the $50 in inflated crypto you receive per sad depressed student who is gullible enough to pay a user named apexamleaks__ (with two underscores) on discord created yesterday surely makes no dent in the vast amount of debt you have accumulated as a generous nonprofit that provides high schoolers with the unique opportunity to earn college credit as a high schooler and take an exam originally envisioned by an anti-immigrant eugenicist.
if you need donations, just ask! I have, I guess by now a formerly really close friend, I’d go as far as to say best friend, who suddenly stopped talking to me and fully ignores me when I try to say hi or wave to her. We live in the same small town, so running into each other is pretty much inevitable. I suspect I know the vague-ish reason for why she has beef with me, and I’m pretty sure it’s because of her (now ex) boyfriend, who was and currently is my friend. It’s likely that she had some assumptions about us and was under then impression that her bf and I had something going on, or that I wanted her man.
To provide context for my friendships with them both, all three of us joined the same sports club. I had known the ex-bf for years, because we went to the same high school, and I was the one who introduced them and got them together in the first place. Now, this guy friend is not someone I would not say I’m that close to. I hardly ever see him anymore, because we live in different cities now, and the only times we text each other are in a group chat with one other friend, and all we do is send funny reels to each other and laugh. Nothing personal, nothing that would indicate something else between us. The only “close friends” thing we do is go on the same friend group trips, but even then we aren’t that close.
The two of them got together last March, and broke up around this April. I would have suspected that she started ignoring me because of the break up, but she had been acting strange around me since as early as January. For her birthday in February, I got her some books I knew she would like, and she didn’t say thank you, or even acknowledge the gifts.
I think I might be overly idealistic about wanting to fix this friendship, but we were really good friends and now that they are broken up, I want to clear the air with her about whatevr it is that caused her to ignore me. I just don’t know where to start. Is this situation even something that can be salvaged? Is it worth it?

I bet he didn't realize just how dedicated the fans of the "cute little blonde girl" would be. But in all honesty, he was posting about his podcast charting at number 3 I think (?) and I just took a look and it dropped to 61 which is a massive drop. I guess good things really do happen to good people while being condescending and rude leads to well...nothing, really. My grandmother died in February. I hadn't seen her - or many members of that side of the family - since 2018, the year I got married. After my divorce in 2020, I moved to NYC. I've had a rough past few years, emotionally and financially. My Nana and those relatives spent their time in Florida, Texas, and Alabama (where I am from originally). Whenever I visited my immediate family, the extended family wouldn't be there.
I deeply regret not making the time to see my grandmother before she passed. I grieved her immediately, breaking into tears and weeping for weeks. I contemplated and researched the afterlife. When I texted my dad to ask, "When will the funeral be? Nothing could keep me away", he replied, "5.18.2024."
May 18 is my birthday.
I typed a message asking why my birthday was chosen, but quickly deleted it. I tried to calmly ask my mother privately and she became irritable, yelling at me, "Do not bring this up to your father. He's going through a lot."
I found out over time that because the ground was frozen in Vermont (where my grandmother raised her family before retiring in Florida), and Vermont is where she wanted her ashes to be buried, they had to postpone the funeral. She had seven children who had to pick a date that worked for all of them. But still...my birthday? My dad didn't care to speak up about it being his only daughter's birthday?
Here's the thing: my whole life, I have felt like the least favorite grandchild, niece, cousin, etc. I knew deep down that my grandmother loved me, but it was clear she loved others more. One time she chose to take my cousin to Disney World the same day my family had driven in to visit her. She told my father to come the next day, but he didn't listen, and decided to surprise her instead. She grew irate and rushed to beat us home so we wouldn't find out, but my Grandpa spilled the beans. She could have waited a day to take me and my brother, but didn't. We never went to Disney World with her.
She was a devout Catholic her entire life, but rolled her eyes when my eleven-year-old-self - a Southern Baptist at the time - suggested we all pray before we eat dinner. When she and my mother found me sitting alone one day (as a thirteen-year-old), I told them I was contemplating my future, and whether I could get into Harvard or travel to Europe. She burst out laughing as if that was the most hilarious joke ever told. (She never got a degree or worked.)
I've been writing creatively since childhood, but she always told me I needed a "real career" and I couldn't dream about becoming a writer. I have been tall and thin my whole life. When I began modeling, she said, "Modeling is not for you." She showered my cousins in praise and validation and gifts. She sent me gifts and cards, don't get me wrong, but the difference in quality was obvious. She scolded me over things my cousins got away with easily.
I loved my grandmother. I love my parents. I didn't want to hurt my dad so I kept my feelings inside and told myself my birthday was not important. But then my fiance and I went to dinner a week early to celebrate, and my parents didn't even wish me a happy birthday. They didn't send a card. I asked why. My mother replied, "Isn't your birthday next Saturday? We'll celebrate you on May 20 when we are all together in your city."
After she said this, it sunk in for me that they never intended to even acknowledge me at all on my birthday. So I changed my return flight from the 19th to the 18th. I asked my dad if he could drive me to the airport on my birthday after the funeral, and he said no because he had to "spend time with family." So I secured a rental car. I would now fly from Vermont to Detroit and finally return home to NYC at midnight on my birthday.
I have lived in NYC for four years, and for four years, my parents have made excuse after excuse not to visit me. I had to beg my dad to agree to visit me in NYC on their drive back from Vermont to Alabama, which he didn't want to do. He didn't want to drive into NYC to pick me up either. Originally my parents were supposed to pick me up from the train station in New Jersey this Thursday, and I would fly back home on the 19th, and they would FINALLY visit me in Manhattan on the 20th. It was all set. I was looking forward to exploring my dad's home town with him and spending some quality time together a few days before the funeral. Then out of the blue, my mom insisted I fly in on Friday instead, under the guise of saving my PTO. But really they just wanted to get to Vermont sooner. I told my dad this hurt my feelings, that I had been looking forward to spending private time with my parents in his hometown.
