So I don’t know how to start this but I meet this girl on a dating app and we were talking, everything was amazing even the first time we met up. She spent the night over because she was too drunk to drive home so was I, I was very hesitant because this person at that time was a stranger but we just vibe so well. After that day we just keep hanging out and exploring places in SD. I got to really get to know this person so well and deeply that we had so much in common, Music, ideas, etc.
I started to like this girl so much but the only thing I didn’t like was she was talking to her ex still but for a reason. She had to pay him back for rent which I thought It was totally fine but it started to get to a point where she was like “ugh he is just pissing me off and I can’t take this with him.” Also she would bring up certain things with him to me which I thought was weird to me because even though I knew they lived with each other about two years ago and broke up a year ago.
I never seen somebody talk about their ex so much even though it was all bad things about him but even still have contact with him. I would kinda tease her about it sometimes like “oh sounds like you guys are still together.” She denies it and says fucker I like you not him anymore but it got to a point I would say stuff like that out of concern which one day, we had a conversation about it and she said I would bring him up all the time.
I never dealt with that before, so even though I know this is wrong I went on a the same dating app I found her on and was looking and I saw her sister friend at the time. I didn’t know the friend at the time so I swipe on her and we didn’t match but I get a call from the girl I was talking to and she was telling me how could I do this and everything else, which she is right I should of never done that. I just felt like she was so drawn on her ex and having conversations with him that I was going try and see what else was out there but after that we came to a agreement on just keep talking to each other.

My birthday is in spring break so I got gifts from my family but I got crocs that had I heart N which was from my mom which represented my uncle who passed, His name started with a N. she’s worried that I might have a another girl back home. I tried telling her I don’t but I wanted her to come over since I was gone for a week and she had gifts for my birthday that past so everything was good.
She is over my place and is fine with staying until I got back from practice so I left then I get text messages from my family friend telling me she is texting her on instagram and somehow gets her phone number. I couldn’t go back home to ask why she is doing that since I was already at practice but after practice I call her and she is literally back at her house and telling me that I lied to her and that she is done with me.

I tell her that we need to just slow down we are just dating and you are doing crazy things. She agrees and we kinda slow down, after this she is still stalking my family friend. she doesn’t know that my family friend has a boyfriend and keeps looking at her stories and thinks it’s me so she jumps to conclusions and breaks up with me. I keep tryna tell her it’s not me and she keeps saying it is but we come to a agreement again and she asks me why do I still wanna date her when she’s done that, I tell her I just like her so much and wanna see how far it can go.
This is true and still is because this is still fresh. weeks later she is having conversations with her ex but she already told him that she wants me and not him anymore. he didn’t wanna let go and she was just paying him back the money she owed him but he started to make conversation with her and they were just talking like friends. Couple weeks ago he confessed to her about wanting her back and wants her to drop me and come back to him but they have a long bad history and she told him “I’m not doing that to him, I want him in my life not you just move on.”

She couldn’t and wouldn’t go back to that place he put her in so after that I’m pissed off about that whole shit and keeping contact with him.
A week ago, my family friends car stops working so she asks me to take her to target to get stuff and I did because why wouldn’t I help. I do that and we are just laughing and talking then I take a picture of her with my crocs half way in it and she posted it but next thing that happens is I get a text from the girl. She says fuck you, bye then blocks me and it hurt so fucking much like I still think about it and tried to tell her, I wasn’t doing anything with my family friend but I was blocked.
I start to post on my story and she just watches them and not saying anything. I don’t say anything as well but then she posts something about karma is coming for the people that lied to her and did her wrong which hurt because I truly wasn’t doing nothing. I didn’t wanna text her because I was still shocked that she would do that then days go by and she stops watching it.
I saw she keep going public and private on instagram so when she opened it again I like some new pictures of her then she texts and delete. I asked her what did she say and she said why am I liking her shit and I need to stop because my little girlfriend isn’t going like that like just being so petty. I've gained 2 lbs, when I should've lost around 5 or 6. Has anyone experienced this? I'm eating far less than maintenance, mostly healthy foods, plenty of water as well.

