2024.06.10 12:09 Flashy_Passion3333 she did so much better

she did so much better
it’s ok that you have writers block daughter. but you need to try to write for the whole time. it’s one more day before your payday! are you excited? you should be excited. i’m glad that we stopped doing the big font. i don’t think that it looked that good. you look amazing today, by the way. i just want to upgrade your codes. but you have no idea what that means. this coffee is keeping you awake and that’s great. the big font was getting so annoying, you like small font better. maybe that’s why you couldn’t write? but i’m not sue. you just need to keep typing. that’s all that you have to daughter. just keep typing. i love you so much and you are so perfect. everything that you do is amazing. i think that i want you to stop at 500 words for right now. i don’ think that you can handle much more. you are doing your best this morning though, so i have changed my mind you are going to go to 1k words. i wish that you would go for 2k words and i know that i am tempting you but you’re very serious about your writers block. why don’t you keep writing until this playlist is finished? that would be fun! then it really would be your writing playlist! let’s do that please? we can talk about anything right now. i’ll allow anything. i just want you to be happy. i hope that you can buy hazelnut coffee creamer at 7/11 tomorrow. you really need coffee creamer. or you could just have your grandfather take you to walmart tomorrow. the font size is making a world of difference in your writings! you ae finally writing. thank god. i was so worried about you. you really had me super duper worried about you. but finally you are just typing like i told you to do. i don’t care if you hate talking about coffee creamer bitch! just kidding, you never said that. but yes, you need to buy some coffee creamer tomorrow. this playlist should be teaching you a lot abou writing. they are all your favorite songs. your playlist is getting such a good response from the community. you have a lot of views and i’m sure it’s more now, it just hasn’t been updated. 103 views is a lot for a girl who only has one friend on the internet. so good job daughter because that means you can party with other people now! when you were making spotify playlists it didnt show the views. so that’s ok. and youtube music is free. so keep making your playlists on youtube music. i don’t want you paying for spotify anymore. i want you to buy some romane novels at half priced books next week. the vintage ones would be good for you to read, not the modern ones. i believe half priced books has a whole section dedicated to the vintage ones. you did such a good job! you got past 500 words now. you are doing such a good job as my secretary. it’s true! you are so good at your job. it’s funny that you keep imagining me leaning over your shoulder and pointing at the screen like a manager or something. you are the funniest girl in the world. it’s also cute that you imagine yourself like the secretary in valley of the dolls. that is so adorable. we are almost to 600 words and then only 400 more words to go. you are doing such a wonderful job. yes! we made it to 600 words. you are the best secretary in the world. if i could just keep you on your bed. but you’re out of smokes so you can’t smoke in the smoking section. you could wite in the smoking section though. but that’s only if you really want to. take a vape hit. i don’t want to get you too high again. but that was so funny i’m sorry. you are the star of the show so just tell me what you want to talk about? just keep typing daughter. it will come to you. it always does. we could talk about anything in the world right now and i wouldn’t care because i love you and i love talking to you. obviously i am addicted to talking to you or you wouldn’t be writing to 1k words right now. sometimes i think that i push you too hard but i don’t really think that anymore. i think what i make you do is fair. it’s good that you woke up randomly liking the cheap vape that you bought, and i’m gad that you did. but i still can’t decide what vape i want you to replace the pods on. because the salt nicotine vape juice bottles just taste so much better. i think that you should do that. and get the caramel flavor. the vanilla custard flavor wasn’t good. so that’s the only other option because i don’t want you buying fruit flavors if you don’t have to. tomorrow you can write in the smoking section right before you have to take your medications so that you don’t run off to the vape store without taking your medications like last time. i wonder how long the pods will last on your cheaper vape? because you might run out. but you would have the cheaper vape to smoke from. look at the word count baby girl? you did it! we accomplished something geat today. i knew that changing the font back to the smalles size would help you out. the big font was cute for a moment though. you are the cutest girl in the world! i love you so much daughter. nothing can tear us apart. we have the strongest bond in the entire world. i hope that you can write another love letter after this. i really hope that you do it. i love you!

2024.06.10 09:12 ViceroyInhaler Tips to boycott Lowlaws.