Today I called them and asked for help covering my Ubers to and from the airports. I'm living paycheck to paycheck, and they know this. Nana's will insisted that her estate would cover everyone's accommodations at her funeral, and I was originally told that I would get my own hotel room. Then I found out that I would be sharing a house with my parents and multiple relatives who were part of the original discussion to plan the funeral on my birthday. That didn't sit right with me. I wanted to go for my Nana and my dad. I didn't want to have to stay in the same house as people who don't care about me.
I finally told my dad today how I feel, on speaker phone while he and my mom were driving across the country towards Vermont. I said I couldn't believe they planned Nana's funeral on my birthday, when they had months to plan for any other date. I told him how my mother wouldn't let me express my feelings to him everytime I tried to calmly ask why, why MY birthday, of all the birthdays in the family? Why did it have to be on anyone's birthday? I said this has been a recurring theme all my life, that nobody in this family cares about me. He replied, "Don't come. If that's how you feel, don't come."
So now I am crying and wondering if I should cancel my flights and rental car, and miss out on my Nana's funeral, or just go, despite the fact that nobody wants me there...and based on their choice of date, maybe they never did.

Notes: This is more of a venting but I need advice post. Also a lot of story telling for background info.
TLDR; My friend/crush hasn't responded to my texts for 2 weeks after he said he missed me. He's been online but is leaving me on delivered. Everything has gone positively and perfect up until now. And I am nervous for the worst case scenario. What do I do?
I (20'sF) have been friends with this guy (20'sM) for 5 years. We have a lot in common. From religion to music to overall interests. We can agree on a lot. I had a huge crush on him when we went to school. But he had rejected me because he didn't want a relationship. In which he has stuck to for the 5 years I've known him. After school he joined the military and I'd hear from him once or twice every couple of months. Which was okay because it gave me time to relieve my crush on him. But overall he was the ideal guy, I find him highly attractive, super intelligent, and overall a great person.
I never truly got over the crush, but I just let it sit in the back of my head.
We both went on with our lives, I had my first boyfriend. But it never worked out. But last summer he came home and asked if I wanted to go out. So I was excited to agree to it. We spent all day together, just talking about random stuff and catching up on life. He asked me to hang out again the next day so we went to a movie. It all went fairly well, it just felt like we were reconnecting and we became stronger friends.
After he left I went on with my life as he went on with his. I had gone out on one date with a former classmate from high school. And it didn't work out because there wasn't a connection. But when November came around, my friend had text me and asked if he should come home. In fact, his reasoning of coming home was to see his family and because he had missed me.
We had only talked 2-3 times a month between him leaving and him coming home again.
He came home in December and he had text me to make plans. He wanted to go ice skating and so he took me for the first time. He had insisted on putting my skates for me because I was struggling. And he wanted to hold my hand so he could protect me from falling. After that we went to a mall and he bought me a candle (and one for himself). Then we went to a pho cafe and had lunch. I got to hear his fun stories from when he had pho as a kid. It was so fun just listening to him be excited about what he likes. Although he isn't a talkative guy, he's always been known to be really quiet and introverted.
Later after that, we went back to my house and spent some time talking. He found interest in my rings and asked about them. He was just sitting next to me and ASKED if he could kiss me. I have never really heard of someone asking first. But I am also inexperienced in kissing, so that explains it. We had kissed and then we went up to my room and cuddled. We just appreciated each other's presence, kissing, holding hands, laughing, playing with each other's hair, all of that.
A couple days later, I saw this car rolling up my street slowly while I was out walking my dog. It happened to be him and his parents. They knew about me and wanted to see where I lived. So I got to meet his parents. Later on, my friend would text me and ask various questions his parents had for me.
I invited him over a couple days before he left for his home. I made him dinner and we had a drink or two. After that we went to my room again to watch tv and cuddle. We basically did what we did the previous time and some other things. The next day, I was just hanging out at home and I heard a car door outside. It was my friend. He stopped by to say goodbye before he left to go home. He said bye, kissed me once more, and then got in his dad's vehicle and left.
When he got home we talked almost everyday with maybe a 3-4 day break in between talking. Which was a huge step. He'd complement me, say that he thought I was really sweet, he wished me happy birthday 4 times (yes, 4 times. He was also the first to say it), and things of that sort. I returned the complements and so on. He even joked about us getting married. Which was so sweet. We've talk about how we missed each other several times and how we can't wait to see each other again. Talked about when he'll come home and that I'd be one of the main reasons he'd come home. Everything is great. Although he didn't want a relationship until the future. Which is okay, because he has stuck to that for the years I've known him. But everything still went fairly smoothly. It feels like a fresh breath of air.
I would always ask him how he is doing. Or he'd just tell me about his day before I could even ask. If I was delayed in response, I'd always apologize and he'd say there was nothing to be sorry about. He'd constantly reassure me. Which is a great sign, friend-wise and potential-partner-wise. He is such a great guy personality wise, highly intelligent, very kind, likes to listen but is generally a quiet person, always tells the truth, has a good sense of humor, and so on. He's also always happy for me when I talk about something like a job offering or something big in my life. As I'm always happy for him when he has something exciting going on. We're always supporting each other and hoping that we're in the best shape.
All the way up until 2 weeks ago, everything went incredibly well. I have never had a guy actually treat me like this. I mean, things could still be well, but who knows.