Just wanted to ask about the scales. I weighed myself this morning and I was 229. I moved my scale a few inches and was 232.
I moved it again back and forth between two specific areas and it kept flashing up as 229. Just wanted to ask if you have the same experiences when you're weighing in? What weight would you suggest I go for?
There are two very specific areas that I put my scale but just caught me off guard that it gave a different weight one time.

Hi so I'm on ndis for autism alone but also have ADHD, treatment resistant depression, PTSD, gad, sleep apnea treated the best it can but also very fatigued for unknown reasons, drs investigating but not much is being discovered.
What activities at home would you recommend for support workers for both the days I can do a bit and days I can't do much. It's actually scary how bad I've gotten and brain fog makes it hard to think of activities. I can't stand for too long and can't do a lot of physical stuff. Even sorting gets exhausting. There's clutter to declutter n I use to enjoy woodworking but so exhausted currently I dunno if I can do it. It's a very boring life when you lose your hobbies. I do believe because of some meds i have taken over a long time my Metabolism is kinda slow and i have gain weight.
I am a realy activ person and i eat over all kinda good, not the best food but far from the worst. and i dont feel i over eat that much
i do ride a bike 2 times per week, around 200Km per week in high speed (25-30 km/h)
and i do run a bit also 20-40 km per week.

I am already in therapy for diagnosed CPTSD. I was discussing the possibility of having bipolar 2 with my therapist.
She said it is definitely worth looking into. She raised a concern that I am very well spoken and self aware. In other words, she believes whatever my issue is, I’m masking it very well. She is concerned I may slip through the cracks and miss out on a diagnosis because of it.
I spoke to my local mental health community service. A lot of my ‘hypo mania’ (in quotation marks because I’m not diagnosed and am not sure it’s that) relates to behaviour to do with productivity and organisation. The lady on the phone said, ‘that’s a good thing, though.’ I said, ‘even if I’m researching productivity until four in the morning?’ Most mental health professionals are fantastic, so I tried not to lose heart and realised this woman and I probably weren’t a good fit. But I was frustrated because it wasn’t long until she began talking down to me, and getting impatient with some of my answers to her questions. But she gave me some good resources, and I’m grateful. It just felt like, now that I’m mentioning bipolar, I’m getting a different attitude from people than if I were to talk about a different mental health issue. Not sure if I’m imagining that.
Anyway, today was my doctor appointment, seeking this potential diagnosis (she’s a very good doctor, so I had to wait a week to see her).
She was very nice and kind towards me, and took my concerns very seriously. The trouble is, I think the masking thing was going on that my therapist was concerned about. When I say ‘masking,’ I don’t mean that I’m doing it deliberately. She too, felt that I’m self aware and well spoken. She is very happy with the self work I’ve done leading up to this point. She feels I don’t seem to need medication and feels like it might be adhd. I’ve honestly never been able to relate adhd symptoms to what I go through.
She said that my high moments are too close together and should only be a few times a year, if it’s bipolar. I tend to be high for maybe five days, then low for about a week. Often, I’m one week high, one week low. I’m constantly up and down. When I talk to people during a high, they get overwhelmed and sometimes annoyed.
Towards the end of the appointment, I mentioned I’ve had chronic sleep issues all my life. Lots of suicidal ideation, but no desire to act on it. As a young adult, I did too much binge drinking and have been sober for over two decades. She said, ‘oh… you just hit me with a lot of info all of a sudden. I’m a bit overwhelmed.’ She said it kindly, and we both laughed. I said, ‘this is what I’m talking about.’ lol
She hasn’t ruled out the possibility of bipolar. She is going to get blood tests and check my thyroid and organ function before proceeding. She said, based on those findings, we can work out how to proceed. She is more than happy to arrange a mental health plan and after the blood tests, a psych referral.

My deck has been established and fully blinged out for a while and the sheer amount of must play colorless cards in MH3 is exciting and sort of dreadful. I could seriously swap out 30+ cards to accommodate the new cards and new synergies with existing cards. I'll be reviewing all the new colorless cards in MH3 and the commander cards. For context, I'm tossing in reviews of the Commander Masters cards, which had some fun options for colorless, but comparatively irrelevant compared to the impact of MH3.
