2024.05.12 06:03 cudambercam13 Games for building collections
Looking for a free game, something available on a website or from the Google Play store.
Some games I've enjoyed before:
Wallabee: was GPS based, but you could collect from a fairly long range away without having to be at the specific place the collectibles are.
Packrat: card collecting which included crafting
Kitten Cards: another card collecting game
The Everything Game: sort of card collecting
Animal Crossing: trying to collect the different furniture and clothing items available
MineThings: search for items, craft and collect

2024.05.03 03:42 Isnottobeeaten Doing a mix of a crit vats build. Is my stat allocation any good?
planning on going with 2 different options for stat allocation
5/5/8/1/6/7/8 or 3/5/6/1/7/9/9
5 strength for the weapon str requirements (+ implant and the weapon handling perk)
5 perception + the implant for the sniper perk
8 endurance for the health and implants
1 charisma its everyone's dump stat
6 intelligence + implant for extra skill points and some perks like packrat etc
7 agility + implant for the ap and vats related perks
8 luck + implant for better crits
so endgame stats should look like this (if we're counting the special bonuses from the dlcs) 7/6/9/1/7/9/10 the extra point in agility is the free stat point from the lonesome road dlc. traits will probably be fast shooter and built to destroy
the more min-maxy build is the second one
3 strength + implant + reinforced spine and weapon handling will let me play around with anti-mat rifle
5 perception + implant will allow me to get the sniper perk
6 endurance will snag me the strength, perception, endurance, intelligence, agility and luck implant. (not sure how useful subdermal and monocyte breeder will be)
1 charisma
7 intelligence + implant will get me those sweet skill points (if I'm getting concentrated fire I'm gonna need as much as I can get!)
9 agility + implant to get as much bang for my buck (all the ap)
9 luck + implant to get all the crits and fast track my way to getting banned from every casino
end game stats should look like this 6/6/6(+1?)/1/8(+1?)/10/10 not too sure where I'd put the extra special point from the lonesome road dlc since I plan to do that one last (or right before the dead money dlc) intelligence for extra skill points would be nice (since I'll most likely be starved of them the entire time) but by the time I finish the dlc I'll probably be around level 30 or 35 so I'm not sure how useful it would be. If I put it in endurance I'll be able to net myself another implant though so if my DT is low or I need the heals I could pick up the other two implants (because who actually buys the empathy synthesizer?)
Perks will probably be something like sniper, better criticals, grim reaper's sprint and Action Boy. Not too sure about light touch since I usually stick to heavier armour like the elite riot gear which can be paired with a 1st recon beret for +10% crit chance. (tho if anyone has recommendation for crit perks and armour your advice is welcomed)
Early game I'll probably go use the gobi sniper along with That Gun (I've heard it has a high crit chance) and when I get to big MT I'll grab Christine's rifle and start investing into stealth. 45. auto pistol + all the chems if I get into too much trouble. Might also pick hand loader for some of the higher damage bullets since I'll probably have jury rigger by lv 14. Late game I will definitely be using the anti mat rifle (with the explosive rounds for whenever I come across a horde of deathclaws in lonesome road) and christine's rifle for stealth + the gobi rifle if I grab any carry weight perks (or if I decide to play hardcore mode). In the very end if I have any levels remaining and free skills to allocate points into I'll probably pick either melee or unarmed since it looks like fun.
skill allocation will probably be gun, repair and a mix of lockpicking and medicine early game (with a focus on gun since my strength will be low and I'll need all the accuracy I can get) and later I'll branch into things like energy weapons (curse you concentrated fire!) speech and barter (with a focus on energy weapons and barter) then stealth up to 50 (not sure if I'll need it past 50 but I'll look into it)

2024.04.22 01:50 Blueresto Nick V has deep pockets
I'm not playing a strength build, so my inventory fills up quickly. I did not know that Nick (and maybe other companions, but I haven't tested them) could continue picking up items off the ground indefinitely, even after reaching his visible carrying capacity. You have to aim at him, hit the action button to give him a command, and then click on the item(s) you want him to carry. This includes fallen enemies. If you tell him to check out a downed mob, and then click on the mob again, he'll strip everything off that mob, including their armor. This has been a godsend for me. I'm a compulsive packrat, looting everything I find. I'm keeping all the weapons and armor in Sanctuary until I get the scrapper perk.