He had texted me one morning like usual. So I responded when I was able to (maybe an hour later). And I haven't heard from him since. I get that life gets in the way or he may have to prioritize something differently. But it is unlike him to just drop out. I've occasionally noticed that he had been online. So why isn't he responding? I know well that he isn't seeing anyone. Since he sticks to his word. Plus his last words to me were: "I miss spending time with you" (we were talking about something he missed from back home and that he didn't know when he'll get to return). I texted him after not hearing from him for a week and still nothing. I am afraid he is ghosting me although I feel like he wouldn't do such thing. I just get scared of that from past experiences. So, maybe he is just busy? Maybe he has something high-priority going on? Maybe he is just being his introverted self and kinda keeping to himself? We are just friends for now so it shouldn't bother me too much. But I still get worried for him. (although when I mentioned a few years ago that I got worried for him, he had said that he hopes I didn't worry too much). I understand that it would be difficult for us to date and that maybe right now wouldn't be a good time to date since neither of us are in a position to date (we're both still trying to find a balanced routine, calm down, take care of ourselves, and navigate being adults lol. plus I am just starting in a professional workforce so I am trying to balance life with that too).
What do I do? Does anyone have a take or any advice on this?

Life is driving me Mad. I've never made a reddit post, so please forgive any ignorance. First I will begin by saying, I'm so done.... I'm a mom of three children, 1 (6 yr old boy) and 2 (2 yr old twin girls). I don't even know where to start... I guess I'll start with how my situation is going right now and then work backwards to how it all began... I am currently working as a FT MA and I live with my son and I don't live with my twin girls. How is that possible? You ask. Well, it all began after I had my twins... I am a petite woman at only 4'4" so my twins came out early (NICU Babies). They thrived in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). The twins were in the NICU for 1 month and then finally came home. I was filled with so much joy and happiness. My son would come help me with the bottle and read them books, my life felt complete ❤️ If you know me well, you would know that my life as a child was ust full of bad luck and sadness and pain. I try not to think about it and keep trying to live life. No matter how hard life got I tried to stay optimistic and kept pushing forward... And those few moments of joy and fulfillment almost got me to believe that I finally did it and I was proud of my hard work and success, for those few moments. Twin A almost gained her wings that day... And I fell right back into that dark hole I worked so hard to crawl out of... My life at that moment felt like I was trying to control a ship in a really harsh storm, and during that storm I lost my home, I lost a car, someone stole my wallet, Twin B was diagnosed with the same condition as her sister and ended up in the hospital too, we basically lived in the hospital for half a year, hopping from roomate to roomate from Facebook Marketplace until we saved enough money to get our own place again. Me and the Kid's Dad ended up separating, I was paying for a 2Bed 2Bath on my own income and it was a struggle but me and my son managed. I ended up talking to my best friend of 11 yrs (M) and we ended up falling in love. After dating for a while he ended up wanting to help me with finances so we moved in together. And we both work Full time jobs. I thought things would calm down for a while so I can find stability again. And now I can talk about my condition, it's not horrible. I need surgery and if not there's a possibility of me losing mobility in my limbs. I've already been missing days for being sick due to the condition and have been getting paid less. The thing is though, surgery is expensive and I'm already missing days, I get FMLA without benefits and I have to be out of work for a month. I don't even know what to do. My life has to fall back into place like a domino affect. I get healthy again, I do what I need to do to get a big enough place for my children with a stable job. I wish it was that simple.... I need some advice or words of encouragement, I honestly feel like I can't handle this anymore.

Life is driving me Mad. I've never made a reddit post, so please forgive any ignorance. First I will begin by saying, I'm so done.... I'm a mom of three children, 1 (6 yr old boy) and 2 (2 yr old twin girls). I don't even know where to start... I guess I'll start with how my situation is going right now and then work backwards to how it all began... I am currently working as a FT MA and I live with my son and I don't live with my twin girls. How is that possible? You ask. Well, it all began after I had my twins... I am a petite woman at only 4'4" so my twins came out early (NICU Babies). They thrived in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). The twins were in the NICU for 1 month and then finally came home. I was filled with so much joy and happiness. My son would come help me with the bottle and read them books, my life felt complete ❤️ If you know me well, you would know that my life as a child was ust full of bad luck and sadness and pain. I try not to think about it and keep trying to live life. No matter how hard life got I tried to stay optimistic and kept pushing forward... And those few moments of joy and fulfillment almost got me to believe that I finally did it and I was proud of my hard work and success, for those few moments. It wasn’t consensual. Either way. Originally he told me it was when I posted about it yesterday, but he came to me last night and said he didn’t deserve my support, he said he was just as bad.

On his 19th birthday, she came over and brought alcohol. Everyone at the party drank, he drank a bit too much but managed to pass out in his bed. When he woke up she was fully on top of him, he said when he realized who it was he wanted to cry but couldn’t, he tried to get up but she just put a blanket over his face and didn’t stop until she was done with him. When she was gone he thought about what just happened for a bit and managed to go back to sleep.
Every birthday, she started doing it to him. He’d drink and wake up to her doing this to him, she would invite herself over so he had no way to hide from her, she was his moms sister after all, outside of what she was doing to him they had a regular family relationship neither of them mentioned it to anyone, not even each other. Eventually he got a lock on his door so when she would come over he would lock himself in his room away from her, he told me the first night he realized something bad wasn’t happening to him because she finally couldn’t get to him, he didn’t even sleep, he felt so happy.
So Everytime she would come over he would go to bed, with his door locked and he was safe. He also started drinking less, he was always told to drink more by her, he was an alcoholic at the time and she made sure to take advantage of that. But he started filling his shot glass with water. She would get too drunk and she would pass out before him. He would go to bed safe.
One day she brought over her boyfriend and he treated her very good, he bought her expensive things and gave her love and affection. She mentioned how she tried anal but she didn’t like it so her boyfriend didn’t pressure her into it again. This made my boyfriend angry, he hated that she got an option, she got to say what she wanted, she got to say no but she never gave him that choice.
