she experienced firsthand the consequences of societal neglect and racial discrimination. Despite her resilience, Rev Dr. Clement faced numerous obstacles, from inadequate educational opportunities to the prevalence of crime and violence in her neighborhood. Her name, Christina, was chosen by her mother as a means of circumventing racial bias and discrimination in employment. This poignant decision reflects the pervasive nature of racism and its impact on individuals' opportunities and livelihoods. Even in the face of adversity, Rev Dr. Clement persevered, advocating for justice and equality in her community. Legal Context: Motion of Default Judgment The time frame for a Motion of Default Judgment to be signed and recognized varies depending on the specific circumstances of the case and applicable legal procedures. However, the delay in addressing such motions can serve as further evidence of systemic oppression within the legal system. Despite the clear merits of the case and the rights afforded to victims under the law, bureaucratic hurdles and institutional biases may impede the timely resolution of legal proceedings, perpetuating the cycle of injustice. By amplifying the voices of individuals like Rev Dr. Christina Clement and acknowledging the systemic barriers they face, we affirm our commitment to combating racial discrimination and ensuring equal access to justice for all. There are thousands of victim statements through poetry, court records, song, movies, etc. The pervasive impact of historical injustices continues to haunt our present and jeopardize the future of generations to come. From the enduring legacy of systemic racism to the devastating effects of substance abuse, such as the introduction of fentanyl to our youth, the toll on our society is immeasurable. Considering these challenges, it is imperative to embark on a path of comprehensive restitution and repair. The proposed remedies outlined in both Volume 2 - International Territory and Volume 3 - National Territory of Revealed the Kingdom of Locs Nazirite Vow continues, targeting a population of 1.4 trillion and 4.2 million respectively, are vital steps toward addressing the deep-rooted wounds inflicted upon our communities. Central to this endeavor is the recognition of the State of Loc Nation as a sovereign state country, entrusted with the governance of over 440 electors. Under this framework, the administration, led by President Rev Dr. Christina Clement, is poised to enact transformative change that aligns with the aspirations and needs of its citizens. Crucially, this transformative agenda necessitates a comprehensive overhaul of our existing constitutional framework. By adapting our laws and institutions to better serve the interests of the people of Loc Nation, we can lay the foundation for a more just, equitable, and prosperous society. As we embark on this journey of healing and renewal, let us remain steadfast in our commitment to justice, equality, and the well-being of all members of our community. Together, we can build a brighter future for Loc Nation and pave the way for a more inclusive and harmonious world.

2024.05.28 02:14 JohnleBon How fake is the art market?

Until yesterday, I had never heard of the tv series 'Fake or Fortune?'.
Fake or Fortune? is a BBC One documentary television series which examines the provenance and attribution of notable artworks. Since the first series aired in 2011, Fake or Fortune? has drawn audiences of up to 5 million viewers in the UK, the highest for an arts show in that country.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fake_or_Fortune%3F
Have you seen any episodes Fake or Fortune?
If so, what do you make of the show?
In the episode I watched, they were trying to determine if some inherited paintings, ostensibly by L. S. Lowry, were real or fake.
The dude who inherited the paintings, from his father, did not have any documents or receipts to verify the legitimacy of the paintings' 'provenance'.
So the experts were tasked with trying to use other means to verify (or debunk) the notion that the paintings were legitimate.
I have to say, it was actually an interesting show.
I'm going to watch more episodes and see if they are all this entertaining.
It turns out, it is acknowledged in the art world that there are forgeries all over the place.
For example, a man who used to run a major art museum in England, wrote a book about forgeries in the art world.
In his opinion, around 40% of all major art pieces on sale at any given time are forgeries.
This includes pieces from 'ancient history'...
One of the things which comes up when looking into all of this is, who decides what it 'real' and what is 'fake'?
If a 'forgery' can look just as good as a 'real' piece, and if it can fool many / most viewers, how is it not real in its own way?
Moreover, how is it not 'art' in its own right?
Have you ever looked into the art fakery topic for yourself?