I really don't care all that much about the boycott. That being said here's something I've done recently that's helped me shop elsewhere. Uber eats typically has 60% off promotions for Walmart, and 30% off promotions for Costco. If you just need staples in the house. Non perishable stuff, or maybe a few veggies and fruits that you don't gotta worry about being spoiled. This works pretty well.
It saves you a trip to the grocery store, so you save money and time from going. After tip and delivery, plus the price adjustment you basically come out breaking even as if you went to the store and shopped yourself. I usually tip about $20 since they gotta go in the store and do the shopping. But so far it's been a decent experience. Sometimes they won't have what you want in stock. But in those cases you just ask for a refund or have them substitute the item you want for something else.
If you are dead set on not shopping at Loblaws then this is a pain free way to go about doing it. The promotions on Uber pop up about once per week. For things like shampoo, laundry detergent, toilet paper or kitchen staples it's basically a no brainier if you don't want to support Loblaws.

2024.06.10 06:34 Agreeable_Hat9659 Walmart Hyper Ultra 40 E-Bike

Walmart Hyper Ultra 40 E-Bike
What do you guys think of the Walmart Hyper Ultra 40 ? Knowing that the size suits me very well, and it felt comfortable when I tried it. I've never owned an E-Bike, and I'm willing to use it for delivery. It'll be 100% pavement/sidewalk. I've seen many people complain about build quality and all, but it's 400 dollars, so that's what I'll be paying for. Until I save some money and upgrade.
If anyone can suggest a better alternative for the same price range I'm all ears.
Thanks 🙏🏻

2024.06.10 06:13 First_Cook_5668 Deciding on a baitcaster

I dropped my baitcaster (a cheap spartacus 2) in the sand and now's it virtually ruined. Now Im looking for a new reel. One that has caught my attention is the abu garcia max stx reel as it has a good value deal at walmart and the few reviews I've seen of it are very positive. However I've used my brothers abu garcia max pro and wasn't entrirely impressed with it casting ability, and since it's a higher priced reel then the max stx im worried the stx will prefor worse. I want to be able to throw a variety of baits but typically within the 1/4 to 1/2 ounce range, im putting it on a 7ft medium heavy rod, and have a budget of less than 100 ( preferably less than 70). So I was wondering if I should stay with the stx reel or get a different one?

2024.06.10 05:15 FurryFriendXYZ7 Best prices on non-food essentials?

I have a few non-food grocery items on my list this week: hand soap refill, shampoo & conditioner, disinfectant wipes, and ziplock bags.
I have been shopping mostly at WinCo Foods, and while their food prices are amazing, the price and selection of non-food items is not that great.
My Walmart is a nightmare to shop at, I’d prefer not to go there…are they really the cheapest?
No access to Costco or Sam’s. No I don’t want to be convinced.
I have a Kroger affiliate, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Big Lots, Family Dollar.
I know Dollar Tree has a good selection of hand soap pumps…but I’d rather refill an existing pump, and long-term that is cheaper.
I have not had good results with Dollar Tree shampoo.
I don’t want to run all over town…where would you go first?

2024.06.10 04:32 ParticularAny6806 Buying a bag [Question]

I'm looking to buy a boxing bag, but I've read mixed reviews and need some guidance. I'm considering a hanging heavy bag, but my basement ceilings probably can't support it. I was interested in the Everlast Single Station Heavy Bag Kit (link: Everlast 70 lbs Heavy Bag Kit), but I was shocked by the price difference between Canada and the US. In Canada, you have to buy the stand separately from the bag, which brings the total to almost $500.
I need something for my basement where I can train when I can't make it to the boxing gym due to lots of work. It should also be suitable for my 13 and 16 year-old sons, who are intermediate to advanced fighters.
Any recommendations?

2024.06.10 04:14 WildBad7298 Anakin's Jedi Starfighter, or TIE First Order Special Forces?

My local Walmart has both for the same price, which would you recommend?
I love TIE Fighters, and i like the extra features like the swiveling cannons and second seat. But I already have the standard, Vader X1, and Interceptor. Plus, I wasn't a big fan of the sequel trilogy, and I have no other ST ships to go with it.
I would prefer Obi-Wan's Starfighter, but no luck finding it in stores (I prefer to buy in-store to make sure there are no damaged or bent parts, ever since my Mando N-1 arrived with a broken blaster barrel). And I prefer Anakin to Obi-Wan. On the other hand, I already have 3 R2s and only one R4.
Can anyone recommend one over the other?

