Lord Daemon Velaryon, the admiral of the royal fleet, and brother of Alyssa Velaryon was the first of the great lords to forsake Maegor, taking the royal fleet with him, and many other lords followed his example. The great houses of Lannister, Tyrell, and Arryn came out against Maegor and in the riverlands House Tully gave support to Septon Moon and Ser Joffrey Doggett, the leaders of the Poor Fellows.
Maegor called his banners in response, but few answered, giving Maegor an army of barely four thousand soldiers. Despite this, Maegor refused to surrender. At the end of the war council, Maegor remained behind alone in the throne room to brood. Harrenhal thus passed to his eldest son. Lord Jordan remained loyal to Maegor during the king's wars, and Lord Rosby were the last to see the king alive before Maegor's death on the Iron Throne. Along with Lords Darklyn and Staunton, Jordan yielded the Red Keep to Prince Jaehaerys, Princess Rhaena, and Princess Alysanne Targaryen. The three lords were sent to the black cells, but were eventually pardoned by King Jaehaerys I after surrendering some of their land.
Jordan eventually died of a chest congestion. Harrenhal passed to Jordan's last surviving son, Maegor Towers, as Jordan's older sons had all died fighting for King Maegor.
Maegor's father, Lord Jordan Towers, was one of the last lords of the Seven Kingdoms who remained loyal to King Maegor I Targaryen. All of Jordan's sons died fighting in the king's wars, with the exception of young Maegor.
Maegor became Lord Towers after the death of his father due to a chest congestion. When King Jaehaerys I Targaryen began a royal progress in 53 AC to celebrate the new year, his first stop was to see the new Lord of Harrenhal, then only nine years of age.
Maegor was an impoverished lord who resided in the Tower of Dread with only a cook and three men-at-arms. Since the rest of Harrenhal was empty, King Jaehaerys settled his widowed sister, Rhaena Targaryen, in the Widow's Tower in 56 AC. Maegor and Rhaena eventually became friends, and she cared for his servants after Maegor passed away in 61 AC. Harrenhal was granted to House Strong after Rhaena passed away in 73 AC.
Maegor was sickly and poor.
Socrates speaks his last words to Crito: "Crito, we owe a cock to Asclepius. Please, don't forget to pay the debt". Asclepius was the Greek god for curing illness, and it is likely that Socrates' last words were implied to mean that death is the cure, and freedom of the soul from the body.

Zeus saw Asclepius & his medical skills as a threat to the eternal division between humanity & the gods. Asclepius met a tragic end when he was killed by a thunderbolt thrown by Zeus.
Socrates ultimately does not fear death because of his innocence, he believes that death is not to be feared because it may be one of the greatest blessings of the soul.
The reasons for Socrates not escaping when he had the chance the night prior; are made explicit before the Laws make their speech. Because escape defies the will of the Athenians, it requires stealth and bribery, shameful practices that are unjustified in the current situation.
Socrates Feared Democracies Would Elect Demagogues. The term arose in Greece in the fifth century BCE, right around Socrates's time, and is often used negatively. Socrates himself was extremely worried that the democratic format would give rise to a demagoguery.
Demagogues are political leaders who seek support by appealing to the desires and prejudices of ordinary people rather than by using rational argument.
Modern demagogues include Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Huey Long, Father Coughlin, and Joseph McCarthy, all of whom built mass followings the same way that Cleon did: by exciting the passions of the masses against customs and norms of the aristocratic elites of their times.

This is why Maegor and Socrates died. They challenged authority and lost. They were silenced by the powerful lords and by the elected council of Athens whom were given power by the common people.
They were “heroes”.

Lord Edwell Celtigar, the Hand of the King, announced half a year after the wedding that Queen Jeyne was pregnant, and Queen Elinor's pregnancy was announced shortly afterwards. Maegor, joyful, showered both his wives with gifts and honors, and granted new lands and offices to their fathers, brothers, and uncles. Unfortunately, Jeyne's labor began three months early, and she gave birth to a stillborn child, monstrous, lacking arms and legs but possessing both male and female genitalia. Jeyne herself died soon after.