Note on playstyle: The reality of bringing Kozilek, Butcher of Truth to a table is it can become a game of archenemy. While too weak for cEDH, less competitive tables dread annihilator. Often it's a solitaire-style ramp, ramp, ramp until you win strategy, with minimal interaction. To build this deck for maximum efficiency, you often have to ask this question of each card. "Is this better than a mana rock?" You often cut titans and other big flashy spells to get in a 2 mana rock or an ur-golem's eye, just to make sure your ramp to Kozilek strategy keeps on track. So pre MH3, I ran Eldritch Moon Emrakul as the only other Eldrazi above 6 mana in my deck. (Probably taking that Emrakul out to try out new cards)

Emrakul, the World Anew	Modern Horizons 3	Solid	Kozilek tends to not have much of a creature board state, so you risk less than other decks in casting this. And casting this for 6 mana is actually doable with this deck. Absolutely absurd. Though discard outlets are more restricted in colorless, Fomori Vault is a great new one, and Geier Reach Sanitarium is another decent land to accomplish this. Collector's Vault could be passable. Still runs into "is a mana rock better?" issue, but this is so much bang for your buck, seems worth it.
Kozilek, the Broken Reality	Modern Horizons 3	Solid	Seems wonky, but 9 mana seems like a nice surprise when opponents think you're one mana short to cast your titan and forcing your opponents to manifest and drawing 4 cards is nice. Draws you into more ramp. Still, is it better than a mana rock?
Ulamog, the Defiler	Modern Horizons 3	Solid	Exile half the library is certainly demoralizing and could shut down an opponent relying on tutoring up combo pieces. And if you can give him haste, the annihilator is much more brutal than even Kozilek. Seems unlikely to get the sequence, but if you can follow up with casting an Oblivion Sower, it's certainly cute. Is Ulamog better than a mana rock? Possibly.
Ugin's Labyrinth	Modern Horizons 3	God	I'm not over the moon about this card in this deck, because having a 7+ drop in hand is not a given, but the potential upside of immediately tapping for 2 is so powerful compared to the opportunity cost of running some other land.
Echoes of Eternity	Modern Horizons 3	God	It's so easy to ramp this out fast in colorless and double mana rocks, cast draw triggers, annihilator triggers… Annoyingly pushed card that's a no brainer.
Kozilek's Command	Modern Horizons 3	God	Colorless desperately needs interaction and this is an absolutely perfect card for colorless because it also easily passes the "would a mana rock be better?" test because it can also ramp if you need it to. It's a kindred instant, so benefits from Eldrazi Temple/Eye of Ugin. it can creates eldrazi spawn, it can replace itself with a card draw (and if you scry 10 or whatever, perhaps you're drawing a game winning combo piece), it can exile a creature token or something with higher CMC, it can mess with your opponents grave. Couldn't ask for more.
Glaring Fleshraker	Modern Horizons 3	God	In isolation, it's solid. it's sort of like reducing the cost of spells by 1/creating a treasure token per cast. That would be a fine card, but this goes insane with the right synergies. Goes infinite, burning opponents to death when combined with Mystic Forge/Sensei's Diving Top, cards that are great in isolation. If you cast Echoes of Eternity first, you get two copies of this, 4 spawn and 16 damage per subsequent spell cast. Not infinite, but game ending all the same.
Devourer of Destiny	Modern Horizons 3	Solid	Having this in opening hand should smooth out the cost of this being potential dead weight in your hand. (Not a mana rock) Something you can pitch to Ugin's Labyrinth. Not terrible, but not excellent as a top deck later in game.
Eldrazi Ravager	Modern Horizons 3	Solid	Cycling when needed, a super early annihilator threat. Some recursion possibility with eldrazi token generation… Could partially function as a sac outlet to sac Kozilek and recast for another draw 4.
Breaker of Creation	Modern Horizons 3	Maybe	Big life gain potential since it counts lands, hexproof, annihilator… Let's say you have lightning greaves out. I like the idea of an early threat to surprise an opponent who thinks you don't have enough to cast your annihilator commander only to get hit with this one. Still, might rather have a mana rock. Bane of Bala Ged is different, but might be better at that role anyway.
