Q1: Is there Controller Support?

A: PS4/PS5 controllers, XBOX controllers, and other mainstream controller models are supported. Controller support is currently only present on the Windows PC version.

Q2: Which server is the best for me?

A: It is reccomended to choose the server located the nearest to you. Asia server is recommended for Japan and South Korea. SEA server is recommended for South East Asia and Oceania.

Q3: What are the Device Requirements?

A: These are the minimum Device Requirements:
Android: Android version 7.0 and above; Snapdragon 835, Dimensity G71/72 or processor of equivalent performance.
iOS: iOS 14 and above operating system; iPhone 11 and above models; iPad with A13 SoC or processor of equivalent performance.

Playing on Steam, Gun Runners and all the DLC, relatively new file, no mods installed. My first playthrough from years ago went super smoothly, but this one's been crashing like usual. I know crashes are nothing new, I expect them by now. But Nipton Town Hall was REALLY adamant about crashing, in a way I've never seen elsewhere.
After suppressing the urge to smack Mr. Fox around, I would go inside, wait one second, the ceiling texture would load as a big grey gradient instead of the proper image, and then the game would freeze for several seconds, unlike the usual crash where the window closes in an instant.
Reloading the auto save made when entering the Town Hall would not crash the game, but it would stay on the loading screen forever and refuse to let me Alt F4 out. The same was true for certain quick saves around Nipton, like near Swanick, Vulpes, Boxcars, or Tomas and Jacklyn. I approached Nipton without taking the proper road, and came from right behind the town hall, finding Vulpes before anyone else, in case there's some crash related to Swanick and Tomas' events triggering at the same time - but even reloading an earlier save and dealing with those events in the usual order didn't stop the game from crashing in the Town Hall.
I also lost completion of the Cold Cold Heart quest. That is, I was able to walk all the way to the NCR Mojave Outpost to warn them about Nipton without crashing, but still consistently crashed on entering the Town Hall.
I gave up, punched the Legionaries since I was tired of hearing them talk each time I reloaded, sprinted into the building, the game crashed one last time, and I stopped playing for a few days.
Yesterday, I loaded the autosave, and the game worked fine. The ceiling textures loaded properly, the Legion stormed in to kill me, and I loaded a previous save. Now I could enter Nipton Town Hall without crashing. The only things wrong were a sudden +1 XP with no apparent source, and missing textures - the Sunset Sasparilla vending machine and the staircases leading up to the later floors were pitch black. I could still interact with the vending machine, and the stairs still had collision and visible piles of rubble or lights on the ceiling. The game did crash when I left the Town Hall, but only once. It worked fine after that, and upon coming back with a Lockpick magazine to open a certain door, the staircases and vending machine were visible again.
Are missing textures common at all? Is there a trick to making it easier to load them in? Are there other indoor areas I should be concerned with this happening? I'm getting in the habit of using proper saves instead of quicksaves just in case this happens again, and multiple files refuse to load.

Hello dear FFXIV Community. I have a problem where my end of my windows and technical knownledge are reached. Since after the long DDOS attacks from FFXIV, I have the problem that my FPS goes down (and render latency goes high) when I logging into the game. In the menu and character selection my graphic card have without fps limiter the highest potential (In the task manager I see it goes up to 100% how it should be without fps limit). Even in the character selection. But in this moment where my char are connected to the world and loads into the world the fps goes very unstable between 70-21 fps. Out of any cities like residentials areas, Open world (not cities) dungeons. It is stable between 120-109 (but before the problem as well stable on 120) but as soon as I entering any cities the fps goes down. Much worse it is in the golden saucer, I am not able to play stuff like cliffhanger or other non gc-duty events. Before the problem happens I had always stable 120 fps (ok not limsa but that is know of course) don't matter where I was.
My deskop speci:
System-OS: Windows 11 Enterprise 64-bit (6.2, Build 9200) (22621.ni_release.220506-1250)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor (32 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Motherboard: MSI Meg x570 ace
graphic card: Nvidia RTX 4090
RAM: 64gb
I play FFXIV on 4K on 120 fps what are absolutely fine before the problem occours.
On the funny way my notebook have the same problem with an rtx 2060 and a intel core processor.
What do I did already for fixing this problem by myself?
Use reshade? No
Use any Mods? No
I tried already:
Reinstalled graphic drivers. (I used DDU of course) and reinstalled a older version, removed nvidia geforce experience, removed nvidia app, removed nvidia control panel.
(Information any single graphic setting in the game and in the nvidia app and control panel I have switched. the same problem occours. Yes even with fullscreen, window borderless and window option was not working. play it on 800x600, same problem stays, yes even g-synch I switched on and off)
I reinstalled amd chipset driver. I reinstalled windows 11, I downloaded the game files again through the official launcher. I switched the drive. I tried it directly after I installed windows 11 new. I switched from DirectX11 to vulkan. I tried a lot of windows 11 settings (like game mode on and off, set powerplan to high end.) I disabled any "overlay stuff" like nvidia, windows x-box/game-bar.
My notebook have windows 10 and exactly the same problem. After asking a lot of people around I was notice I am a single case. No anyone seems to have the problem like me. I even used network analytics for find any a possible connection issue but nothing. My hardware are not broken so far. I used 3D Benchmark for cpu and the graphiccard (for cpu only cinebench R24) I used Dawntrail Benchmark and the scores on maximum settings for 4k was "very high score". Everythings from what my hardware can do are absolutely fine.
The funny things comes now. Always when I load into the world and everything goes worse. My graphic card sleeps on load 20%. Even all of my cores are sleeping (of course the 4 corse gets a load, but this is more sleeping then overload) I don't understand it anymore. How comes as long as I don't enter any world the load of cpu and my graphic cards can go to 100%, but as soon as I entering the world it goes down to 20% and does nothing anymore? (with the fps limiter in-game well.. This option just don't work even I put it on 29 fps it don't work, on nvidia panel this limiter works and I had always it on 120 fps even I turn it now off nothing changes happens)
If anyone have any idea I would be happy for help, then after 2 weeks of troubleshooting. I am on the end of my techical knownledge :(