In 48 AC, Tyanna of the Tower confessed to having poisoned Jeyne's child in the womb.

Unfortunately, Jeyne's labor began three months early, and she gave birth to a stillborn child, monstrous, lacking arms and legs but possessing both male and female genitalia. Jeyne herself died soon after.

When the great houses rebelled, Lord Daemon Velaryon, the brother of Alyssa Velaryon, escaped with the Royal Fleet and left King’s Landing.
Maegor called his banners to fight against the threat but they were too few and Elinor Costayne begged him to surrender to save her two eldest sons and the son of the long deceased Jeyne Westerling. The following morning, Elinor Costayne found the King dead, his wrists slashed and throat impaled on the back of the Iron Throne.

G'day all! My team and I are working on our first game (retro 3D collect-a-thon) and have gotten decently far. We started it as final year uni students and have gotten decent systems working throughout. Problem is our programmers are usually very busy and cannot always help. What would be some recommendations for an asset that would help us create new systems and help in tandem with the current systems. We already have a player controller that we worked hard on. The systems we need help on most are a quest and dialogue system. We would like the dialogue UI to have a text box, potential voice oveeffects and a 2D portrait to show NPC expressions. We'd like the NPC to be able to give out quests and the player to be able to interact with them via multiple choice. I've looked at Game Creator, PlayMaker and Pixel crusher's Dialogue system and Quest machine.
TL,DR - Need a quest and dialogue asset that works best slotted into a developing project.

I said i would make a follow-up if anything came of the situation, and with everyone on the last post insinuating me to be a liar i figured i'd come back now with some good news.
my friend recieved word today from a gaijiin rep that his account is finally UNBLOCKED. it took about a week of back and forth with one reply per day but it finally happened. gaijiin asked him to send his HWID info with all his system specs, and the next day he was unblocked.
he was finally able to get 2FA set up through his email, although it still doesnt work when he tries to get a text through his phone.
happy ending! his account is protected and he got unbanned. honestly, i was convinced he was just not going to get the account back. someone on my last post said "its his fault for letting someone use his account and get banned, its on him" and while that is most definitely true, i want people to know that gaijiin WILL help you out in these situations. its a relief knowing that they give a shit about the common man and you dont have to be a content creator to get unbanned.

This is my first playthrough and I kinda focused on making money and completely ignored combat. I now have a few freighter fleets, some regular and advanced production stations, distribution hubs and a large mining fleet for said stations.
Im making around 20.000.000/h, I know its not a lot but I only have around 50~ hours in the game.
Recently the Kha'ak have been attacking my miners in a system, thankfully I only keep L miners there and they cant even touch them without being blown to bits. I suspect that is temporary so I preemptively purchased 3 Jian gunboats for 15mil in hopes of fending them off. Thats when I realized I have no idea what im doing.
Is there any comprehensive documentation or video explaining fleet combat, ship types, formations, commands, weapons, turrets etc etc.
I honestly tried searching but couldn't find anything that explains it in detail, a video by a creator called captain collins explained the commands pretty well but thats basically all I could find.

The things Im trying to figure out are:
Is it good to mix ship types or stay in one type. For an example I have a "fleet" of 3 M gunboats should I add 10 fighters to it to intercept enemy S ships or just 3 more M gunboats with flak. How do frigates and corvettes play into that? Do I need a L ship as a commans vessel as well. Is it more effective to split it into 1 M fleet and 1 S fleet. If I use a carrier do I need to surround it with smaller M & L escort ships in order to keep it safe while the fighters and bombers do the work. Where even are the bombers? I keep hearing content creators & people here mention them but I cant even seem to even find that ship type. All I see is fighter and heavy fighter. What even is the difference between the two? How does one employ fleet formations correctly? The stars required to execute a formation are only for the lead ships captain or do they have to be the same on even the lowest common denominator for evdry ship in aforementioned formation. How do resupply ships work here.