That night they drank, he went to his room, locked the door and thought about how lucky she was. She didn’t have anything bad happening to her, she had a choice so why did he deserve this? He left his room. He kicked her lightly and she didn’t wake up, he tapped her face lightly, she didn’t wake up, he splashed water in her face, she didn’t wake up. So he sat there for a long time but eventually did what she had been doing to him all these years. He would yell at her as he did it, telling her that he didn’t deserve that, that he trusted her and she ruined his childhood, he would ask her how she liked it, and he would tell her that he was just glad it finally wasn’t him, that now it was her. but of course she wouldn’t wake up to answer. He would finish and come back minutes later to do it again, he’d yell at her every single time, sometimes he would cry.
So that’s how it was now, she would come over, he would be safe from her. She wouldn’t hurt him. They would drink, he would fake his shots, they would go to bed. Sometimes he would just lock himself in his room and do nothing, he was just happy it wasn’t him, she wasn’t hurting him anymore. But sometimes he would do what she did to him. Every time he would yell at her and say all the things he wanted to say to her.
He explained that he felt like she deserved it, that even if he told anyone she wouldn’t go to jail, she would get away with it, he explained that jail was better than how she made him feel, he had to live with the fear and trauma everyday.
It reminded me of this time he and I drank, we had a bath together, he drank too much and started crying, he wouldn’t tell me why. But I got him out of the bath and put him to bed, he never put his clothes on and just fell asleep like that. When he woke up and realized he wasn’t wearing anything I remember the way he looked at me, he looked like he wanted to cry, he asked if I touched him and I told him I didn’t. He looked relieved when I told him that, but the way he looked, the horror and sadness on his face, I’ll never forget that. Now it makes sense, I asked him about it and he said he just had a mini memory and sorta forgot who he was really with.
When she passed away after an OD it hit him hard, he told me it felt like a trauma relief but he was so devastated that she would never apologize for what she did to him. He felt like he never got closure.
I was also r-worded when I was younger, I remember hoping that the person who did it to me would experience the same thing. In a weird way I understand how he felt and oddly enough I don’t blame him because I understand how it felt, to be powerless and want to gain that power back, to also wish that person knew how it really felt. It’s gunna be a long one so I suggest getting your self a drink get comfy and I’ll try to make it the easiest read I can. As the title suggests this is what happened to me, my wife and our 2 year old son. The lord as my witness everything written is 100 percent true and accurate with many witnesses.
I don’t even know where to start this so I’ll just go from where I feel is relevant, I 31 male moved to Cornwall uk in 2018 then 24 coming up to 25. I moved into a beautiful one bedroom flat with sea views with nothing but a motorbike 1 bag on my back and a starting date for work 18th February 2018.
All was fine everything was going good life was finally looking up I moved from a city to rural countryside breathtaking beaches, beautiful people and I was ready to finally start adulthood. When I moved into my flat I had nothing, absolutely nothing apart from 7 days worth of clean boxers and socks a guitar and some chef whites. The flat was unfurnished apart from a bed frame and a chest of drawers so naturally I would have to buy everything I needed while I was there, I didn’t even have a mattress for my bed. 2018 was a big year for Cornwall as we had the beast of the east, heavy snow (now I like snow and being a northern boy I was used to it but this stuff came down thick and heavy)! As I said I had a motorbike for transport and I was in work when the beast of the east hit and obviously couldn’t ride back home as the snow was about 2 ft deep by the time I left.
So I walk home and as soon as you entered my flat my bedroom was to the right of the front door a cubard directly in front of you my bathroom just to the left and my living room just down the hallway to the left also. In my hall way I had a shoe rack where I always used to put my shoes, now given I had just walked 3 miles in the snow I could swear I put my bike boots on said shoe rack when I got home. Any way I carried on with my evening as normal and played guitar drank a few beers and just generally chilled before getting my head down. I was sleeping on my couch as my mattress hadn’t arrived yet, but the next morning when I woke up my bike boots was in-front of the couch like some one had jumped on them walked up to where I was sleeping and jumped out. Not only that my heater had been pulled out of the alcove it was in and turned on. I passed this off as nothing it was probably just me and I didn’t remember.
Fast forward a few months nearly a year and I’m all settled my flat is great, my work is great life is good. I met a beautiful young lady (that’s now my wife) although we just started as friends. I’m so happy.
How ever I worked on a holiday park as a chef, one day I get a knock on the back door to the kitchen. There was a man that I had been serving all week and he said sorry to bother you but my wife would like a word with you. Now I’m thinking great what have I done now. But she was smiling and happy and said to me is your gf or wife pregnant I had neither at the time, so I responded nope why do you ask? She told me her name it was carrol (forget her second name) she was a head at a spiritual church in wales. She proceeded to tell me I had a little boys spirit following me around and she could see him. I didn’t know how to react, so I just said oh ok really! And took her details added her on Facebook etc etc, now a few months go by things in the flat was getting weird not that I recognised at the time but like things moving / going missing and I just played it off like it was me being tired from work.
Again fast forward a little bit I’m dating my now wife and mother to my children, she’s staying over but she worked evenings till early hours in the morning when i would wait to go pick her up, at this point I had sold my motorbike to buy a car (more practical and I needed one as per the condition where I worked was I had to have a car to collect stock of a morning).
One night she was in work I was sat at my table designing her tattoo for the back of her leg as I love to draw, I used to have lanterns on my table that where on like a metal frame but they could swing. That night I was drawing both lanterns where swinging in unison so I FaceTimed I will call her red (as I don’t wish to identify her by name). While on face time I showed her the lanterns and I stepped away from the table thinking my shading was moving them and the second I did I swear to the almighty lord they stoped dead! Dead centre like they hadn’t even moved. She witnessed this and was like what the ****.