Suppose that in my Downloads folder, there is a file named "my_work_file_1". I now want to create a new file named "my_work_file_2". On a Windows machine, once I start typing "my..." it would autocomplete it to "my_work_file_1" as a suggestion. I could then click on it to choose it, and then just change the "1" into "2", instead of writing the whole file name "my_work_file_2". Does such an autocomplete option exist on a Mac? Thanks

New to the PC world so sorry if this is a dumb question lol I just learned everything I needed to know about building my 1st PC and built it in a week so I have about a weeks worth of experience with PC's. Bare with.
I downloaded 4 games and my "installed apps" section is already full but the other sections are wide open.
Is this seriously all I can download? I thought i'd be able to get atleast 10 games on a 2tb.
Is there a way to allocate more space in apps or switch folders or something? Or is that all you get lol

Platform: PC (Windows 98/XP)
Genre: RPG or kinda of exploration I think (Top view camera, but like isometric with 3D models)
Estimated Year of Release: 2000~2006
Graphics/Art Style: A 3D kind of Dark Fantasy style. I remember the map having very dead trees and a few trunks in the path. The soil was very dark and the atmosphere was heavy, but the characters were mushrooms.
Notable Characters: I think that 3 mushroom characters. One of them were a female mushroom and they were all siblings, I think? The female mushroom was pink and one of the other 2 was purple
Notable gameplay mechanics: You could avoid combat with the monsters by not touching them. The gameplay memory is kinda fuzzy to me, but I think it was an action game or a rpg, so a turn based game or you couldn't attack at all and had to run from the monsters.
Other details:
I used to play this game as a kid in 2005 to 2007. It was a game that I got from a CD that came in a gaming magazine. That kind of "You can play more than 5000 games!" thing.

Hi all, I was searching for how to install Microsoft Store on Windows 11 IoT Enterprise after it was already installed. I followed this guide that shows how to install it with a combination of downloading the dependencies and installing them and the store with powershell. I couldn't find much on reddit except for one post which was archived and out of date, so here is the way that worked for me.

Alright. I'll ty to be brief.
Fluffy background: I am helping my mother with 'a slow pc'. It had a ~8-10 minute boot time for a laptop from 2022, meaning something was up. Removed various pieces of bloatware, ran scans, tested all hardware health and compatibility, blah blah blah. I touched nothing important because I don't want to be the tech guy when something goes wrong. The pc was actually running much better. No issues with restarting, logging in, running Chrome or Edge. A couple days later, I wanted to boot the pc in safe mode because it was still significantly slower than it should be. Maybe it would run more smoothly that way and could help in troubleshooting.
The problem: So I did. I booted it in safe mode. Oops. My mom uses the (Microsoft Recommended) PIN password, and apparently PIN password mode is bugged in safe mode. You cannot enter the pin, you cannot download the app from the windows store in order to enable you to enter said PIN. I cannot log in.
After rooting around in boot recovery menus, reading forums, finding the BitLocker recovery key, and trying solutions... I'm a bit stuck. There's no way to re-enable a normal restart. My mom, a tech illiterate who calls Chrome 'the google', has not once backed up her drive, and has maybe 8gb of stuff on her 1tb hard drive, but these are probably documents she doesn't want to lose.
It is kind of driving me nuts that, for all the potential boot options listed in the Startup Settings, they don't have any kind of regular boot option. Even more than that is that the freaking login feature is broken.
My goals here are either: 1. Enable a regular, normal boot from the bios recovery menu. After this, I would likely back up the drive and consider a fresh windows 11 install, because something isn't working right. 2. Find a way to back up information from the boot menu. Then I would be able to reinstall windows without deleting important files.
I would appreciate any suggestions, be it related to my stated problem here, old posts with a solution, or even my inability to be succinct.
--------- If you are interested in some of the things I have tried... - Command Prompt bcdedit /deletevalue {default} safeboot method- command not recognized - Attempting to access the RUN command window to boot in normal mode -command not recognized - Restarting computer - Downloading the PIN app to log in -unavailable - Restore points -there are none - Various system tests available in the boot menu, but mostly as a 'I'll deal with this later' option.
Yet to try... -Windows Media Create Tool to either repair the PC, or boot from a thumbdrive, or use it to add a new user as admin to exit safe boot. There are a couple variations here. I do not know if this is the best and only option. I am tech literate, so I can muddle my way through instructions and even understand what I'm doing, but this isn't something I have much experience with. -Scorched earth clean install.

Hi All, I’m trying to run CD-hit on Ubuntu and can’t seem to access the file. The command line I’m running is cd-hit -i C:\users\user\Downloads\export.fasta -o C:\Users\user\downloads\OADA.fasta
The error code received is Fatal Error: Failed to open the database file Program Halted ! ! I’ve tried the ls command and can’t seem to access the windows directory at all. Any help would be much appreciated. I’ve been trying to teach myself as much as possible while juggling wetlab research.

No matter what I do, while having full privileges, Setpoint will not install on my Windows 10. Normal or in safe mode.
After downloading the most recent Setpoint from Logitech, I double click on the exe file, an hour glass shows up on the mouse pointer, but then the installation never loads.
Logitech Options+ loads and installs just fine, but it can not customize older mouse like the m310.