2024.04.13 06:58 RenAlg Recommendation for Noise Gate to avoid feedback squeal of compressor->drives?
| https://preview.redd.it/4eecw4k9j6uc1.jpg?width=3422&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=91c26e99bc4a2081db8da0cbfc3ce6296bc5f21d Looking for advice on picking a noise gate with effect loop, and pedal order with it. I use the Compressor+->White Light->Packrat together for leads, with smooth distortion and a looot of sustain especially for single notes. The problem is that during band practice and at shows, when my amp and/or monitor is loud enough, the C+->WL->PR gives a nasty feedback squeal when I’m not playing. This makes sense since the compressor is boosting the buzz of my single-coils into the gain pedals out of the amp and back to my pickups. I’m pretty certain a noise gate with effects loop / sidechain will help here. Two main questions: - It looks like some options are: EHX Silencer, Boss NS2, TC Sentry, ISP Noise Decimator II. Anyone have experience with trying to gate this type of feedback noise with a recommendation?
- I want a compressor with an effects loop so that I can put the DMB after the gate output, use the POG output as the gate return, and tbd exactly where to put the gate input/send (either before or after the compressor). I’ll experiment once I get a gate to play with. Thoughts on ordering?
Here's the whole chain: - Fender Telecaster ‘72 Custom Reissue (on the bridge single coil)
- Keeley Compressor+
- EQD White Light (always on)
- JHS Pack Rat (Set to Turbo)
- EHX Micro POG
- EHX Deluxe Memory Boy
- Fender Twin Reverb Tone Master
I work around it now in a few ways: - I try to stand at *just* the right spot to avoid the guitar and amp from feeding back to each other.
- I try nudging the compressor sustain and/or packrat distortion knobs a smidge until I don’t get feedback.
- I set my neck pickup to low volume and switch the selector when i’m not playing, but have the pedals armed for an upcoming lead
- I stand at the pedalboard and switch on the compressor right before I start playing and right after I stop playing
It gets the job done, but I'd like to just not have to actively deal with it Thanks! submitted by RenAlg to guitarpedals [link] [comments] |