But once again we put it to the back of our minds and fast forward a few days / maybe a week. I used to have a picture of red and her best friend one of them stupid long ones that you get from a photo machine at an arcade, locked behind my intercoms phone. One day we was stood in the living room and i promise no one was near it but this picture came from behind the phone and landed in the middle of the living room floor. We laughed about it at the time and was like oooooo spooky but we was stupid!
So strange things kept happening red hated being in the flat on her own and hated being in my room as I had a built in wardrobe and she would always say she felt uneasy. The strange things never stopped but we always just brushed it off. Until …….
Our son is born now there’s a 2 year gap where my little lad I’ll refer to him as A, the happings never stopped or eased but we would always just pass it off, how ever when A was about 2 he would always talk to him self in the kitchen and say brother, look daddy brother but not a second later he would scream. Any one whos a parent knows there kids sounds and this sound instantly got my back up am talking as a father hearing my son make this noise I was ready to kill, the anger and rage that I felt inside was something I can’t even put into words, my baby boy was terrified of something and fatherly instincts kicked in.
Every morning while at this flat I would wake up with little bumps or marks across my body, but I always thought it was where I slept or how I slept, but red noticed the same time my lad was doing what he was in the kitchen I was waking up with what looked like chain marks around my wrists and arms and sometimes I awoke with scratches not 4 or 5 like a human hand but 3, just 3 linear scratches across my body.
Covid 2.0 come along, we all get locked down now hear I am with a young family so I did my door badge, I got night work as a security guard and red would refuse to sleep with A until I got home she would always say it felt like something / some one was watching her.
Now red had family down, and said family is a medium (at the time I would have laughed at this as I was very much so on the fence). But one night reds auntie was at her mums house and was doing a reading. During this reading she said she become overtaken by an entity she started pulling this horrible smile that my little lad used to do. (I wasn’t there to confirm this). But the next morning red and I and A are out and about in the car just been for hot chocolate when red gets a phone call from her mum.
Are you with T (me) red says yeah why? Her mum says get T and A to mine right now they both need to be saged with a white feather. So at this point I’m like *** off laughing but then I thought **** it I’ll ride the bus to the next stop. I walk into reds mums and her aunt (who I’ve never ever met doesn’t even know my second name) says to me you would have had a little boy, he would have been around 5 now and his birthday is in July.
Truth be told before I moved to Cornwall I had relations with a lady they should have been forbidden and she fell pregnant, but unfortunately lost the baby. How ever she was pulled to one side by a stranger in the street whom said 10th of July he would have been here.
So this lady reds aunt doesn’t know a thing about me but knew this, knew what faces / smirks A used to do and knew about him screaming from the kitchen and climbing up me in panic. She hadn’t seen or heard any of this no one had.

But things at the flat was getting worse I contacted Carrol and she said go into every room every storage room / cubard every dark space and say if you are not here with love and light then I command you too leave
A was getting more and more anxious in the flat, around this time we had been accepted for a house and one day he was in the hall way, I was getting the hoover out and he kept slamming the door on the cubard shut saying no daddy I thought he was being cute. I was wrong.
As things started to escalate we tried to reach out for help I’ve gone from a sceptic to a full on believer. We went to a witch shop a couple of towns over, the sell crystals candles etc etc. but when we walked in the woman wouldn’t even look at me, I tried to explain my story but A started messing around so I took him out side and this lady said to red no candles or crystals are going to help him with what he’s got she gave red two business cards for 2 white witches.
So let’s fast forward again at this point reds had enough A is unhappy! But we have a new house to move into so we said we would stay in the flat one last night before we go to the new house the next day. Our last night in the flat didn’t last from the second we walked in it felt so cold so unwelcoming just horrible atmosphere. So we packed up and went and slept on the couch in our new house. That was the last time red or A would step foot in that flat.
I had given my notice to my landlord about moving so I was there cleaning with L that’s reds sister and as we are cleaning we are both in separate rooms, she is in the kitchen I’m in the bedroom I hear her scream and then she ran into the room I was cleaning. Turns out this thing was not happy not happy at all. She was cleaning the cubard under the sink and as she tried to close the door she said it felt like something was pushing against it. She let go of it and it slammed shut. I did actually hear it from the bedroom, I told her to calm down it will be ok and we will work together.
I walked into the bathroom now this flats been empty all day I had had a wee when I first got there but other than that, nothing no one had used the bathroom. I get reds mum over to sage the flat and she said she hated being in there, and I have 3 friends they are all into the paranormal, and wanted to explore the flat. I allowed them in as they where down on holiday and I’ll call him S is just like me emotionally dead only had two but after he left that flat he got in our friends car, he broke down in full blows tears and said he’s never felt so empty unloved and lonely. Another of our friends said he saw a long thin figure in the living room all in black with no eyes and was not of this world. He said the reason it had no eyes is because the eyes are a portal to the soul and things not of this plain can’t copy the eyes.
Any way let’s move on I left that flat and every time I left I had to say you are not welcome to follow me or attach to me, you are not welcome in my home or around my family you must stay here or go back to where you belong
Me red and A have lived in our new place a couple of years he’s happy no more screaming and running up me, red is comfortable and I haven’t awoke with chain marks since we started living here.

I don’t even know where to start this so I’ll just go from where I feel is relevant, I 31 male moved to Cornwall uk in 2018 then 24 coming up to 25. I moved into a beautiful one bedroom flat with sea views with nothing but a motorbike 1 bag on my back and a starting date for work 18th February 2018.