Null Elemental Blast	Modern Horizons 3	Auto	Only reason I didn't put this in God tier is because of the "Is it better than a mana rock" test. In some cases, you'd have been better advancing your plan (cast Kozilek) than messing with your opponents. But this is so incredibly efficient and can keep an opponent off his plan to buy you enough time to achieve your goals
It That Heralds The End	Modern Horizons 3	Maybe	As a cost reducer, it will probably only reduce the cost of at most one spell you cast each turn, unlike other reducers that will help you chain multiple spells each turn, like Ugin, the Ineffable, Cloud Key, Jhoira's Familiar… So it'll effectively produce up to 1 mana each turn. A 2 mana rock that taps for 1 might be better. The +1/+1 to the team is cool, but the deck usually doesn't go wide. Maybe alongside newest Kozilek, Glaring Fleshraker, Forsaken Monument?
Disruptor Flute	Modern Horizons 3	Maybe	Not the type of a card I like to include, but you could use it to keep an opponent off casting their commander.
Winter Moon	Modern Horizons 3	Doubtful	Always run Winter Orb above this, if you're going that route. (Since you're likely running all or mostly nonbasics, though you have the advantage of more mana rocks than opponents.) If your opponents play mostly non-basics, you could consider this too. So awkwardly, the more casual your play environment, the worse this card is.
Vexing Bauble	Modern Horizons 3	Maybe	Can disrupt certain strategies and be cycled away when needed, can be tutored with Urza's Saga… but you might just want to play another card? Seems meta dependent.
Idol of False Gods	Modern Horizons 3	Maybe	Benefits from Eldrazi Temple/Eye of Ugin, being a kindred artifact. Seems a little slow, if you're aiming for the second ability. But mana ramp, chump blockers… Not bad.
Urza's Cave	Modern Horizons 3	God	Tutoring lands is incredibly powerful in colorless. As a cave, can be tutored by Scampering Surveyor. Echoing Deeps can become a copy of this, which is notable.
Snow-Covered Wastes	Modern Horizons 3	Solid	Not really any snow payoffs in colorless to speak of yet. Scrying Sheets? There's basic land ramp that's decent, though I'm playing around with running no basics. Tough call. Wastes and Snow-Covered Wastes are two different land names for Monument to Perfection, for what that's worth.
Solar Transformer	Modern Horizons 3	Maybe	As a 2 mana rock that taps for 1, might be fine. Though since this enters tapped, you'd have to have an energy payoff for this to actually be worth it over running other 2 mana rocks.
Conversion Apparatus	MH3 Commander	Maybe	A 3 mana rock that taps for 1, that can store up energy to tap for 3 later? Seems a little clunky, comparing to Kyren Toy or Skyclave Relic. But if you had other energy synergy, maybe.
Stone Idol Generator	MH3 Commander	Unplayable	Not what this deck is trying to do, you're generally not going wide.
Horizon of Progress	MH3 Commander	God	Unbelievably good, I've contemplated running cards like Zoetic Cavern just for the possibility of land ramp, but this is repeatable. And can even cycle itself away. Can produce colorless. Urborg or Yavimaya can allow it to tap for mana without costing life.
Lazotep Quarry	MH3 Commander	Auto	Better than High Market, a card I already love? When needed, can sacrifice Kozilek to dodge problematic removal or sacrifice just to draw 4 more cards. Has desert synergy. Can even do graveyard recursion, perhaps bringing back a combo piece like Glaring Fleshraker.
Inversion Behemoth	MH3 Commander	Doubtful	Kills walls and illusions, I guess? Really fun design/stat line, but doesn't seem to advance the game plan the deck is aiming for.
Talon Gates of Madara	MH3 Commander	God	You can instant speed play this land (ramp) AND save a creature from removal/get rid of a blockeget rid of an attacker. That's insane. It's also a gate you can tutor with Maze's End/Navigation Orb. (also at instant speed for the bonus phase out effect)
Trenchpost	MH3 Commander	Maybe	Between Cloudpost, Glimmerpost, Planar Nexus, Vesuva, Thespian's Stage, Monument to Perfection and Expedition Map, does this get there? Seems a bit dubious, but not a huge opportunity cost for the potential for lands to produce more than one mana.