2024.03.19 00:00 Fearless-Mushroom Red Witch Moon Phaser
| Not new, but pulled it out of storage. These things have a reputation of breaking. I bought this one broken, and somehow managed to fix it. It stopped working on me again, but I recently opened it up and moved some wires and it started working again. I haven’t tried a lot of phasers, but this thing is pretty magical to me. It has 6 different types of modulation, kind of like a JHS Bonsai and Packrat, but phaser version. I like the luscious sound harmonic tremolo on this. The left knob is a rate knob. The middle knob is either a tone or wet/dry blend. I’m playing out of 8’’ speakers so they dont have a lot of bass, but that knob basically cuts out the signal in one direction, or makes it louder and higher frequency in the other. When the pedal is just on with the signal cut out, it gives your tone a nice sparkle to it. Idk what it is, but it reminds me of a CE1 preamp. They are a fabulous sounding pedal, and it’s a shame that they were discontinued because they stop working! submitted by Fearless-Mushroom to guitarpedals [link] [comments] |
2024.03.16 17:38 damurphy72 Guide to Cooking in Starfield
Gastronomy is hideously underpowered in the current version (as of March 2024) of Starfield. Food is heavy for the benefits it gives you, you need to invest precious skill points to unlock all but a handful of recipes, and you need to collect a random assortment of ingredients that aren't clearly identified even in the recipes.
Having said that, if you want to get into Gastronomy for role-playing or completionist reasons, here is what I've learned:
- You can research the basic recipes without any skill points. This is not terrible in the early game. Well, let me restate that. The recipes for meatloaf and Reuben aren't worth it. Boba Alien Tea, Yellow Giant Splash, and Alien Tonic aren't bad, though, especially if you're the type to packrat anything not nailed down at POIs.
- The recipes rather frustratingly often give a category of ingredient without specifying what food items are included in that category. The categories are Beans (RH lentils ONLY), Beer (anything described as beer EXCEPT Jake's Stout, which is probably an oversight; so Eredebrau, no-name, Can-uck!, Red Harvest, and the Akila beers), Bread (baguette, RH naan, rye, wheat, and white bread), Coffee (any Terrabrew, coffee bags), Dairy (butter, kefir, milk), Egg (eggs meal pack ONLY, not Chunks), Liquor (Bayu Private Reserve, bourbon, vodka, drink pack whiskey -- though NOT Red Harvest or Runaway), Noodles (RH spaghetti, any food with ramen, soba or udon), Poultry (chicken meal pack, synth chicken and turkey), Red Meat (synth hamburger, multi, steak, and veal), Soda (alien tonic, any Boom Pop!, Can-uck! Maple Cola, Chunks Cola), Tea (alien tea, any Tranquilitea brewed, packet, or bulk), and wine (Cabernet Chunkington, Chandra wines, Astral Lounge Sangria).
- Other than skills, there are five recipes available by finding copies of The New Atlantean magazine, two of which are in New Atlantis. The recipes are for The Deep (basically surf and turf), Panache, Beer Brat Platter, Astral Sliders, and Shepherd's Pie. The first is one of the few food items than sells for more than 100 credits, while the last has a decent hour-long xp buff associated with it. The Beer Brat Platter can be used to farm xp with the large quantity of beer you can get when capturing hostile spaceships.
- The rarest ingredients in the game are quark-degenerate tissues and something called Gastronomic Delight. The former can be obtained by hunting, the latter has to be bought from vendors. The former is used in Galaxy Lo Mein, Nebula Wat, and Stellar Kebabs. The latter is used in Galaxy Lo Mein and Star Cluster Marsala. What benefit does Galaxy Lo Mein give you when it uses two rare ingredients and requires a ton of research (Exotic Recipes 4) and skill points (Gastronomy 4)? You'll get 300 damage and energy resistance for 12 minutes and a whopping 40 hit points healing. In comparison, Hypergiant Heart gives you 500 of the same for 5 minutes and it doubles your rate of Starborn power regeneration. You can also carry five of them for the same weight as Lo Mein.
- One problem with farming xp with Gastronomy is that most of the ingredients for higher-end recipes just can't be farmed. Most of the recipes with "alien" in the title can be farmed with the exception of Alien Sandwich, Alien Pie, and Alien Scramble, which require bread, potato, and egg. (Yes, you cannot grow POTATOES.) Many of them require distilled water, though, so you will need to farm membranes and water as a precursor. The best and easiest thing to make is Alien Liquor. It just requires Alkanes and Nutrients, has a base value of 165 credits, and can be researched with Mixology 1, which doesn't require any skill points in Gastronomy.
- While the drinks are universally more useful than the food, there is one exception. If you have the Kid Stuff trait, your dad will give you the recipe for Grandpa's Meatloaf. That food gives you 125 damage resistance for 10 minutes and a 2% xp bonus for 2 HOURS. Egg is often the hardest ingredient to find, but CJ's in New Atlantis usually sells a bunch.
- If you really want to put points into Gastronomy, then do NOT take the Alien DNA trait, as that nerfs all aid items. Also, consider the Nutrition skill, as it will buff food benefits and there are plenty of great tier 1 Physical skills to take to qualify for it.
- Keep in mind that MANY POIs and ship habs come with cooking stations. You don't have to haul ingredients back to your ship to get the xp.
- Chicken Marsala is an easy recipe to get ingredients for despite not being able to farm them. You will come across a ton of wine, synth chix and turkey, and milk at various locations. (The idea of turkey marsala makes me shudder a little, but I've never actually tried it.) Spice is rarer but obviously can be farmed.
- High-utility ingredients (by number of recipes) for chefs include bread (8 recipes, common), butter (5 recipes, uncommon), cheese (6 recipes, uncommon), dairy (5 recipes, common), distilled water (7 recipes, rare but craftable), egg (5 recipes, uncommon), noodles (5 recipes, common), onion (5 recipes, common), potatoes (5 recipes, common), and red meat (7 recipes, common).
- EDIT: One thing that I forgot to mention that is a small benefit of farming food and drink is that ANY place that sells food, even Chunks, will buy food items. New Atlantis, for example, has a Chunks, two Terrabrews, the Dawn's Roost, Whetstone, CJ's grocery, The Viewport, Jake's, and Kay's (the last two being in the Well). Of course, the places that will buy anything will also buy food and drink: Jemison Mercantile, UC Exchange, Outland, the Trade Authority, UC Surplus, Apex Electronics, and the TA kiosk at the spaceport.
What would make Gastronomy worthwhile, in my opinion?
- Survival mode is an obvious one, as having to eat and drink automatically makes food and drink more valuable.
- Food doing a % of health healing instead of a fixed hp amount would help, especially with Nutrition.
- Alternatively, making food have weaker but significantly longer-lasting effects could serve as a nice option to pharma options. Get 100 resistance for an hour instead of 300 for 5 minutes, for example.
- Increase the xp for manufacturing items with non-farmable ingredients.