All was fine everything was going good life was finally looking up I moved from a city to rural countryside breathtaking beaches, beautiful people and I was ready to finally start adulthood. When I moved into my flat I had nothing, absolutely nothing apart from 7 days worth of clean boxers and socks a guitar and some chef whites. The flat was unfurnished apart from a bed frame and a chest of drawers so naturally I would have to buy everything I needed while I was there, I didn’t even have a mattress for my bed. 2018 was a big year for Cornwall as we had the beast of the east, heavy snow (now I like snow and being a northern boy I was used to it but this stuff came down thick and heavy)! As I said I had a motorbike for transport and I was in work when the beast of the east hit and obviously couldn’t ride back home as the snow was about 2 ft deep by the time I left.
So I walk home and as soon as you entered my flat my bedroom was to the right of the front door a cubard directly in front of you my bathroom just to the left and my living room just down the hallway to the left also. In my hall way I had a shoe rack where I always used to put my shoes, now given I had just walked 3 miles in the snow I could swear I put my bike boots on said shoe rack when I got home. Any way I carried on with my evening as normal and played guitar drank a few beers and just generally chilled before getting my head down. I was sleeping on my couch as my mattress hadn’t arrived yet, but the next morning when I woke up my bike boots was in-front of the couch like some one had jumped on them walked up to where I was sleeping and jumped out. Not only that my heater had been pulled out of the alcove it was in and turned on. I passed this off as nothing it was probably just me and I didn’t remember.
Fast forward a few months nearly a year and I’m all settled my flat is great, my work is great life is good. I met a beautiful young lady (that’s now my wife) although we just started as friends. I’m so happy.
How ever I worked on a holiday park as a chef, one day I get a knock on the back door to the kitchen. There was a man that I had been serving all week and he said sorry to bother you but my wife would like a word with you. Now I’m thinking great what have I done now. But she was smiling and happy and said to me is your gf or wife pregnant I had neither at the time, so I responded nope why do you ask? She told me her name it was carrol (forget her second name) she was a head at a spiritual church in wales. She proceeded to tell me I had a little boys spirit following me around and she could see him. I didn’t know how to react, so I just said oh ok really! And took her details added her on Facebook etc etc, now a few months go by things in the flat was getting weird not that I recognised at the time but like things moving / going missing and I just played it off like it was me being tired from work.
Again fast forward a little bit I’m dating my now wife and mother to my children, she’s staying over but she worked evenings till early hours in the morning when i would wait to go pick her up, at this point I had sold my motorbike to buy a car (more practical and I needed one as per the condition where I worked was I had to have a car to collect stock of a morning).
One night she was in work I was sat at my table designing her tattoo for the back of her leg as I love to draw, I used to have lanterns on my table that where on like a metal frame but they could swing. That night I was drawing both lanterns where swinging in unison so I FaceTimed I will call her red (as I don’t wish to identify her by name). While on face time I showed her the lanterns and I stepped away from the table thinking my shading was moving them and the second I did I swear to the almighty lord they stoped dead! Dead centre like they hadn’t even moved. She witnessed this and was like what the ****.
But once again we put it to the back of our minds and fast forward a few days / maybe a week. I used to have a picture of red and her best friend one of them stupid long ones that you get from a photo machine at an arcade, locked behind my intercoms phone. One day we was stood in the living room and i promise no one was near it but this picture came from behind the phone and landed in the middle of the living room floor. We laughed about it at the time and was like oooooo spooky but we was stupid!
So strange things kept happening red hated being in the flat on her own and hated being in my room as I had a built in wardrobe and she would always say she felt uneasy. The strange things never stopped but we always just brushed it off. Until …….
Our son is born now there’s a 2 year gap where my little lad I’ll refer to him as A, the happings never stopped or eased but we would always just pass it off, how ever when A was about 2 he would always talk to him self in the kitchen and say brother, look daddy brother but not a second later he would scream. Any one whos a parent knows there kids sounds and this sound instantly got my back up am talking as a father hearing my son make this noise I was ready to kill, the anger and rage that I felt inside was something I can’t even put into words, my baby boy was terrified of something and fatherly instincts kicked in.
Every morning while at this flat I would wake up with little bumps or marks across my body, but I always thought it was where I slept or how I slept, but red noticed the same time my lad was doing what he was in the kitchen I was waking up with what looked like chain marks around my wrists and arms and sometimes I awoke with scratches not 4 or 5 like a human hand but 3, just 3 linear scratches across my body.
Covid 2.0 come along, we all get locked down now hear I am with a young family so I did my door badge, I got night work as a security guard and red would refuse to sleep with A until I got home she would always say it felt like something / some one was watching her.
Now red had family down, and said family is a medium (at the time I would have laughed at this as I was very much so on the fence). But one night reds auntie was at her mums house and was doing a reading. During this reading she said she become overtaken by an entity she started pulling this horrible smile that my little lad used to do. (I wasn’t there to confirm this). But the next morning red and I and A are out and about in the car just been for hot chocolate when red gets a phone call from her mum.
Are you with T (me) red says yeah why? Her mum says get T and A to mine right now they both need to be saged with a white feather. So at this point I’m like *** off laughing but then I thought **** it I’ll ride the bus to the next stop. I walk into reds mums and her aunt (who I’ve never ever met doesn’t even know my second name) says to me you would have had a little boy, he would have been around 5 now and his birthday is in July.
Truth be told before I moved to Cornwall I had relations with a lady they should have been forbidden and she fell pregnant, but unfortunately lost the baby. How ever she was pulled to one side by a stranger in the street whom said 10th of July he would have been here.

I have some opinions about the way people are perceiving Brooke lately
The listeners have been running with the narrative that Brooke is conceited and a mean girl now for a while and I have some thoughts on this.