Planar Nexus	MH3 Commander	God	Tutorable with Maze's End, Navigation Orb, Scampering Surveyor, Monument to Perfection… Turns on urza tron, feeds Urza's workshop, cloudpost, Baldur's Gate (longshot), counts as a gate for heap gate, desert for a variety of effects…This card is the cornerstone of a new colorless land package, if you want to build around it.
Eldrazi Confluence	MH3 Commander	Auto	Surprise! I flash in enough mana to cast Kozilek. Or surprise! You didn't block Kozilek? My 21/3 kills you in one shot. It's flexible mana ramp/chump blockers/removal/other niche utility. Absolutely the kind of interaction this deck craves.
Selective Obliteration	MH3 Commander	Solid	Interesting, you'll never lose anything and at minimum destroys every multicolor card, so probably commanders. Though likely a lot of things will survive for each player. Seems solid, though awkward. Not a board wipe like all is dust, nor targeted removal.
Eldritch Immunity	MH3 Commander	Maybe	Great effect, though not exactly needed for this deck; Kozilek dying is usually fine and making my creatures unblockable is usually unnecessary to achieve a win. Still, could win you the game, especially if going wide.
Spawnbed Protector	MH3 Commander	Solid	7 CMC for Ugin's Labyrinth. The eldrazi to hand seems powerful, though getting Eldrazi in grave is not always possible. (Eldrazi Ravager with cycling works nicely) 2 Eldrazi Scion each end step is nice, so it is a mana rock of sorts. With Echoes of Eternity, you'd get two of these and 8 scions each end step.
Twins of Discord	MH3 Commander	Solid	7 CMC for Ugin's Labyrinth. If void winnower taught us anything, it's that shutting off blockers is better than you expect. And this lets you choose odd or even each combat phase, so you can adjust to whatever is on board. Though the eternal question; would I rather have a mana rock?
Ulamog's Dreadsire	MH3 Commander	Doubtful	Cute, but at 10 mana, I'd sooner go for a titan with immediate impact.

I went to community college and have an associates degree. I’m really grateful for the opportunity I got, but there are definitely some downsides.
1) Longer Graduation Time - the 2 years cc + 2 years university pathway really only works if you’re studying something in liberal arts. For STEM, it can take much longer simply due to the fact that your community college might not have your major courses. For example, someone in community college transferring to Mechanical Engineering might still need an additional 3 years to graduate, since they might have missed the freshman and sophomore major specific classes (machine shop, intro to mech e, engineering and society).
2) Lack of Academic Encouragement- for some people, they need to be in a fast paced environment to stay on track. At community college, it is very easy to stay complacent and drop in grades.
3) Loss of freshman financial aid benefits - some universities reserve scholarships for incoming freshman, which could end up offsetting the opportunity cost of going to community college first.
4) Loss of Networking - as hard as someone might try to recoup their junior and senior year, a freshman who has been there all 4 years and established strong connections with peers and involved with clubs longer will likely have a better career outcome. Obviously your mileage may vary, but someone with the same amount of vigor is going to go farther if they did all 4 years than if they had transferred.

Recently, I’ve been trying out the OP08 Marco and King on the Eastern server in the Sim, but whenever I play Marco, basically every time I find a player they either concede immediately or right after their mulligan. It’s been getting kind of annoying, but I was hoping wondering-has this been happening to others? Even in the Western or Unlimited Sims, but any player who just doesn’t let you play the game because they didn’t get a good hand. I’ve been trying to test out these decks but all I’m getting is literally just Marco mirrors and every other deck is just not letting me in lay them. Understandable if they don’t want to lose but that on top of lobbies being full/filled all the time, I can barely find a fun game and am stuck playing the same leaders over and over again. For some context, just tonight this happened to me 7 times while playing Marco and even Blue Doffy, all I’m trying to say is please don’t be one of those people and just play a fair and fun game with your opponent. Hi everyone, so I went no contact with 2 of my friends who I think have been quite selfish over the years. I sent letters recently to officially end the friendships.