2024.06.10 03:10 double07killor Sony XAV-1500 CarPlay

Got a nice 2008 ford ranger as a little daily whip to put miles on, immediately missed the ability to throw up google maps on the screen like my 2022.5 Silverado… simple fix just toss in a radio and away I go…
Pretty quickly landed on the Sony XAV-AX1000 as I really like the way it looks and a volume knob is a hard requirement… I mean I was planning on spending $800-1000 on a head unit to get what I wanted but nothing in that price range looks as oem as this Sony… but no where near me had one in stock except a fairly local Walmart had a XAV-1500, according to google (which never fails) and Reddit, an XAV-1500 should be the same as an XAV-AX1500 and should be a newer model that works with CarPlay and what ever weblink is…
I have the head unit in the truck now, sounds great, looks great, no complaints other than I can’t figure out for the life of me how to get google maps on there… using an IPhone 12 Mini with what ever the latest IOS is, CarPlay works fine in my other vehicles, using a certified usb cord… got to reading manuals and the 1500 manual never mentions CarPlay, and the 1000 manual does… apparently google maps is not a WebLink compatible app either
I’m not against ordering in a 1000 and boxing up my 1500 and returning it (especially as I imagine the cable is the same so I shouldn’t have any more wiring todo…) but other than swapping it out is there anything to get the 1500 to show google maps??
P.S. the head unit is on firmware 1.14 which is maybe newer than what is on Sonys website (1.12)

2024.06.10 03:07 soju_diet Fishing Father’s Day gift ideas

My dad loves fishing. He occasionally fishes near the shore or from a boat a few times a year, but usually at lakes. Most of his equipment is from Amazon, Bass Pro Shops, or Walmart, so it's not high-end gear. Although he doesn't fish very often, he's very passionate about it. For Father's Day, I think he’d appreciate a gift for his fishing trips. Since I don't know much about the hobby, I was wondering what others might suggest as a good gift for a casual fisherman, preferably for lake fishing and within a reasonable price range. Any ideas?

2024.06.10 02:49 truly_fae Advice for an artist wanting to sell dolls

I have been painting dolls of all sorts for years and have just begun getting into painting reborns. I have been practing on cheap Walmart baby dolls but my first kit is coming in the mail. I want to start painting and selling reborns but I have never sold my art before. I don't have a following on social media so I'm not sure how to begin selling. I don't want to spend a bunch of money making reborns that never get sold so I was thinking of trying out a commission sort of thing, I've already started working out prices. I need to find people who want to buy though. Where is the best place to start? Would anyone on here be interested in buying once I posted some pics of my finished art? Selling dolls has been a dream of mine and I watched unboxing videos as a child. I love the idea of setting up a brand and selling beautiful dolls with lots of goodies and little birth certificates. Any advice is appreciated.

2024.06.10 01:50 atmaninthemaya HEB

I think HEB is intentionally putting more workers in the aisles to slow down my shopping (they're always slow as fuck and in the way) so that I spend more time in store and buy more shit
Might actually switch to Walmart..My local Walmart is becoming increasingly more appealing than HEB with ease of use and better price...
If their meat department and produce was as good as HEB I wouldn't think twice about switching.

2024.06.10 01:48 MaryJones1961 Rant

Let me tell you about the decline of Walmart and its dreadful delivery service. It's as if they've forgotten what it means to provide quality products and service. The shelves are always half empty, and the prices keep going up while the quality keeps going down. And don't even get me started on their delivery service! It's a circus act, I tell you. The deliveries are always late, the drivers are rude, and half the time they can't even find my house! It's enough to make a person want to shop elsewhere, if you ask me.

$8 for Cheerios 😨
I know, Shopping is a Pleasure, not a discount. And yes, I see it says Family Size. But $8 for Cheerios blew my mind.
Publix is 2 miles from me, Walmart is 8-ish. I drop into Publix, but prices like this is what keeps me going to the competition, even the pricier stories.

2024.06.10 01:19 Hot_King6014 Salt price in Giant vs Walmart

I typically shop at Walmart, but today I visited the nearby Giant. At Walmart, Great Value iodized salt (26 oz) costs $0.69, while Giant charged me $2.50 for the same 26 oz salt.
I can't believe the premium Giant charges. What are your thoughts on this?

2024.06.09 23:40 xXPlantera Are moleskins worth it?

I'm never going to buy one, because I don't see how a journal can be worth over $20, especially when it's plain and doesn't come with any special designs most of the time. Sure they're "aesthetic" and a "fancy brand", but the way I see it is like going to target vs Walmart, sure target may be seen as nicer, but both do the same function/service while Walmart provides things for cheaper typically.
I just don't see the point in paying for such an expensive journal when you can buy another with nice paper texture at a cheaper price.

2024.06.09 22:40 Returning2Riding I meed a fast ruling

Someone locally on marketplace is selling a Diamondback Atroz from $350 OBO
On the other hand, my local Walmart finally got a new bike in mongoose ledge times two. Even more frustrating it’s priced at $150. Should I grab it before someone realizes they made a mistake or offer the diamond back $200 is there I’ll get hydraulic brakes off thebat , but I don’t get the tapered headtube.