2024.03.10 17:46 Ashtavakra85 Finally beat Throne Bois in NG, Company of Champions
Lost Sinner at Bonfire Ascetic + 3 was not as hard as this. NG but in Company of Champions, with just 20 Vitality and Endurance makes these bosses hard as hell. I felt I was definitely underleveled, particularly in Stamina.
But I maintained my principle of never summoning, apart from when I used ascetic to finish Lucatiel and Bernhart quests. 30 deaths later, the feeling of soloing and dealing that defender asshole the deathblow while he was trying to heal his skinny pal was whole another feeling. The familiar Miyazaki high.
I had a lightning bandit axe + 10, Black Dragon Shield + 3 and 3 fireballs. Equipped the magic defense ring because Skinny was doing me everytime once he went infusion. Wore a Monastery set which I had farmed in NG itself with 5 Bonfire ascetics (don't ask...).
Nashandra and Aldia were so easy compared to these 2. I mean, even Ornstein and Smough in DS and Inner Father in Sekiro didn't give me this much trouble! DS2 still holds up in 2024, easily better than DS1 (yet to play DS3, been saving that and Elden Ring for a rainy day).
The third boss in this fight was that bloody pit in the room. Now having beaten them like a true honorable CoC Hollow, I will respawn them two more times, and this time, I will take the merry band of 3 NPCs to get their souls and all their weapons.
So base game is complete. I have every armor set, every ring and every weapon apart from ungettable ones (2 PvP covenants, 2 Vendrick weapons). I have also seen much of what NG+ would offer, because I have fought almost every boss 2 or 3 times to get their stuff, going through the area again in the process seeing some of the new enemies.
As a packrat, I'm satisfied, though the Dragon Aerie farming session nearly broke me. On to the DLCs once I kill the 3 final bosses 2 more times!

2024.03.10 08:27 juicedrop Most important affixes per slot?
Full disclosure, I am a bit of a packrat. I keep loot for future potential builds which means I want to keep gear for all classes, damage types etc
Are there any good general rules to apply to Exalted drops to help prioritize what loot to hoard and what to vendoshatter? Here are some rules I generally follow but I actually don't know if this is correct or not as I have not played enough different builds
Only keep items when Exalted mod is:
Weapon: prefix damage, and the 2nd prefix should "align" with it
Body armour: prefix + skill (or skill related). Is damage reflected any good?
Helm: prefix + skill (or skill related eg. +X curse damage)
Boot: anything?? (movement speed? cooldown reduction? dodge? reduced crit dam)
Glove: prefix damage stat (attack speed/cast speed/throw speed/crit)?
Belt: Damage, hybrid health?
I realise there may be many more rules and any stat can be good for the right build, but I'm looking for good generic rules to help me keep decent items

2024.03.08 11:43 garbo56 Opinion: Versus should be heavily stacked against the u5
These thoughts are of course super dependant on what fs has as their own vision of versus. Do they want an experience close to campaign but there are 4 pc specials playing against you or do they see some form of pvp deathmatch offshoot.
After playing some of the beta it almost feels like a different game closer to a TDM than standard verm campaign. If this is the case it could still be a fun sidemode but i think it may fall flat with veterans of the game
If the aim of versus is to make a gamemode close to campaign i think they should be heavily stacking the cards in favour of the pactsworn side.
One of the best parts of this game is trying to traverse though maps against all odds. Its just you and your team against anything the game wishes to throw at you. See the popularity of 200% twitch and beyond. Its fun because its hard and you will wipe, again and again!
The draw to the concept of a versus mode is the same feeling as running a tough cata map or a 200% game . You are saying "please beat me up i can take it!" The player can overcome the challenge though good teamplay and mechanical skill. Giving control of specials to other players is another way of hitting this feeling. It should be hard, you should be struggling get through a mid event just to be cornered by 4 player controlled packrats. Lets not pretend the goal of the pactsworn team isnt to just to disrupt, annoy and completely wipe the other team. Versus should be leaning into this. Give specials the ability to summon waves, let a player be a rat ogre during an end event, up the density so that players have to fight hordes before realizing that the specials that just spawned are controlled by players looking to mess with them. If the balance is too even or as we saw in the closed alpha too stacked towards the u5 it just feels a bit underwhelming.
So far it seems that versus is targeted towards the veteran/champ playerbase which is super understandable but the core idea of versus should be inline with what players enjoy about the main game. This game is fun because you dont know what will happen each run. Adding player controlled specials will just add to this unpredictability which could lead to a very exciting new way of playing a game we all love.
TLDR: game is fun coz it wants to hurt you. Versus should be the same.