I didn't really go too personal with what my gripes were to them. I'm still figuring everything out that I'm mad at. As for the friend that has emailed me, I felt I was under his thumb, he was more overtly abusive when we were younger, mean pranks, making fun of me in front of people, taking photos of me while I was naked (changing, showering etc), stealing from me plus more. Recently it's been more covert narcissist type stuff, it's hard for me to even say what it is, I just don't feel good when I'm around. It doesn't help that we gambled together and got addicted, I'm in Gambler's Anonymous now and starting to get better, I'm not supposed to associate with other gamblers anyway.
Here is the email titled "letter received", I've redacted personal info. I just want to know what, if any, red flags you notice. I'll explain more in the comments if needed. The people he talks about losing aren't dead, they are an ex friend and ex fiance that chose to end the relationships as well. Here it is:

I received your letter this morning and honestly, I feel very sick and upset about it and I do deserve a chance to respond. As I’m sure you understand I have questions.
Firstly, a response to how you think I’ve gone about things in the wrong way… the password resets were not a way of getting in touch I was genuinely surprised I couldn’t get in to Disney and thought I was putting it in wrong, it was only on the second time I realised what you had done. But of course you never communicated that to me. I was not ‘involving’ your family. You have to remember that we’re all sitting here for a very long time with no answers wondering how our friend is getting on and keen to see him, but being blocked with no explanation forces me to reach out to your mum and ask how you’re doing, I think about you all the time. So then after your mum said what she said I was thinking ‘ahh he’s really down, what can I do without seeing him?’ So I just sent some money and was saying ‘get a takeaway on me’. It was just a kind gesture from a friend to try and boost morale, because obviously I’m thinking what your mum is saying is true. So I don’t think the way you have gone about things during this time has also been that great, it’s been very confusing and unfair.
Now, I don’t think just saying you don’t want to be friends with me anymore and that you think our relationship is toxic, and then not going on to say any of the reasons why, is so unfair. And that’s what’s made me feel quite uneasy tbh, what a huge blow to the gut. Toxic means very harmful or unpleasant, and so that’s what our friendship is to you? I’ve seen you have these types of friendships and never thought in a million years i would be on the receiving end of it. So, yes I would like a much better explanation than the one in your letter, I thought we had much more mutual respect and understanding. So what have I done? And what have I done so suddenly on wrestlemania week that triggered all of this? Because in my opinion, I think our relationship is very much on the opposite side of toxic, I find that all we do is laugh pretty much and that hanging out with you definitely takes the edge off a stressful or bad day and it’s something I look forward to. And I also think I keep you away somewhat from real toxic shit like drugs, and get you doing the things that you’re really good at. I do what I can to help always, you’re my best and oldest friend. And yes, you feeling like this a while without saying anything and feeling obligated to keep the friendship going definitely makes me feel sick. There was no need to be fake when you can just speak up. I’m definitely sorry that I’ve made you feel any of this. You can come to me about anything, like always, and the same from me to you.
My main concern will always be us, that we’re happy and healthy and having a good time.
We’ve been together our entire lives and have such a catalog of memories, saying goodbye to all this is really the biggest shame and would make me very sad. And therefore, I’m really hoping that you can reconsider? I mean, absolutely have whatever space you need but I do urge you to reconsider on throwing away 30 years of everything. From the bottom of my heart I do apologise for ANY wrongdoing that I have done in the last couple of years and just know nothing has been with intent or malice. I just don’t want to throw this away when it’s salvageable. When a relationship breaks down or has issues, you open up and talk about them, you iron them out and you move past it. And clearly that hasn’t happened here before chucking it away. So please reconsider and open up to me, I would of course make whatever changes I can in the friendship to save it. We can change what we do, where we go, how we act, how often etc. I honestly don’t mind, I’m just unaware what the issues are at the moment, but I would very much like to move forward and past this. I have struggled to find capable video editors recently, with a large amount of them slacking on what they needed to do. I hate, and I mean I hate when I have to repeat myself 10x on what to do during a single project. However, there was this one guy called video editor named Armstwrong. Armstwrong has this amazing talent for blending visuals, sound, and storytelling in a way that’s both super informative and incredibly engaging. Okay, so episode 100 wasn’t great, and it’s kind of emblematic of the series’s overall problems as of late, but I think there were a lot of solid ideas that were poorly executed in the writing and some solid scenes and acting beats that made for a decent directorial debut for Daniel.