M41/F42 Been married for 5 years. (Together 6) Wife has been unemployed or underemployed since almost the day we got married. I'm pretty sure she's been battling serious mental illness, drug addiction and/or alcoholism since her early 20s. I'm in the logistics industry and travel 75% of the time. I don't cheat. I don't do anything that I read creepy guys doing on here. I love my wife more than anything in the world. However...
I think my wife has been torpedoing our marriage almost since day 1. It's taken me a while to realize, but today I was talking with my pastor about our struggles and he said "You know, none of this is your fault and you know you need to walk away." It's really sunk in that things are bad and my marriage might be over.
Since we began dating my wife has always been concerned about the amount of travel my job requires. It has been an argument at least once a week and it is EXHAUSTING. I have gone so far as to look for a new job many times to try to help the situation but this is definitely a case of golden handcuffs and since marriage our cost of living has gone way up. I have been accused repeatedly of cheating by my wife even though I have no time and don't even know where I would meet someone if I wanted to cheat. I have never been on social media and I don't drink so no bars for me.
I have recently found out that while I'm away for work my wife has been texting her male college *friends* and direct messaging men in a very much flirtatious and inappropriate way. My wife has always gone out with men socially when I was away for work but she always claimed it was just friendly. She recently has started getting very aggressive towards me when she is drunk and/or high and calling me at all hours yelling and saying some of the most awful things about our marriage. I can hear men in the background and she is almost always at a club or some man's house.
Now I have been finding drug paraphernalia and drugs themselves hidden in our house. She always says she is clean and denies using but it's clear that is not the case. Every time I ask my wife if she is drunk or high she vehemently denies being under the influence, even though sometimes it is very obvious she is drunk or high.
In terms of money, I always give my wife money when she asks and will buy her anything she wants. I am not controlling of our money and I am proud that I work hard and can support my household. But I found out that she has been spending money on male strippers from an adult revue near our house instead of our debts that we should be paying down when our rent didn't get paid last month. I confronted her about the rent and looked up the transactions on the joint account I set up for her. There are thousands of dollars going to male strippers and OF creators. I was crushed seeing these but she says that nothing happened and she was just looking for attention when I was on the road. She swore she would never do it again. I think I was just being blinded by love in believing her and delusional because a few weeks ago I found out that she opened up a credit card under both our names and has been getting hotel rooms and expensive meals all over our city...while also, yes, you guessed it, spending thousands on male strippers.
I have asked my wife if she needs professional help. She says nothing is wrong. She admits that she may have lied to me about some things but she swears she will never lie to me again.
When I ask to talk about what she wants in the marriage and what she needs she says she is happy and shuts down completely. I have gone so far to ask her point blank if she wants a divorce and she breaks down crying swearing that's not the case each time.
I have definitely been delusional because every time I have ever confronted my wife about anything she has lied to my face. I think my wife has been lying to me about everything since the day we met.
When all is said and done I love my wife. I love her so much and my heart is breaking. Am I overreacting about our marriage being over or do you think we can come back from all this and rebuild trust with each other? I'm just at the end of my rope but I don't want to end my marriage.

I was wondering if anyone could make a template based on the seasonal/new heroes banner trailers that feature units that incorporates the color backgrounds, the text window, symbols, specific fonts, and stuff to make a mock new unit type image for fan designs of our favorite heroes.