2024.02.27 19:05 aviv135 SOTB: I love my gain section now
| So after the previous thread about not liking my gain pedals, I went to the store and made some trades and got awesome new pedals! I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed the Cornerstone pedals, never played them before. The Colosseum replaced my Morning Glory and Tumnus, it does both of them better. The Imperium replaced my tubescreamer, it does it better and the Gladio side is new to me and just great. The Super Phat mod and Packrat replaced the OCD. I enjoy them both very much. The Moon Fuzz replaced my Hood. It’s just what I imagined when I wanted that wall of sound. It’s awesome and super satisfying to play. The only drive that remained is the Hotcake, it’s special and earns its place. The Halo and Nemesis are there instead of my Volante. I use the Nemesis for all delay purposes and the Halo on the Halo setting pretty much always on. submitted by aviv135 to guitarpedals [link] [comments] |
2024.02.25 00:47 No_Adhesiveness_9795 .357 Magnum Shotshell
| Haven’t been able to find the shot capsules for 38/357 in a good many years so I started working on my own Shotshell load. Used most of them up running packrats around the property and decided I should spend some time making some more. Thought I would share with anyone interested. (This target is 21ft; way beyond the distance I normally utilize these at) -5cc of unique -Undershot card (3/8” diameter) -Tamp the card down firmly with an empty BIC pen -1.3cc lead shot (this batch is #6, most of the time I use 8/9) -Overshot card -Tamp that card down firmly as well. I leave a little room above the card. -I will put a tight crimp to hold the card in place and then a little dab of glue to keep it from vibrating loose during carry or shooting. This is where the little extra room comes into play. These are effective on rodents in close quarters but also loads of fun shooting balloons with youngsters. Happy shooting. submitted by No_Adhesiveness_9795 to reloading [link] [comments] |
2024.02.12 21:16 hygiei New player here! Anyone have any interesting tips to help a noob such as myself navigate the cruel, unforgiving wasteland?
I started playing a few days ago, and my dude is at level 34 now (He's looking really fresh. Rocking the classic clown suit/beer hat combo). I invested a thousand or so hours into Fallout 4 back in the day, so I have a pretty good bearing on a lot of the game mechanics and stuff, but there's also a ton that is super unfamiliar to me lol. For instance, I just learned that you drop all your junk when you die, so it was probably a pretty bad idea for me to packrat a bunch of valuable junk in my inventory before falling off a cliff and dying like a dumbass. A few minutes later, I found out another fun thing-- If you die a second time before recovering your first lost junk bag, that one goes away. I found that out by expertly falling off the same cliff to my death a second time while trying to get down to my original droppings, which was super cool. Anyways, I'd really appreciate hearing any tips or advice you guys might have for a bright-eyed newbie like me! Thanks!

Low level (16 I think, not really pertinent), no points really invested into researching yet. I'm a typical Bethesda packrat, so I pick up everything. Just playing for fun (tbd) and I'm overflowing with resources. Any harm in just selling them all? Is there anything I really need at this point? Anything I'll be kicking myself later for getting rid of?

2024.02.03 00:07 Gudnamestaken Lightning storm druid without Tempest Roar?
- Been running a pulverize build so far. Getting kind of bored with it and some of the videos for a lightning storm druid look pretty sweet.
I already have the ascetics wraps and the mad wolf chest. Most of the builds I've seen utilize TR though. Any experience playing that without the helm?
I'm fine grinding for it, but am curious about viability before I respec everything and dig through all the shit I have in my chest (bit of a packrat).

2024.02.01 19:11 CaptKirk45 Pedal Recommendations
I’m looking for pedal recommendations regarding distortion or fuzz for my first pedalboard build. Although I haven’t been playing too long (a year), I’ve put in quite a bit of time. I recently made the jump from my Fender Mustang LT 25 to an EVH 5150 Combo. I play 80s and 90s rock, but I’m most at home playing 2000s-current alternative rock (e.g., Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Deftones, Tool, etc.). Any pedal recommendations for attaining that type of sound/tone? The JHS PackRat and Muffuletta were recommended to me by my personal sales engineer at Sweetwater. However, it seems there’s too many presets on those (9 on the Rat and 6 on the Muff) that I may not necessarily need. The EVH 5150 is great, but I can only do so much without pedals. Thanks.