I like the idea of the episode being a “greatest hits” type thing looking back on the show’s history with callbacks and references to earlier seasons and recreations of iconic moments from those seasons. The four fields motif is such a cool idea. I don’t even mind the episode partially being a glorified clip show. With their budget restrictions, I can see it being necessary. Power Rangers did a similar thing with their 500th for budget reasons and still came out with a really good episode. Legacy Of Power is proof you can do a clip show creatively and effectively.
I think this episode should’ve leaned into that aspect more and focused entirely on Spencer and his relationship with the rest of the cast. The Miko case can take a back seat for an episode, and the Jordayla stuff is cute, but the surprise wedding thing is dumb. I would’ve just had her go all in on doing the wedding planning solo when she senses Jordan backing off from it and maybe trying to push up the date with the planners until Jordan finds out, and they have that super wholesome conversation at the end.
The dream sequence with Shawn is awesome. His return was a surprise to me. I wanted a little more creativity in the cinematography. Some color grading, dynamic lighting, maybe a dolly zoom. Asher’s dream sequence did this really well. There was a surreal atmosphere to it. Dream sequences are where you get to just go crazy as a writer and a director. No rules. No continuity. You get to freely explore your character and use any means to make the statement you wanna make about them.
The purpose of this dream is to highlight the pressure Spencer feels as a representative of his community in Crenshaw at this stage of his football career now that the NFL, his number one goal since episode one, is within arms reach, and his arc in the episode is going from that to realizing through Shawn that Crenshaw has been there for him throughout this journey as much as he’s been there for them, and that his community is an ally and asset to his dreams and not just a responsibility. (This could’ve made for some nice callbacks to Spencer’s arguments with Billy in season one about needing a way out and his community being a burden. Good excuse to use those clips too)
I would’ve started the episode “during the national championship”. Spencer takes a hit. He’s on the ground. Looks injured. Maybe even clutches the shoulder he got shot in. Then we get the scene with Shawn. Skip over the part where they both acknowledge they’re in a dream. I want maximum audience confusion at this point. Spencer is still in his GAU uniform when Shawn picks him up. We get the “don’t you got somewhere more important to be?” line from Shawn. Spencer says “what?” Close up shot on him. He’s wearing his pee wee uniform. Zoom out. Shawn is gone. Spencer looks behind him. We see that stampede of kids. He starts running. We can transition into the flashback of kid Spencer from season one running to the end zone, but this time, he keeps running because we film new footage of kid Spencer running from the other players which is shot from the side. This way we can hide that it’s not the same actor from season one. Transition to the same shot but with teen Spencer in his Beverly uniform, and then his Crenshaw uniform. It’s kinda like the Thor growing up scene from Love and Thunder. In each scene transition, he runs faster, and there’s fewer people behind him to visualize him running from his community which isn’t what he’s doing per se, but it’s what he’s afraid of doing.
He wakes up, and most of the episode is the same, sans the coop legal stuff. I’d also add in a Corey grave scene after the first three field scenes. In the original episode, Layla talks to coop at the Baker house which triggers the wedding stuff. In my version, I want a scene with her and Spencer at the Rose Bowl the night before the national championship. This is a callback and kind of a payoff to their Rose Bowl scene from season one. Let’s say Spencer asks her to come to the stadium with him after he visits the other fields so that he can get some more clarity on what he’s feeling. This is a platonic Spayla moment, not a romantic one. They’re still friends, and I hate that we don’t get to see them interact much anymore. She was the closest person to him at the start of his journey. Surely she can help him find some of the answers he needs.