In the way I perceive her and judging through the podcast episodes I just think Brooke is in a toxic environement and struggling with insecurity and identity issues is hard when in an environment where someone is the ring leader of your friend group. I feel that Brooke hasn’t always been treated greatly by Tana’s closest friends in different ways and that’s probably hard for her to navigate which is probably why she is seeking out other friendships in the industry. Tana is the main focus of all of their friends and a best friend to everybody. Being the best friend of someone who is a best friend to everybody is hard because I doubt Tana speaks up for Brooke enough against her friends like Ashly while claiming her as a best friend and cohost. I’ve watched Tana since her story times and she’s shown she can be a bit messy at times with friendships and Brooke has made it clear how important friendships are to her. I’m not saying Brooke is perfect and Tana is terrible I’m just saying that if I were Tana I wouldn’t tolerate my childhood bestie being mean to my new bestie if I respected my new bestie and our friendship. Their dynamic is hard because they’re friends and they work together and Tana is an already established influencer but I don’t think that means Brooke adds nothing to the table. Every person enjoyed Brooke when she would open up more and tell her stories and since she stopped people have started to hate her but judging from the Reddit cancelled sub I’m not surprised Brooke doesn’t feel comfortable on the pod anymore with opening up. People nitpick every aspect of her. I know I wouldn’t.
I think the podcast would go back to normal if the fans just were more loving and supportive of them both equally. Brooke is new to the internet she’s not going to be perfect and. She’s in her 20s she’s not going to be a model person and that’s not the reason they started this podcast. The reason for this podcast was for them to yap and tell about their personal lives and the more y’all nitpick every aspect of the that podcast the more yall ruin it. I wish people would just enjoy things for what they are instead of trying to make everything perfect all of the time. It’s obvious they have the most fun when they are enjoying themselves and with the fan base I’m seeing right now it would be really hard to enjoy myself with people who degrade every aspect of me.
Also with the talk on Brooke trying to be more brand friendly and always going to alo and talking about it or having a clean girl aesthetic
Why is that so bad? - Tana mentions wanting to be more brand friendly and how she wants to be able to work with more brands which is good so why should Brooke not want that as well - going to Alo is good and exercise how is that conceited and I’m talking specific what story has she said that insinuates she’s better than everybody else because she goes to Alo or is she just proud of herself? - having a clean girl aesthetic doesn’t make you a good person and she never claimed to be a saint and people have pushed the narrative of the fact she’s so put together but how is that her fault she says she’s not all of the time and it’s probably because yall use that to shit on her but y’all created that . - Brooke story about how nobody goes to her birthday in the friend group and on the ep how invalidating her friends were just made it very clear the dynamic in that friend group and I don’t think Brooke is is in the wrong for wanting to make new friends and to sustain her career.
Tana gave her the platform and Brooke is trying to do the best she can to make something of herself. It would be wrong for Brooke to not be grateful in which she has stated countless times how grateful she is and it would be wrong for Tana to expect Brooke to kiss her ass for the rest of her life for her career because that’s manipulative and toxic and not giving a platform for the right reasons.
Yall go back and forth with victimizing one of the girls and pitting them against each other. I just hope Tana has Brooke’s back because it’s evident that Brooke really cherishes their friendship and this opportunity and the only way to get Brooke back to the fun careless girl she was is to make her comfortable and loved and she’s made it clear how much friendships mean to her and with the dynamic of that friend group and the hateful fans my mental health would be shit too.

I dont like my brother. It’s as simple as that. Im 17 (f) and he’s 37 something (m). There’s some things I do like about him. He’s really open and accepting about lots of stuff. But mainly because he just has a nonchalant character and doesn’t care about anything. He’s been thru a lot of crap, and my mom used to be rrly bad to him when he was a kid. But he never resented her for it. In fact, those two love each other so much. I guess that’s where I can start, because I’m jealous of their relationship. I’m jealous of how easily he can forgive someone who treated him like crap, and I’m jealous that their relationship is ever so close. I’ve never had a steady relationship with my mother. It’s always difficult between us. And she didn’t do half the things to me that she did to him, and yet I still resent my mother for certain things. So I’m jealous of that.
The main thing though is I don’t know this guy. I didn’t grow up with him, he never visited. It was always my family and I visiting him every 5 years or so. So before he moved home 2 years ago I had probably seen him maybe 5 times my whole life and just for a short amount of time. So this man remains a stranger to me. I don’t know much about him because he doesn’t open up to me, and I can’t really say I care. I know enough of what my mom has told me. Plus, I don’t want to talk to him about myself because I don’t really have 1 on 1 conversations like that, but he knows me somewhat as well. So we usually talk about stupid stuff. I won’t lie he is funny and we have good conversations sometimes. But then we argue about stuff bc we don’t agree on the same things. I don’t have a problem with that, but it’s the fact that I just don’t know who this guy is.
I grew up with this kid in my neighborhood who I see as my true and only brother. Sure I have my biological brother but he will never match up to the kid I grew up with. And it bothers my mom and she gets mad that I see the actual person I grew up with as my brother. Btw, my brother moved out around the time I was born in a city where he spent loads of money on stupid crap and worried my mother all the time. Id be lying if I said I didn’t care that he was gone bc I did, I always wanted to get close to my biological brother, but now idc.
Lastly, this might really make me seem like a brat. But I’m a rrly hard studier in my school. Sometimes I’ll go to sleep around 2-3 and wake up early just to study. I get really good grades and I dont let myself go easily during the school year in order to maintain my good grades. So when it’s summer time. I need it to be summer. I’m blessed and incredibly grateful that I have the ability to go to other places in the country, so when I heard we were going to California this summer I was excited. But now. A week at Cali has been cut down to only 2 days. Why? Because we have to be present at my brother’s ceremony thing at a retreat. I’ll have you know he doesn’t want to even go to this retreat . And he’s only going because my mom is PAYING him to go. So imagine getting your vacation cut short to be present at a ceremony where he’s probably not even gonna be happy at. Like cmon. I feel bad sometimes but honestly what does my family expect. I can’t just open myself to a stranger, I just wish things were the way they were before he came.