2024.02.01 17:25 Farsoth Tactician Finally Clicked
So I just had my favorite fight in the game. Playing Tactician and most fights have been honestly relatively easy with my party of Barbarian Tav, Rogue Astarion, Wizard Gale, and Paladin Lae'Zel
However in the Shadowlands there is the fight where Halsin goes into a portal and multiple waves of enemies come at you to try and keep Halsin from coming back.
I was just getting overwhelmed because I don't have a lot of AOE, Gale is relatively the only one with it.
However, I AM a packrat. I sell away only the regular weapons/armotrinkets that I find for gold and none of the scrolls, magical items, potions, or throwables, JUST IN CASE.
Well, this fight was the just in case.
Rather than giving up I decided to use tactics. There were things around I could to block the portal and so I moved them in front of it, a crate, two fish barrels, and a chest.
I also taught Gale shroud Darkness via scroll and obscured the portal so the rangers couldn't attack it.
I used two other scrolls to set up cloud of daggers in front of the obstacles so anyone getting to that point would be whacked hard. Especially the enemies with lots of movement but low health.
I arranged my party in a way to protect Gale at the back at high elevation and the three melee characters in front where all the enemies would have to get through them and the frontline to even get to the buzzsaw, it was a bit like the Spartans at Hell's gate.
Lae has Phalar Aluve and I sang before starting the fight to get better concentration checks. (Also did turn-based mode when doing this set-up so when I triggered the fight everything would have as many turns as possible.)
Tav and Lae also had alchemists fire at the ready for some light AOE on low health enemies, Astarion full of all the special arrows I've gathered through the playthrough and not used thus far.
I just needed to survive 5 rounds.
And let me tell you, the feeling I got of everything working out the way I imagined was incredible. The gameplay has clicked in a way it didn't before. I always enjoyed it and thought about my moves, but now knowing how I can manipulate the game systems to my advantage before a fight if it is difficult changes things entirely. It makes hard fights an exercise in exploring tactics and not just beating my head against it hoping for good rolls.
The before and after pics and having not moved a single character to get this win felt like such an accomplishment and I'm interested to see how the game keeps ramping these kinds of encounters up.
I love this game.

2024.01.07 10:00 ManyCloud220 PS5 Storage Quandary: Gigabytes Galore or Gigantic Gamble?
The call of the open disc drive has lured me back to the PlayStation fold, but storage space? That's another beast entirely. My digital library whispers sweet nothings of epic adventures, but my wallet clutches its coins tight. To upgrade or not to upgrade – that is the question.
The alluring option: a 2TB SSD. A spacious haven for sprawling open worlds, endless loot stashes, and a future-proofed fortress against monstrous game sizes. My inner packrat squeals with glee, envisioning a digital hoard to rival Scrooge McDuck's.
But then, reality bites. The 2TB price tag looms, a tempting siren song for my budget. Could the 1TB option suffice? A more modest haven, perhaps, but one that could still house my current favourites and leave room for a few unexpected gems. My inner pragmatist sighs, muttering about responsible spending and calculated risks.
So, fellow PlayStation explorers, I come to you adrift in a sea of gigabytes. Is the 2TB a wise investment, a future-proofed shield against storage woes? Or is the 1TB a prudent path, a pragmatic choice for a moderate adventurer?

2023.12.14 11:06 yendis3350 Looking for new cozy games to try!
Hi all! Im looking for any recommendations about what i might like because i can be a little picky with the games that i like. Heres a short list of the cozy games ive played: edit: ill update them with what i like about it
-dorfromantik: easy quests. very chill, cute puzzle game to match the tiles. The tile economy is fun and can continue easily. I like the puzzle of finding which tile fits in the best spot.
-townscaper: nice sounds makes auto adjustments to the aesthetics of the buildings based on surroundings
-stardew valley: i really couldnt restart at this point everything is set up and i just get to harvest and collect things like a packrat now. Im like 5 years in on my main farm and i play modded now too
-slime rancher 1 & 2: exploration and the very limited economy. The slimes are cute but the game puts a heavy emphasis on exploring and collecting and automating.
-potion craft: i like crafting the potions and grinding up the materials to sell to people. I dont have to buy anything and i dont have to progress if i dont want to.
-islanders: it gives you items to place anywhere near other items and it gives you points based on that to progress to the next little island you get
-the block: similar to islanders.
-house flipper: i get to design houses
-little witch in the woods: i found the aesthetics really cute. I like gathering materials and crafting with them.
-unpacking: i can arrange things how i like and organize it.
-the sims 4: i literally just build houses in godmode
Im open to all suggestions but all i ask is that they are available on PC or Switch, preferably PC! I would also like to only buy the game once and keep micro transactions to a minimum/not at all!Thank you!