She can be the first one to get him to open up about the weight of Crenshaw being on his shoulders going into this game. She can tell him how she didn’t really understand when they were together why he always carried that weight with him, especially when it came to football, but now that she has a club in Crenshaw and has spent time there and tried to build up the hip hop scene there and integrated herself into the community, she understands better what it means to him. We can flash back to their argument from just before the state championship game junior year. After that, she can ask him what the scariest thing he’s ever done is. He says jumping in front of the bullet to save Olivia. Then they have the same conversation Layla and Coop originally had which triggers the wedding stuff. If we have time for it, Spencer can try to apologize for how messy their breakup was, and she can tell him that it was a long time ago and that she’s already forgiven him. We never got to see that resolution between them, so this feels like a good place for it.
The second Billy Baker Field scene is the same except, after Chris says “you’re playing for all of us”, we flash back to Spencer’s division player of the year speech.
Before the game, I want a scene with Spencer and Jordan on the bus. Just a quick little scene of them hyping each other up and talking about how far they’ve come together. It’s an homage to their bus scene from the season one finale.
Asher playing in this game is a great payoff to an arc that was really poorly set up. Asher should’ve started wanting to play again at the end of season 5, trained during the one year time skip, and received a backup spot on the roster at the start of the season only to decide against playing because of Jaimie’s reservations. If that’s how they did it, you could change almost none of the Asher stuff in this episode, and it would’ve been great. Jaimie and AJ should be at the game with him, and when he walks out in full gear, she should be there to support his decision before he steps out onto the field. The injury fakeout was really poorly done. They’ve already done this scene better with Spencer at the jamboree game in season 2. It should’ve been a shot for shot remake of that scene.
The rest of the episode can be the exact same. I love that the final touchdown is an homage to Spencer and Jordan’s first touchdown but with the roles reversed, and everything after the game is good as is.

This is gonna be a lengthy one. So, ive had relationships in the past that I thought I was in “love” right? Maybe not healthy love but I thought it was. I mean, most of us have been there. We think they’re the one even when they treat us shïtty and don’t actually respect us lol. This is my 4th relationship and this has been very different. We’ve been dating for about 8 months. By far the longest person I’ve dated without a title, but we treat each other as bf/gf. ( we both realize that we aren’t under a label but we still act respectfully and have boundaries as one would in a relationship.) he hasn’t met all of my family and that’s something that’s important for him before making things official (which I totally get) it’s just that my family is dysfunctional so I’m slightly ashamed of them and their lack of. But this has been so different that it genuinely scares me. You see, in past relationships it felt like saying “I love you” was… I don’t want to say “easy” but just not as heart pounding, earth shattering nervousness I guess??? I just want to blurt it out. When I’m laying on his chest, when he does that goofy little smile, when he’s talking about something that he’s passionate about, when he’s getting ready for the day, when he’s about to kiss me, when he has that look in his eyes that he denies is there when I call it out. And especially when he acts all bratty and jokingly claims that I “hate him” for not driving across town at midnight for some cuddles (which I usually end up doing anyway cause i don’t hate him… I love his ass ) He makes me want to create a better future for myself. And for him. For the first time ever I’m thinking of marriage and what it would be like. We’ve had our arguments and bad days but it was always addressed in the healthiest way I was ever used to. We’ve both hit a bump in the road throughout the dating and if anything we’re so much better because of it. But I’m so scared of saying it. I don’t know why. I know he feels the same I literally feel it in the room when we’re together. It follows us wherever we go. I guess I’m just scared of that off chance of how he’d react to it? Our chemistry is probably the best I’ve ever experienced. Has anyone ever been through the same situation and being scared to death even when they had a feeling that they felt the same? Once upon a time the majority of round-trip flights were cheaper than booking two one-way airfare flights. That’s no longer the situation today. For instance, Southwest and Jetblue set their prices for their flights on a one-way basis; and a round-trip flight is only the sum of the 2 one-way rates. So, you’ll want to check one-way flight rates to ensure you buy the best round-trip deal by pairing two one-way flight tickets, probably on two different carriers.

Look for one seat at a time

There exists a virtually unknown quirk in how carriers price seats which could result in greater prices if searching for many passengers as opposed to a single ticket. Airlines put their inventory in fare classes, or called buckets, which are not always obviously visible to customers.