First of all yes i know that we have an age gap that most people are alarmed by. We met when i was 18 and he was 26 on discord, i had met his friend on a public server, then i got invited to a private server where i met my boyfriend.
I wont lie i immediately started flirting with him a week or two in. Because i just thought he was funny and i didnt really take the flirting seriously. I asked him for his snap which he avoided giving me, a few days went by and i asked him about it, he said that he didnt really want things to get weird since im younger.
Then we kept talking for about 2 months, we moved to snap and were talking 24/7. He said that he didn’t just wanna flirt with me, that he wanted to develop a better friendship before that.
So fast forward to a year and a half, where we first met, we spent two weeks together and honestly it was the best time of my life, we had the best chemistry, he makes me laugh and feel comfortable and i just felt so connected to him. Then three months later we saw each other again then 6 months later we saw each other for the 3rd time.
So thats the main layout of our relationship, he really is a great guy, he doesn’t make me feel bad for my emotions like many people in my life do, he makes me feel appreciated, and when we are together he couldn’t be better in any way, he cleans up the rooms we stay at, he always makes sure i eat and buy whatever i like and makes me feel great about my body and self esteem. He is affectionate, he cares. He truly cares.
But then…. When its back online and aren’t together anymore shit just gets so rocky for me. I start to notice everything that i dont like or appreciate about him. Like the fact that his only interest is just gaming. Thats just his main/ only hobby. And i wish it was gaming in general because i like certain types of games, no. Its just apex legends and before you ask no i cant play with him because my laptop wont run it.
Anyway the reason i bring that up is because he doesnt show interest or any kind of curiosity to anything i like. Or he doesnt put in effort for us to do activities online (or real life) together. For instance if i wanna watch a movie together he would go on about how he doesnt wanna sit on his computer for 2 hours watching a movie, and make a whole fuss. Then he would put on the movie while sulking just to be like “i actually liked it yea” he has NEVER once (in our two year relationship) brought up a movie recommendation on his own. He has NEVER brought up a game recommendation on his own for us to do, i suggested it takes two, stardew valley, portal 2, rocket league… etc. BUT WHY CANT HE BE THE ONE TO DO IT. I DONT EVEN PLAY GAMES.
Anytime i try to show him a song or any kind of video he makes it HELL for me. He just starts ranting about how i consume shitty content or how the songs i like don’t interest him and he sighs and sulks throughout the whole thing meanwhile i would sit and listen to entire albums IF HE WERE TO SHOW ME WHICH HE NEVER DOES.
Sigh. I just…. Find him.. unintresting because he acts so uninterested. I just feel like i would like to spend time with someone where the fun isn’t reliant on me. He isn’t the type of person to look deep into things just for fun.
We have talked and argued about these things way too many times. Obviously nothing has changed or will change. But I obviously still love him so much. And i KNOW that he loves me just as much. He has been there for me like no one in my life ever has, and he never held it against me. All the times i treated him badly. We stuck together, and we have so many amazing memories. But i still have doubts. He is my first boyfriend and i am his first girlfriend after 8 years of being single.
We align in so many ways, our values and goals in our lives. I think about being married to him but i also think about these things that i dislike about him coming to the forefront once we live together. So thats the main layout of our relationship, he really is a great guy, he doesn’t make me feel bad for my emotions like many people in my life do, he makes me feel appreciated, and when we are together he couldn’t be better in any way, he cleans up the rooms we stay at, he always makes sure i eat and buy whatever i like and makes me feel great about my body and self esteem. He is affectionate, he cares. He truly cares.
But then…. When its back online and aren’t together anymore shit just gets so rocky for me. I start to notice everything that i dont like or appreciate about him. Like the fact that his only interest is just gaming. Thats just his main/ only hobby. And i wish it was gaming in general because i like certain types of games, no. Its just apex legends and before you ask no i cant play with him because my laptop wont run it.
Anyway the reason i bring that up is because he doesnt show interest or any kind of curiosity to anything i like. Or he doesnt put in effort for us to do activities online (or real life) together. For instance if i wanna watch a movie together he would go on about how he doesnt wanna sit on his computer for 2 hours watching a movie, and make a whole fuss. Then he would put on the movie while sulking just to be like “i actually liked it yea” he has NEVER once (in our two year relationship) brought up a movie recommendation on his own. He has NEVER brought up a game recommendation on his own for us to do, i suggested it takes two, stardew valley, portal 2, rocket league… etc. BUT WHY CANT HE BE THE ONE TO DO IT. I DONT EVEN PLAY GAMES.
Anytime i try to show him a song or any kind of video he makes it HELL for me. He just starts ranting about how i consume shitty content or how the songs i like don’t interest him and he sighs and sulks throughout the whole thing meanwhile i would sit and listen to entire albums IF HE WERE TO SHOW ME WHICH HE NEVER DOES.
Sigh. I just…. Find him.. unintresting because he acts so uninterested. I just feel like i would like to spend time with someone where the fun isn’t reliant on me. And even if it is, i want someone to be able to watch movies and show with and dissect characters and talk about. That has never happened with him. He isn’t the type of person to look deep into things just for fun.
We have talked and argued about these things way too many times. Obviously nothing has changed or will change. But I obviously still love him so much. And i KNOW that he loves me just as much. He has been there for me like no one in my life ever has, and he never held it against me. All the times i treated him badly. We stuck together, and we have so many amazing memories. But i still have doubts. He is my first boyfriend and i am his first girlfriend after 8 years of being single.
We align in so many ways, our values and goals in our lives. I think about being married to him but i also think about these things that i dislike about him coming to the forefront once we live together. Maybe i will just find my life boring with him and his lack of effort/ thoughtfulness exhausting.
Please help.