(This is a long story) So me and my Gf (who'll I'll simply refer to as GF to make sure her name stays private) have been dating for about 5 years, and a lot has happened in that time that has made me feel like an asshole.
We met about 6 years ago online on roblox and for a while we would simply have fun playing games and role-playing, but quickly she begun to weaves a lot of dark tales, a few examples (please keep in mind this was all online): 1. She got really sad and a minute later she was a cliff about to jump off, then exactly 2 minutes later she was in a police car then taken home and then she continued like nothing ever happened. 2. She originally told me she lives with her sister and both of her parents were dead, later on she told me her mother was dead and she lived with her father and sister. Now I know both of her parents are alive and she has two sister who are both on opposite ends of the world to us. 3. She changed her name many times online some being, Axel, DJ, Rico and Ashton although there were a few others.
Eventually we began talking on WhatsApp (and yes she is actually a girl and not some 40 year old man) quickly she told me all about her depression and suicidal thoughts, and for a long time we were happy, indeed every once in a while she would text me to say "goodbye" because she was going through a really rough patch but too this day my heart has broken so many times as I pray to whatever God is up there that she makes it and she always does, but she still ends up surviving.
Just about 1 year ago she met a boy called Noel and started immediately talking about him so much, he would make her songs and I would have to sit down and listen to her ramble on about this guy she has only known for a week whilst I have been for boyfriends for a long time, anyway as you can probably guess a week after she met him, I finally snapped and had a break down in my bedroom alone and tried to text her to get comfort but when she wasn't picking up on my hints I text her asking why she didn't care about me and how oblivious she is to my emotions. She simply replied with "okay bye then" and after a few back a fourth with me begging her to stay she blocked me on everything and I was left alone and broken. It took me 2 days to be able to talk to her again and those two days were the worst days I have ever felt in my whole life, everything felt like it was on hold and frozen.
After a while I convinced my friend to add her on WhatsApp and after I guided him in what he should say I found out that 2 hours after she blocked me Noel asked her out and she agreed. So my friend then added me to a chat with her where we tried to work out our issues (it was mostly me crying and trying to understand why she was so cold and her talking about how cool Noel is) eventually I just put myself on auto-pilot and shut down just telling her I'll always be there for her and I just hope she's happy.
Bur after only a week of them two dating and me talking to her again, I noticed so many red flags I felt disgusting by not telling her, so I began pointing them out whenever I saw one, infact I saw a new red flag so often I made a whole animation to make it easier instead of saying it every time (I admit I was probably an asshole about this but I just wanted to protect her), anyway eventually he stopped responding to her and he went silent and too this day she never heard back from him, so after a few days of crying and getting pity from me we some how ended up dating again we never asked each other out it just somehow happened.
And then again for a while everything was fine, but something changed it her after meeting Noel, I could feel it in her, she was easier to set off, she had a lot more suicidal episodes and she was especially a lot more toxic towards anything I said. And that brings us to the past month where she's discovered a music artist called Tyler the creator, he seems like a chill guy but one of his songs is about him stalking a girl who rejects him and then he ends up eating her and fucking her which personally I think is disgusting. But I always said to her that she can listen to whatever she wants but I don't want to hear that song since I have my views on it. For this past month she has been obsessing over Tyler and this specific song.
So just a few hours ago we were on call, she was drawing on her tablet and I was playing minecraft, then suddenly she begins obsessing over Tyler again and talking about how much she loves him, then she starts saying how she's going to start playing that song and I ask her not to as it makes me uncomfortable and creeps me out. She starts playing it, over and over and over again, I could feel my heart beating as it mad me more and more uncomfortable and after several requests for her to turn it off or simply turn it down where she ignored me entirely I hung up, I admit I maybe took it too far by hanging up but I felt disrespected and uncomfortable.
Not even a minute after I hung up she texted me and this is the texts that followed: Her: weak Me: I respect everyone as much as I can, but I won't respect that or the fact you call me weak for disliking a song about rape, cannibalism, stalking and murder Her: I don’t respect you no more Me: You're welcome to listen to it all you want, but I will not Her: You do realise that Tyler didn’t even do any of that shit irl and you already think he’s a horrible person? He’s made worse songs yet you think he’s bad because of one simple song, that’s pathetic. Yeah sure rape and shit is bad but who cares these days, this song comforts me because I’ve been raped before and how do you think I feel when you think my favourite artist is a horrible person. No more respect for you. Me: I don't think he's a terrible person. I think the song is bad and like I said you can listen to it all you want but I just don't want to because the topic makes me uncomfortable
I don't know what shes on about for saying she's been raped before as her family nor her have ever even mentioned anything about it.
I feel like all these events that have happened in the past few years have taken a really big tole on my mental health as I always have to help her and she never helps me, I can't bring any of this up to her as the few times I have she's gotten really sad and ignores me, so now people of Reddit I'm begging for your help, what should I do with my relationship?
